Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Chipping our Soldiers

This article came from the New American on the chipping of the American soldier:

According to Albrecht, the use of injectable microchips that do not necessarily track people could eventually lead to calls for systems that do. And while she does not expect the government to ever force Americans to accept the chip at “gunpoint,” the gradual process of expanding the whole system should be halted now — before it is too late. Captive audiences like soldiers and prisoners, she told World Net Daily, are merely a stepping stone to broader use.

The proposed DARPA system would work by pumping unimaginably small “nanosensors” into the human body to monitor stress levels, inflammation, diseases, nutrition, and more. In addition to feeding doctors real-time information on the physiological state of individual U.S. troops, DARPA hopes to further develop the technology so that it could actually work to treat the problems from within. The agency expects to begin working on the treatment aspect of the program in late 2012.
“The military runs on the strength of its soldiers, and this latest innovation holds promise to bolster the U.S. armed forces by decreasing preventable illnesses and keeping its men and women at the peak of their health,” claimed Kate Knibbs in an article touting the implants for Mobiledia, a technology-focused news outlet that was among the first to break the story.
Gee, Kate, you guys are concerned about their health, but don't seem to blink an eye at the fact that more soldiers commit suicide than are killed on the battlefield. And thanks to the NDAA includes the whole wide world.

USS Liberty: We'll Never Forget

Here is Loss of Liberty, a documentary you won't find on the History Channel:

A Navy listening ship in international waters off the coast of Israel and Egypt gets straifed, torpedoed, and napalmed by Israel of all people. Their reasoning? They mistook this boat flying an oversized American flag loaded down with antennas for an Egyptian boat a fraction of its size.

But Mom! I Don't Want to Go to Camp!

Not this kind of camp anyway.  Previously, I told you how contractor KBR was getting taking bids for laundry, food services etc, from US citizens should a crisis arise and camps needed setting up. Taking that as a little bit of background, let's see what this document has to say about us here in the "homeland".
Via Infowars, they've pulled the best bits out of your typical verbose government manual. Full document here.

Let's just start with the intro:

I/R operations facilitate the ability to conduct rapid and decisive combat operations; deter, mitigate, and defeat threats to populations that may result in conflict; reverse conditions of human suffering; and build the capacity of a foreign government to effectively care for and govern its population. This includes capabilities to conduct shaping operations across the spectrum of military operations to mitigate and defeat the underlying conditions for conflict and counter the core motivations that result in support to criminal, terrorist, insurgent, and other
destabilizing groups. I/R operations also include the daily incarceration of U.S. military prisoners at facilities throughout the world.
This manual continues the evolution of the I/R function to support the changing nature of OEs. In light of persistent armed conflict and social turmoil throughout the world, the effects on populations remain a compelling issue. The world population will increase from 6 billion to 9 billion in the next two decades, with 95 percent of the growth occurring in the developing world. By 2030, 60 percent of the world’s population will live in urban areas. Coexisting demographically and ethnically, diverse societies will aggressively compete for limited resources.
found at Voting American
The thrust of this manual is that it is going to be used primarily in the third world, but look at the goals of our military here: "reverse conditions of human suffering", "defeat threats that may result in conflict" and last but not least, "build the capacity of a foreign government to care for and govern its population". OOOOKKK. Each one of those could be its own post. Jesus Christ is coming to end human suffering, in the mean time, the church, which has been knee-capped by the Elites, is supposed to be doing that. Since when does the Constitution provide that our armed forces which were supposed to be protecting this huge country conveniently bounded by two of the largest oceans in the world out to defeat threats that MAY result in conflict? Oh, and is the US Military is also supposed to be getting the populations of the world ready to accept foreign governments? Geez, if that doesn't radicalize Muslims, I don't know what will! This is the nanny state on steroids, it will control your life cradle to grave not just in America, but the WORLD!! Ha ha, hee, hee, ho, ho, to the funny farm we go! That's just the first paragraph.

I Am Not a Hippie!!!

Listen to a Vet tell his story :

h/t Daily Paul
The bottom line: a specific mission, win the war, and come home to the USA!

Zak's long story is found here at Combat Veterans for Ron Paul. The best part is the last part:

Why are we the worlds policeman when our own country is being openly violated? Why are we borrowing money hand over fist from nations not exactly our friends, just to spend it on our out of control foreign policy? I am starting to feel like the powers that be do not have America’s interests in mind at all. It’s starting to feel like our ruin is their objective. From our factories closing and moving overseas, to the plunging value of our dollar, America is crumbling. Yet I love her far to much to watch her fall apart.
This is why I am taking my personal revolution and joining for forces with Dr. Ron Paul’s revolution. His “bring all the troops home” non-intervention foreign policy and plans to put America first again are just what we need at this time in our history. I don’t expect you to agree with everything he says, but I do hope we can all put our differences aside and join him in seeing that ALL the troops come home, the Republic is restored and America saved. Thank you and God Bless.

The Bonus Army

Listen to the Octogenerian explain the history of the Bonus Army, World War I veterans who were promised a bonus by the USG. Often, the USG lies and short-shrifts. The Bonus Army was the original veteran march on Washington. Of course they called them commies and other names. That's what being a patriot gets you these last 100 years, generally it gets you called nuts. That piece of paper called the Constitution is all in you head, etc.

I can't wait until we get to this period in the presidency of FDR in my book-blogging series, Wall Street and FDR, to see if and how the Bonus Army incident was mentioned..

Update: Be sure to check out the veteran protest today at this link Because when the foreign policy get sooo crazy, somebody's gotta say somthin'!!

The Cafeteria Catholic

Picking and choosing what to believe and practice is what the majority of Christians do. We're limited by our flesh and cannot perfectly conform to God's standard, the Law of the Ten Commandments. Thankfully, He sent His Son to pay for this and promises to heal the world one day. Meanwhile, sincere Christians work through a process of conviction through our sins. I'm pleased that I'm not the person I was five or ten years ago because the Lord has grown me spiritually though the working of the Holy Spirit in conjunction with the trials of life. And for the record, I'm not a Catholic, but a Baptist who reads her KJV straight up with the kids everyday, well, almost everyday. But the Catholics have got their catechism down, and Jack Hunter couldn't help but notice that Mr. Santorum had not taken notice of what the Pope and centuries of Catholic teaching regarding war.

The Constitution is NOT Dangerous

unless you're a collectivist bankster of course. In this clip Doug Wead schools a talking head on what is really absurd: borrowing from China to pay the military to be stationed in Austrailia to protect us from China. Oceania has always been at war with East Asia you know...
This post would be remiss without a little commentary from everyone's favorite "Rockefeller man", Henry Kissinger: The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer. ---New York Times, Oct. 28, 1973

Ex-Marine and CIA Agent SLAMS Santorum

You know they've been fighting "over there", but it is so refreshing to hear them defend the Constitution here. Here is Michael Steele telling Santorum : "America needs people that tell the truth, and Senator Santorum, you're not one of them." ouchie wouchie

Nick Allison Calls out the Newtster

Oh my is this soooo delicously good. If you like a good smackdown, check out this no-hold bar post from Veteran Nick:
by Nick Allison, U.S. Army Veteran

As the corporate media ramps up its frenzied, panicked campaign against Ron Paul and his supporters, long-shot Presidential candidate and life-long blowhard Newt Gingrich has decided to open his mouth and firmly insert his foot by insulting many of America’s military veterans. Probably a bad move. Just ask Dick Morris. The veterans and active-duty military personnel who support Ron Paul are not the people you want to insult.
Just last week Dick Morris made an ass of himself by claiming that “no true patriot could support Ron Paul.” The comment infuriated veterans across the country who support Dr. Paul and didn’t appreciate being labeled unpatriotic by a chicken-hawk draft-dodger such as Dick. A letter writing campaign was launched by cvrp2012.com and the results were brutal. While CVRP forwarded the letters from veterans to Morris’ inbox we have yet to receive a response or an apology from Mr. Morris.
Now, another chicken-hawk has volunteered himself as a target, so to speak. On CNN’s “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer,” Mr. Gingrich had this to say: “I think Ron Paul’s views are totally outside the mainstream of virtually every decent American.”Here we go again.

Mr. Gingrich, have you lost your damn mind? Ron Paul has more support among members of the military than any other candidate. In fact, he has more military support than all the other Republican candidates combined. By far.You have just indirectly attacked many of the people who serve, and have served, this country with your idiotic remarks. You claim that we are indecent because we support Ron Paul, a fellow veteran, and the only candidate running for President who actually supports and defends the Constitution. The only candidate who actually has a strong conservative record of protecting civil liberties. The only candidate who wishes to use our military for its intended purpose- the defense of our nation- rather than flying us around the world defending corporate interests.
You should be ashamed of yourself, Newt.
Do you know what I find to be indecent? I’ll be happy to share:
•A cowardly chicken-hawk, such as yourself, who never served in the military and avoided being drafted during the Vietnam Conflict, yet seems almost giddy with the prospect of sending my brothers to die in an unnecessary war with Iran and God knows who else.
•A serial adulterer, such as yourself, who now stands conceitedly at a podium and touts family values and loyalty.
•A lobbyist, such as yourself, who made vast sums of money from drug companies and government sponsored enterprises such as Freddie and Fannie and then went on national television and blatantly lied about it to the American people.
The list goes on, but unlike you, Newt, I have a real job to get back to.
In closing I would like to say that we, the growing number of war veterans and active-duty military personnel, as well as the millions of civilians who support Ron Paul for president don’t appreciate being labeled indecent by the Champion of Indecency himself.
While Newt is certainly entitled to his opinion, I’m not quite sure how attacking a large segment of the military is supposed to help his campaign. All publicity is good publicity? Perhaps. I’m sure he will get plenty of it.
On a personal note, I don’t really give a damn about being labeled indecent, unpatriotic or anything else for that matter. Perhaps I am indecent. My tendency to pepper my speech with expletives (like most Infantrymen) may be considered indecent by many.
I just don’t appreciate it when the labeling is done by a hypocrite and a coward such as Newt Gingrich. This warmongering politician has painted a large part of the military with his broad brush of stupidity and ignorance.
Stand by for the barrage of written statements by veterans that is sure to follow. You made this bed, Newt. And now you must sleep in it.
That is all, Sir. You may now go back to doing what you do best: looking smug, spewing pseudo-intellectual bullshit and attempting in vain to defend your horrible voting record and your reluctance to serve in your own dirty little war.

Disclaimer: As always, CVRP doesn’t claim to speak for all veterans. But we do speak for a large and ever-growing number of vets and active-duty troops who are tired of the lies and business-as-usual politics of the Washington élite.

Nick Allison served as a squad leader with 1-21 IN, 25th ID, US Army from 2001-2005, including a 14 month combat tour in Northern Iraq. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife, son and two dogs.

I highly urge you to check out Combat Veterans for Ron Paul, no other candidate has a grassroots site like it!

Vanguard - Manufacturing Your Doom

If you haven't checked out CL's great and informative post on remote control drone killing, you need to read it now. I'm providing this as a supplemental post to that so that we may better understand the players. This whole thing reminds me of a Star Trek episode. Actually, a lot of what we see today reminds me of various sci fi scenarios. But the one I'm think of today is the notorious "Bearded Spock" episode where Miss Hot Pants tells a confused Kirk he can be rid of Bearded Spock with the push of a little bitty button. Goodbye opposition, we'll be sure to tell everyone what a horrible "threat" you were so you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you were a worthy opponent.

John Quincy Adams Warned Us

An excellent piece by Jacob Hornberger- I can't add to it, but it reiterates what I've been writing about for some time:

In a Fourth of July message to Congress, John Quincy Adams suggested that if America were ever to embrace the principles of empire and militarism, she would become a dictatress of the world. What better evidence of Adams’ wisdom than President Obama’s assassination of American citizen Anwar al-Awlaki, a state-sanctioned murder, one without any judicial process whatsoever?

Look at what an interventionist and imperialist foreign policy has wrought: a perpetual threat of terrorist attacks, which has been the government’s excuse for assuming extraordinary emergency powers — the same powers that many of the brutal U.S.-supported dictators in the Middle East wield: arbitrary arrests, kidnappings, indefinite detention, rendition, torture, kangaroo tribunals, and assassination.

After the 9/11 attacks, statists cheered the assumption of these extraordinary emergency powers, naively believing that they would be exercised only against foreigners. But President Bush, whose CIA assassinated an American travelling in Yemen in 2002, always made it clear that these emergency powers extended to Americans. President Obama’s assassination of al-Awlaki is another reminder for the American people—that the U.S. government wields the post-9/11 power to kill its own people without any due process of law or judicial interference. It is a power, of course, that dictators throughout history have wielded.

read the whole thing.

If you do, you get clued into a little-known op-ed Pres. Truman did on the CIA,  He admitted that the spooks were getting spooky. The ghosts of history are crying out to us. When will we stop parroting talking points to each other and actually listen?

Obama, Shariah Law, and the Bigger Picture

So I was thumbing through Jerome Corsi's book "Where's the Birth Certificate?" and I get to this one part that really got me thinking. The section title read "Obama Spent Millions to get Kenya's New Constitution Ratified" and I was wondering what was all that about and you could have knocked me over with a feather. A group of Republican congressman has revealed that...

Navy - A Force for Global Good

Here's a screen shot of the current U.S. Navy website. In case you're one of those old-timers who think that the armed forces should be used to "defend" the United States and not the entire world.

I feel like I'm living in a horrible sci-fi movie and can't change the channel. If you're new to this site, or wondering where I'm going with this, check out my disarmament post here. Also consider what we've been studying concerning the money changers that run the Federal Reserve, the IMF, and the Bank of International Settlements. With their counterfeit money, they've been able to build up this military with the support of the American people who live under the delusion that their military is going to protect them from tyranny. Meanwhile, Mexican gangs armed by that same United States Government wreak havoc on the Southwestern US. There's a reason why Jesus Christ went ape on the money changers and there's a reason that the Bible gives us hope with the following verse:
And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

-Micah 4:3
Learning war is an active phrase I gleaned there. If you've been following my Wall St. and Bolshevik series, we're learning that certain events were set into motion. It would not at all surprise me to further learn that certain persons have been "learning" how to keep war going as it is the most profitable business in the history of the world.

Anyway, let's cheer up!

Joint Chiefs of Staff

Curious to see the connections between our armament industry and our top military brass, I made a map entitled Joint Chiefs of Staff. You will have to probably click on the link and explore the map further. I have little snarky comments and quotes on there to further flesh out these connections. If you haven't read General Butler's War is a Racket, I strongly urge you to do so if you wish to understand why the defense budget accounts for such a huge of the US government's debt burden. Doesn't it seem like a huge conflict of interest when those advising on war declarations (as if we have those antiquated things anymore) stand to profit enormously from war? Just sayin'

John Wheeler III - What happened?

Here's the run-down on Mr. Wheeler:
  • Veitnam Veteran, West Point Grad
  • Worked under Reagan to get the Vietnam Veterans Leadership Program
  • Worked under Bush Sr. creating the Earth Conservation Corps for poor kids
  • authored 1st Biological and Chemical Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual
  • on the Red Integrated Strategic Operational Plan Team to test the Single Integrated Operational Plan
  • Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund
  • Chairman and CEO of M.A.D.D.
  • Special Counsel to the Chairman and CEO for the turnaround of Macy's
  • helped launch the Jed Foundation, Support our Aging Religious, and helping deaf children get cochlear implants
  • Has a law degree from Yale 1975
  • defense contractor and trustee of the Mitre Corporation
  • possessed the highest level of security clearences
  • was found wandering around and "out of it" two days before his body was found in a landfill.
Bio info from Cryptogon, which has been blocked in the UK, by the way. The Mitre Corporation, which has contracts with the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the IRS, and the FAA.

From the WSJ
Wheeler’s house in New Castle was dark Monday night and no one answered the door. Yellow police evidence tape was stretched across two wooden chairs in the kitchen, where several wooden floorboards were missing.”

So here's what I did for the MITRE Corporation, who possesses the very first .org domain name, given in 1985.

So you've got to wonder what was he working on and/or who did he upset? Unlike many people, I won't speculate, because I don't have enough information to form an opinion. We only have just a few of the puzzle pieces. Is there anyone who is a military-industrial complex buff who has a better clue as to what happened with poor Mr. Wheeler?

The Third World War

No, I'm not talking about World War III, I'm talking about the illegal, unconstitutional, immoral, and secretive operations carried out in our name as Americans. Most Americans have absolutely no clue what is really going on behind the scenes with our foreign policy and the flow of money through the military-industrial complex, which eats a huge share of our federal budget each year. If you even suggest of cutting any part of it, you're accused of hating the troops. Well, honeychild, the troops aren't getting that money now, and it shouldn't be a thought crime to wonder where the trillions of dollars have gone.

Here is a video that puts pictures to excepts from a John Stockwell lecture. He was one of the first of the CIA agents to come out and tell it like he saw it. He was in charge of the Angola Task Force, which is where the military/industrial complex went to directly after Vietnam. You see, they fear a break in the action. They use fear to further their own profit motives. . The underwear bomber and the scanners is a classic example. They create the problem by having an agent escort a man who has spent the requisite amount of time in an Al-Qaeda camp to establish his terrorist bona fides onto an airplane. His pants explode.  Solution: We'll scan or feel up everyone's naked bodies so that this doesn't happen again. Never mind the fact the powder wasn't dense enough to be detected, Rapiscan has to make some money for its parent company, OSI systsems, which is partially owned by George Soros, but I digress.

Throughout the last several decades, when it comes to foreign policy, it has been Dictator X is a communist. We say so. We don't want more communist countries, so we'll have to get rid of him and replace him with a democratic government. Looking back, we see that the governments overturned were not outright communists, except for maybe Cuba and it's still there. How about that? We also see that the people the US government put in as examples of democratic governments were anything but. They were often just as brutal, if not more so, than the preceding regime.

One thing I've learned from all this is that screwing America over is a nonpartisan endeavor. The agenda marches forward regardless of party. There have been very few in government who have stood up for the actual Constitution as written and intended. Wherever these braves souls have spoken up, they have been vilified and some have met with a premature demise.

Anyhow, here's a fun little video that takes excerpts from a John Stockwell lecture given in the 1980s. What he says has more meaning for us today than those attending his lecture 20 years ago.

Why Are 7,000 Marines and 46 Warships Going to Costa Rica?

Costa Rica ranks high in the international rankings set forth by that preeminant global body, the UN.

According to Scott Oliver at We Love Costa Rica.com:

On the 2nd July 2010 the Costa Rica Congress authorized the entry of 46 U.S. warships capable of carrying 200 helicopters and warplanes, plus 7,000 U.S. Marines "who may circulate the country in uniform without any restrictions", plus submarine killer ships to the Costa Rican coast for "anti-narcotics operations and humanitarian missions' between 1st July 2010 until 31st December 2010.
Thing is, Costa Rica doesn't  have a huge drug problem compared to other Latin American countries.  It seems like a pretty lame pretext to me. Any ideas as to what's up with this?

Are We Reaching the End of Stage Three?

What is stage three, you ask? You obviously haven't read State Department Publication 7727.
Upon the release of this booklet, the Los Angeles Times March 31, 1962 issue had the following graphic on the front page to describe this policy:

(This graphic was found at the Second Amendment Committee.)
What does this bring to my mind? The massive wave of military base closures in the early '90s. It actually began in 1988, before the Soviet Union collapsed, and was known as Base Realignment and Closure (or BRAC).
If you're a dinosaur and believe the purpose of a standing army is to protect the nation it serves, you might wonder why we don't have forts and installations all around our borders as we used to. You might also wonder why we have over 900 military installations around the world, yet can't secure our own southern border. When you consider who makes up the bulk of these UN "peacekeeping missions", it makes you wonder who is really calling the shots.

From Publication 7277:
States would retain only those forces, non-nuclear armaments, and establishments required for the purpose of maintaining internal order; they would also support and provide agreed manpower for a U.N. Peace Force.

Abraham Lincoln once said:
"Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step over the ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! -- All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a Thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
I realize that military realities have changed over the years, and some of the base closures represent that fact. However, it would seem that our borders are truly unprotected and neither a Republican or Democrat president for over 50 years seems to have "given a rip about it" to quote one famous Alabaman. But are our military forces being groomed to be UN peacekeepers and not defenders of the Republic? If all the members of the UN were to reduce their armies and contribute to UN military forces, what would that mean for us? As you know, Communist China is a member of the UN; will they lend the UN their 200 million men army to squash opposition to our peaceful overlords when we cry out over the abolishment of sovereignty? The UN says they want a peaceful world, but heed the words of Brother Paul:
While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.
-I Thess. 5:3
Here is the first in a Youtube series of a lecture given by G. Edward Griffin back in 1968 entitled "The Grand Design". It gives insight into the thinking process behind State Department Publication 7277: Freedom from War.

John Christian Rhys has more information on the Freedom from War publication:

The federal government's war on the 2nd Amendment, blamed on Bill Clinton by most diehard right-of-center conservatives, actually began during the presidency of John F. Kennedy, shortly after the abortive Bay of Pigs fiasco. The game plan, known as State Department Publication 7277, was entitled Freedom from War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World.

While most Americans today are aware of the fact that Publication 7277 called for the gradual transfer of all American military assets—men and machines—to the United Nations (which is forbidden by its charter from fielding an army), most people don't know that 7277 also detailed plans for the global disarming of private citizens as well. It would not bode well for the utopians to disarm the governments of the world and leave their people armed to the teeth.

The authors of the Kennedy plan—or rather, the Council on Foreign Relations plan since that is where the disarmament agenda was born—were CFR members Dean Rusk, Kennedy's Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and presidential advisors John McCloy and Robert Lovett. McCloy would be appointed to head the newly created US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency the following year. Lovett was offered his choice of cabinet positions in the Kennedy Administration and reportedly turned all of them down. He preferred the role of invisible advisor. In that capacity, Lovett handpicked most of those who became the inner circle of both the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations. Banning the private ownership of guns in America became the unspoken agenda of Congress even though since 1968 legislators on both sides of the aisle insisted that their intent was never to ban the private ownership of guns but simply to regulate them to make sure that guns didn't get in the hands of criminals
