Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Mosab Yousef Granted Asylum!

Thanks to Maggie's Notebook, Bob Belvedere, and The Lonely Conservative for power-blogging the attempt by Homeland Security to send this brother to a certain doom. The AP reports that Homeland Security dropped their deportation case with no further explanation. Thanks to all who contacted their Congressmen and Senators and Homeland Security! Thanks to all who took time to pray for God's favor.

Bloggers are the New Intelligence Experts?

I'm an intelligence minutewoman! Who knew?

This is Robert Steele, former CIA, with some interesting comments. Warning, a couple of 4 letter words, which are well-placed, however.

Meet Your Elites: Henry Kissinger.

The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer.
---New York Times, Oct. 28, 1973

It cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change its perceptions.
--World Affairs Council Press Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel, 19 April 1994

"The ultimate challenge is to shape the common concern of most countries and all major ones regarding the economic crisis, together with a common fear of jihadist terrorism, into a common strategy reinforced by the realization that the new issues like proliferation, energy and climate change permit no national or regional solution."
-- Henry Kissinger - op ed piece for the International Herald Tribune - January 12th, 2009

Emphasis is mine - These issues will be used as a pretext for the elimination of national sovereignty.

"The next 15 years may well be the age of super-terrorism, when they [the Islamic terrorist (ed)] gain access to weapons of mass destruction and show a new willingness to use them . . . . Terrorists in the early years of the twenty-first century will reflect the causes that excite passion and move people to violence . . . conflict will increase until a new stasis or 'world order' is established."
-- "The Futurist" magazine, November-December 1994 issue, in an article titled "The Future Face of Terrorism" (Article co-authored with Mervin J. Cetron.)

Meet Your Elites: Jessica Tuchman Matthews

Mrs. Matthews is the president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. She is the daughter of Pulitzer prize winning Barbara Tuchman, who was the granddaughter of Henry Morgenthau Sr., Woodrow Wilson's Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire.

Here is Jessica Matthews' official bio from the Carnegie Endowment:
Jessica Tuchman Mathews was appointed president of the Endowment in 1997. Her career includes posts in the executive and legislative branches of government, in management and research in the nonprofit arena, and in journalism.
She was a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations from 1993 to 1997 and served as director of the Council’s Washington program. While there, she published her seminal 1997 Foreign Affairs article, “Power Shift,” chosen by the editors as one of the most influential in the journal’s 75 years.
From 1982 to 1993, she was founding vice president and director of research of the World Resources Institute, an internationally known center for policy research on environmental and natural-resource management issues
She served on the editorial board of the Washington Post from 1980 to 1982, covering energy, environment, science, technology, arms control, health, and other issues. Later, she became a weekly columnist for the Washington Post, writing a column that appeared nationwide and in the International Herald Tribune.
From 1977 to 1979, she was director of the Office of Global Issues of the National Security Council, covering nuclear proliferation, conventional arms sales policy, chemical and biological warfare, and human rights. In 1993, she returned to government as deputy to the Undersecretary of State for Global Affairs.
Mathews is a director of Somalogic Inc., HanesBrands Inc., and the Union of Concerned Scientists, and a trustee of the Nuclear Threat Initiative and the International Crisis Group. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Philosophical Society. She has previously served on the boards of the Brookings Institution, Radcliffe College, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Century Foundation, the Surface Transportation Policy Project, and the Joyce Foundation, among others.
 From Wikipedia (I'm so slackin'):

Her husband is former Air Force General Charles G. Boyd, president of the public interest group Business Executives for National Security.

BTW, why is her last name Matthews if her husband's name is Boyd? Must of been a previous marriage not talked about. Hmm. Yes, I know, I'm sooo conventional.

Anyway, both her and her husband are attendees to the Bilderburg Conference, and with all that they're involved in, it shouldn't be surprising. Mrs. Matthews is also a member of the Trilateral Commission, which is a NGO that "fosters discussion of issues between the Americas, Europe, and Asia".

If you want to know what the establishment has planned for us, I suggest you read Mrs. Matthews' essay, Power Shift, written 13 years ago.  Let's just say that the sovereignty of nations is not the theme. In fact, she refers to nations as states, so I guess our 50 states are really just counties in her mind.

Well, if a picture is worth a thousand words, behold the Jessica Tuchman Matthews map:

Are We Reaching the End of Stage Three?

What is stage three, you ask? You obviously haven't read State Department Publication 7727.
Upon the release of this booklet, the Los Angeles Times March 31, 1962 issue had the following graphic on the front page to describe this policy:

(This graphic was found at the Second Amendment Committee.)
What does this bring to my mind? The massive wave of military base closures in the early '90s. It actually began in 1988, before the Soviet Union collapsed, and was known as Base Realignment and Closure (or BRAC).
If you're a dinosaur and believe the purpose of a standing army is to protect the nation it serves, you might wonder why we don't have forts and installations all around our borders as we used to. You might also wonder why we have over 900 military installations around the world, yet can't secure our own southern border. When you consider who makes up the bulk of these UN "peacekeeping missions", it makes you wonder who is really calling the shots.

From Publication 7277:
States would retain only those forces, non-nuclear armaments, and establishments required for the purpose of maintaining internal order; they would also support and provide agreed manpower for a U.N. Peace Force.

Abraham Lincoln once said:
"Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant, to step over the ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! -- All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a Thousand years. At what point, then, is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
I realize that military realities have changed over the years, and some of the base closures represent that fact. However, it would seem that our borders are truly unprotected and neither a Republican or Democrat president for over 50 years seems to have "given a rip about it" to quote one famous Alabaman. But are our military forces being groomed to be UN peacekeepers and not defenders of the Republic? If all the members of the UN were to reduce their armies and contribute to UN military forces, what would that mean for us? As you know, Communist China is a member of the UN; will they lend the UN their 200 million men army to squash opposition to our peaceful overlords when we cry out over the abolishment of sovereignty? The UN says they want a peaceful world, but heed the words of Brother Paul:
While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape.
-I Thess. 5:3
Here is the first in a Youtube series of a lecture given by G. Edward Griffin back in 1968 entitled "The Grand Design". It gives insight into the thinking process behind State Department Publication 7277: Freedom from War.

John Christian Rhys has more information on the Freedom from War publication:

The federal government's war on the 2nd Amendment, blamed on Bill Clinton by most diehard right-of-center conservatives, actually began during the presidency of John F. Kennedy, shortly after the abortive Bay of Pigs fiasco. The game plan, known as State Department Publication 7277, was entitled Freedom from War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World.

While most Americans today are aware of the fact that Publication 7277 called for the gradual transfer of all American military assets—men and machines—to the United Nations (which is forbidden by its charter from fielding an army), most people don't know that 7277 also detailed plans for the global disarming of private citizens as well. It would not bode well for the utopians to disarm the governments of the world and leave their people armed to the teeth.

The authors of the Kennedy plan—or rather, the Council on Foreign Relations plan since that is where the disarmament agenda was born—were CFR members Dean Rusk, Kennedy's Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara and presidential advisors John McCloy and Robert Lovett. McCloy would be appointed to head the newly created US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency the following year. Lovett was offered his choice of cabinet positions in the Kennedy Administration and reportedly turned all of them down. He preferred the role of invisible advisor. In that capacity, Lovett handpicked most of those who became the inner circle of both the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations. Banning the private ownership of guns in America became the unspoken agenda of Congress even though since 1968 legislators on both sides of the aisle insisted that their intent was never to ban the private ownership of guns but simply to regulate them to make sure that guns didn't get in the hands of criminals

My Valerie Jarrett Map

My New Toy

I have found a new toy online that is a lot of fun to play with. It's called the National Names Database, and you can find the link on by roll under "eclectic stops". It allows you to map out the connections between members of the boards of large corporations, politicians, and big "charitable" foundations, etc.  I haven't figured out how to do screen shots yet, but here is a link to the pre-made map "conspiracy", which connects the Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, and the World Economic Forum.

This database works by putting in a name and it gives you a brief profile of the person and a listing of all the organizations that they belong to. I'm finding it's quite interesting to see who's who on the board of these big corporations and how they overlap greatly with policy makers and politicians.

Update: I found a way to get the image - I just noticed they have a jpeg link:

Interesting Coincindence

From World Net Daily:

How Far We Have Fallen

Check out this Constitution Test from 1954. It has 100 questions and was given in the eighth grade. If it were given today, most of the parents would howl that it's too hard and that they never had to do anything that hard when they were in school. It's like I said in a recent post, this stuff was deliberately scrubbed from the curriculum so slowly that nobody really noticed. If you want to see how much people were dumbed down in the 1950s from the turn of the century, you can always peruse the famous exit exam from 8th grade given in 1895 in Salina, Kansas, you know, one of those podunk towns where no one wears shoes or can write their names. (The establishment that gave us modern public schooling would have us believing such things.)

How often do you hear, "he never finished eighth grade" in as sympathetic way when referring to an ancestor or elderly person. It's probably because the eighth grade education of 60 years ago is superior to what many high school seniors are graduating with today.

Plans are underway to replace community, family, and church with propaganda, education, and mass media....the State shakes loose from Church, reaches out to School.... People are only little plastic lumps of human dough.

Demoralization of Structures: Foreign Policy

If you replace the word communist with socialist or collectivist, you can update the following quotes from Yuri. If you replace the USSR with the UN and other "do-gooder" globalist organizations that always call for America to make concessions, such as in Kyoto, but not anyone else, you still can get the same demoralizing effect.
There are hundreds of volumes written about the ways Communists use foreign relations for their purposes. There are NONE which reveal the link between the failures of American diplomacy and the process of demoralization. From time to time defectors from the Communist side, such as Arkady Shevchenko, the USSR representative in the UN, give breath-taking accounts on how the Communists are using 'diplomacy' for subversion. And yet all the crowds of “experts” and “kremlinologists” are seemingly unable to put the pieces together and to raise their voices AGAINST dealing with the Communists in a 'diplomatic' way.

Many public figures have noted that most or Americans do not want to hear unpleasant things. Politicians in the USA know this. So does the KGB. Every American administration has contributed to the process of DEMORALIZATION of their own foreign policy by continuously negotiating and SIGNING "peace treaties.” From the "Lend Lease" to the "Helsinki Accord" to the "SALT" treaties, creating false expectations and voter complacency and NEVER openly and honestly admitting that NONE of those: agreements and treaties EVER WORKED-- for America that is-- They ALL benefited the USSR however. In the process America has lost MOST or her foreign friends to the 'Socialist camp'-- Concentration camp, to he precise. Presently the USA is rapidly nearing a situation of TOTAL ISOLATION from the rest or the world. Even our long-time: friend Great Britain did not support America, even verbally, on the liberation of Grenada, despite the obvious fact that America was on the British side in the ridiculous war over the Falkland Islands.
What could be more amoral than the 'peace with honor' signed by Kissinger with Hanoi Communists? -- ask the Vietnamese 'boat people.’ When someone makes a deal with a murderer we call him 'accomplice in crime,’ we don't award him with 'Nobel Peace Prize.’ Or do we? What should we call this kind of foreign policy which is both amoral AND hurts America?
Good question. What should we think when our "leaders" are signing foreign treaties that hurt the country they claim to represent. I would speculate that either they are uneducated or that they do not truly represent the interests of our country.

All Yuri Bezmenov quotes come from his pamphlet, "Love Letter to America" via the Useless Dissident.

The Purpose of Government Education

Here is Brannon Howse schooling you on the humanistic government school system. He even tells us that our own dear Senator Lamar Alexander says the book"A God Within" by Rene Dobos greatly influenced his thinking. This book says we evolved from "Our Mother Earth". Lamar was the Secretary of Education under George HW Bush.

SAVE MOSAB YOUSEF - HE'S YOUR FRIEND!

Maggie's Notebook illustrates the Courage of Mosab. Now is the time to contact Homeland Security, your Congressman, and Senators about this outrage. Save Mosab Yousef devoted to supporting our brother in Christ. Check out Yousef's own page, Son of Hamas for inspiring videos and much more!

The Other McCain reports on ominous developments in the Gerald Walpin saga. Now the whole country can experience a "Southern Cooking" in the courtroom!

Another Black Conservative has an angle on the whole suing Arizona for following the law thing.

Bread Upon the Waters has the latest on Obama Oil Incompetence.

Meanwhile, The Lonely Conservative has video of our President hard at work.

Washington Rebel takes Peggy Noonan to the woodshed over her ditsy "snakebit" essay.

Well, it would seem our world is rapidly descending out of control, exactly as prophesied by the Lord Jesus.
Nobody can say it like the Statesman Quartet:
(There is a better version, but I can't find it.)

I've told all my troubles goodbye,
Goodbye to each tear and each sigh.
This world where I roam cannot be my home,
I'm bound for that home in the sky.
I walk and I talk with my Lord,
I feast every day on His word,
Heaven is near and I can't stay here
Goodbye world, goodbye.

I won't have the blues anymore
When I step across to that shore.
And I'll never pine for I'll leave behind
My heartaches and cares ever more.
A day maybe two then goodbye,
Goodbye to each sorrow and sigh.
Heaven is near and I can't stay here,
Goodbye world, goodbye.

Now don't you weep for me when I'm gone
For I won't have to leave here alone.
And when I hear that last trumpet sound
My feet won't stay on the ground.
I'm gonna rise with a shout, gonna fly,
Gonna rise with my Lord in the sky.
Heaven is near and I can't stay here,
Goodbye world, goodbye.

Demoralization of Structures: Internal Politics

Gee, there's not a lot more to add to the title of this post. The internal politics of this country, for, oh the past 150 years has been like a giant sports competition. The most unsettling part of our "spirit of party" is how there is no unity on the true values of what this republic stands for. I don't care whether you're a Democrat or Republican, I don't hear a lot about National Sovereignty, our joke of a financial system that prints money out of thin air, or the sanctity of the individual. Both parties ignore or soft-pedal these crucial issues to the destruction of the last vestiges of a Constitutional Republic. Many used to consider the Republican party to be the one to stand up against collectivism, but the Tea Party Movement has drawn attention to fact that RINOs are no mythical creature and have to be voted out of office. Yuri didn't comment on this subject, but did say on his Subversion Chart, that the result was disunity. I guess passing an unpopular health care bill on a Saturday against the clamoring throngs of protesters would count as disunity.

We need to have a since of unity that focuses on the Constitution as written, not the imaginary "living document" Constitution. The biggest way to accomplish this is through mass education that bypasses our media overlords. We need to get right with God so that we would acknowledge His blessings. He's not going to give us a pass just because we live in a country with rulers who are against Him; He's used to that. The one thing our liberal overlords (of both parties) fear the most is that we won't trust them to give us peace and safety. They feed on fear.

1 John 4:18
There is no
fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Hebrews 13:6
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Reece Committee Findings Explain Current Political and Cultural Landscape

This is an excerpt from the Reece Committee of 1954 which investigated tax-exempt foundations, particularly the Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford Foundations. These groups were not required to pay income tax, and used their large fortunes to fund grants and programs. The following except is just a sampling - the tip of the iceberg. This rabbit hole goes down a long way!

(double-click to enlarge)

Is it no wonder that our educational system is Anti-American? It was designed to be that way.

Parts of this document are available from American Deception for free, other parts are behind a pay wall. If you can afford it, it would be well worth it to download before Lieberman and Jay Rockefeller scrub stuff like this off the internet.

(Sorry about the small print, just trying to get it all on there.)

BP - The Spill and the Carbon Tax

Here's a great post at Offmyfrontportch that has a lot of good links to articles about BP writing the legislation and policy for Cap & Trade Tax. I would guess that they embarked on this before God made it snow on Algore's Climate Summits and the East Anglia emails exposing AGW as a fraud were released. The powers that be, whoever they are, have seemed to be obsessed with the ludicrous idea that humans can influence and even destroy the earth. It is a major policy item in just about every major corporation, government entity, and global non-governmental organization.

I would now like to profile the previous CEO of British Petroleum, John Browne. He served as CEO of BP from 1995-2007. He is the one who coined the phrase "Beyond Petroleum".

From MIT's Sloan School of Management
Lord Browne has turned a good many heads with his activism, achieving exactly what he set out to do — focus a global spotlight on the dangers of climate change. Fortune Magazine and CNN are just two of many media outlets that have put his warnings front and center. And Browne has written articles in such influential journals as Foreign Affairs, published by the Council on Foreign Relations.

His case is this: The world must reduce carbon emissions by seven gigatons — 7 billion tons — a year. That's a massive amount if you consider that individually any of the following would eliminate only a single gigaton:

        * Replacing fossil-fuel-burning power plants with 700 nuclear stations
        * Increasing the use of solar power by a factor of 700
        * Ceasing deforestation and doubling reforestation

If all three of these alternatives were accomplished, along with four more large-scale reallocations of capital and infrastructure, says Browne, the world would stabilize its carbon emissions. Unfortunately, he says, stabilizing emissions might not, at this late date, stop global warming.

Browne says that nations cannot afford to be paralyzed by the limitations of the Kyoto Protocol, the U.N. agreement to cut carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. They must mobilize and start implementing solutions — immediately. He believes that any forward movement will take us closer to our goals. And if we expect the planet to survive, he warns, we must make every attempt to implement any changes we can.

John Brown was recently a member of the Board of Goldman Sachs (1999-2007), who if I recall, was heavily involved in writing the financial reform legislation recently passed. He is also known to have attended the Bilderburg Conference several times. I just want to know, as a citizen, who is writing the laws in our country? It is most obviously not our elected officials. Its seems to be they're being handed a stack of papers and being told how to vote on it. True reform is not going to happen in our country until we find the root of the problem and start asking the right questions. Why do the heads of multinational corporations, the United Nations, and the worldwide financial players  seem to have vested interest in lowering the standard of living for everyone under the guise of environmentalism? What to they seek to gain?  I could point out that regarding Kyoto, China and India were not required to meet the carbon quotas that the United States were, despite that these two nations are the biggest polluters on the planet! It's obviously not about the environment, but about power.

So we have this horrible oil spill that defies explanation. The President refuses to take control of the situation by sending in the Coast Guard to supervise putting down boom containment in the early days of the spill. Even the liberal media are watching astonished at the incompetence of their beloved President. Everyone knows that something here just doesn't add up. On David Horiwitz's NewsRealBlog, there's a rundown of Goldman Sachs former employees, highlighted by Glenn Beck,  who are all in the Obama administraion:

Beck noted that: William C. Dudley, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, was a partner and managing director at Goldman; Gary Gensler, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, spent 18 years at Goldman; Mark Patterson, chief of staff to Tim Geithner, is a former Goldman lobbyist; Philip Murphy, nominated for ambassador to Germany, is a former Goldman executive; Diana Farrell, deputy director of the National Economic Council, is a former Goldman employee; and Emil Michael, White House fellow, used to be an investment banker at Goldman.
With so many Goldman alumni in the Obama administration, “if Goldman really are the bad guys, we have bigger problems than just regulation,” Beck said.
I'm not saying that Goldman has anything to do with the spill, but I'm saying that this is a clear precedent that a private entity can be influential, if not instrumental, in writing legislation that winds up being the law of our land. Are the "powers that be" trying to use this crisis to revamp the need to tax control energy, thus controlling the people? Time will tell.

The Greatest Subversive Plot in History

Here are the remarks of the Hon. John T Wood of Idaho in the 81st Congress on Thursday, October 18, 1951:

Mr. Speaker, I am herewith appending an article published by the American Flag Committee... bearing the title “A Report to the American People on UNESCO.” Just how careless and unthinking can we be that we permit this band of spies and traitors to exist another day in this land we all love? Are there no limits to our callousness and neglect of palpable and evident treason stalking rampant through our land, warping the minds and imaginations of even our little children, to the lying propaganda and palpable untruths we allow to be fed to them through this monstrous poison?...
UNESCO’s scheme to pervert public education appears in a series of nine volumes, titled Toward World Understanding which presume to instruct kindergarten and elementary grade teachers in the fine art of preparing our youngsters for the day when their first loyalty will be to a world government, of which the United States will form but an administrative part....
The program is quite specific. The teacher is to begin by eliminating any and all words, phrases, descriptions, pictures, maps, classroom material or teaching methods of a sort causing his pupils to feel or express a particular love for, or loyalty to, the United States of America. Children exhibiting such prejudice as a result of prior home influence—UNESCO calls it the outgrowth of the narrow family spirit—are to be dealt an abundant measure of counter propaganda at the earliest possible age. Booklet V, on page 9, advises the teacher that:

The kindergarten or infant school has a significant part to play in the child’s education. Not only can it correct many of the errors of home training, but it can also prepare the child for membership, at about the age of seven, in a group of his own age and habits—the first of many such social identifications that he must achieve on his way to membership in the world society.

Rule 5 Sunday

The most important freedom action item right now is saving Mosab Yoseuf from deportation by our myopic, juvenile, insipid, unconstitutional, useless, arrogant, jealous redundant Department of Homeland Security. Learn about it at Caught Him with a Corndog, Camp of the Saints, The Lonely Conservative, Maggie's Notebook, and hopefully all righteous blogs everywhere. Check it out on Son of Hamas.

Bread Upon the Waters tells us how to go about paving the road to Hell. I'm pretty sure there's a Bible verse about this, anyway,

Can't get enough of Gov. Chris Christie? Go to Daily Christie, your daily source of all things Common Sense Christie. Not sure if this blogger has thought of swag opportunities - might put his portrait up beside George Washington  'cause he's that awesome.

The Other McCain discusses what happens when everybody jumps up and wants to lead. Confusion can ensue. Like our Governor's Race here in Tennessee.

I Own the World exposes Obama's Ministry of Truth.  Hmm. Ministry of Truth, where have I seen that before?

The Washington Rebel informs us of The Gravity of the Situation.

Please keep Katie Granju in your prayers, as greiving gets difficult after everyone else starts moving on.

In Tennessee news, we had a pretty much party line vote in the House on the Tennessee Health Freedom Act. Tom Humphrey has the list. There were nine Republicans who did not care enough to show up for the vote. Even if you don't live in TN, take time to write them a letter telling them how much you appreciate their diligence in careening us all towards tyranny.

In Tennessee we are also experiencing a three-way republican primary for Governor. Terry Frank has the lowdown on Team Wamp. Other contenders are Bill Haslam, whom Brian Hornback has the goods on & current Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey who has vowed to give the Federal Government the boot.

Here's what kind of arrogance we have to deal with in Knox County, Tennessee behold Teh  Has:

Another Reason Charlie Crist is Slime

Bob Shiavo gives us his opinion of Charlie Crist here:
As most Americans know, on March 31, 2005, my daughter, Terri Schindler Schiavo died of starvation and thirst after having her feeding tube removed by court order. The sad chain of events that concluded with Terri’s death ignited a media firestorm nationally and internationally. What few saw or heard was the callous inaction of aspiring governor Charlie Crist.
Florida Atty. Gen. Charlie Crist let my daughter die. He had it within his authority to save her life, but he turned a blind eye to her suffering. Even worse, he worked to ensure her death.
Terri lived in a neurologically compromised state for reasons that are still unknown, and my family wanted nothing more than permission to care for Terri for the span of her natural life. We were denied.
I started reading blogs to find out what was going on with Terri. I remember following the now defunct Empire Journal, which always had the scoop on the Shiavo drama. I remember them saying that Terri was a test case for euthanasia proponents  and Crist was complicit in that, getting campaign contributions from pro-euthanasia hospice programs. I can't remember, but maybe some of you super-sleuths can enlighten us on the details.

Hypocrisy

[The things the hypocrite trades in and lays claim to.]
First.
The hypocrite trades in the duties of God’s worship. Judas sits down with the rest of the apostles at the passover, and bids himself welcome as confidently as if he were the best guest—the holiest of all the company. The proud Pharisee gets to the temple as soon as the broken-hearted publican. But what work doth the hypocrite make with these things that would be known indeed. Sad work, the Lord knows, or else God would not so abominate them as to think he hears a dog bark, or a wolf howl all the while they are praying. We think David had a curious hand at the harp that could pacify the evil raging spirit of melancholy Saul. But what a harsh unhappy stroke have they in the duties of God's worship, that are able to make the sweet meek Spirit of God angry, yea, break out into fury against them? And no wonder, if we consider but these two things.

1. The hypocrite does no less than mock God in all his duties. And of all things God can least bear that. God is not mocked. Christ preached this doctrine when he cursed the fig-tree, which did, by her green leaves, mock the passenger, making him come for fruit, and go ashamed without any. Had it wanted leaves as well as fruit, it had escaped that curse. Every lie is a mocking of him to whom it is told, because such a one goes to cheat him, and thereby puts the fool upon him. Why hast thou ‘mocked me,’ said Delilah to Samson, ‘and told me lies?’ Judges 16:10, as if she had said—as is usual upon the like with us —Do you make a fool of me? I leave it to the hypocrite to think seriously what he is going to make of God, when he puts up his hypocritical services. God’s command was none should appear before him empty. This the hypocrite doth; and therefore mocks God. He comes indeed full-mouth, but empty-hearted. As to the formality of a duty, he oft exceeds the sincere Christian. He, if any, may truly be called a ‘master of ceremonies,’ because all that he entertains God with in duty, lies in the courtship of tongue and knee. How abhorrent this is to God may easily be judged by the disdain which even a wise man would express to be so served. Better to pretend no kindness, than, pretending, to intend none. It is the heart God looks at in duty. If the wine be good, he can drink it out of a wooden cup. But let the cup be never so gilded, and no wine in it, he makes account that man mocks him that would put it into his hand. It was Christ’s charge against Sardis, ‘I have not found thy works perfect before God,’ Rev. 3:2. I have not found them full cviii ‘before God,’ as the original hath it. Sincerity fills our duty and all our actions. And mark that phrase before God, which implies that this church retained such an outward form of devotion as might keep up her credit before men. She had ‘a name to live,’ but her works were not full before God. He pierced them deeper than man’s probe could go, and judgeth her by what he found her within.

Why the John Birch Society Has Been Discredited

Here is the much maligned Robert Welch, president of the John Birch Society in 1958 1974. Please watch this video and ask yourself, what part do you disagree with?

I don't know about you, but I'm inspired. It makes you wonder why the John Birch society is so greatly maligned, is it because they were Tea Party before Tea Party was cool?

Satan is A Knucklehead - Must See Video

You will be blessed if you take time to listen to this great message from Adrian Rogers. You will find this interesting no matter who you are:

This is a great intro to prophecy study. If you are not ready to meet the Lord, please watch the video at the top of the sidebar.

Mind Blowing "mass" Liturgy

Found this one on A Little Leaven. Here's a Rorschach test for you:

Easter Island heads, a priest who can't remember the words for communion, social gospel, "Jesus is a Change Agent", wacky congregational dances, slinging incense and "holy" water.

This is what I see: what a Christian church will look like after the Rapture.

View it at your own risk - I now have duct tape holding the back of my head together.

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons

Homeland Security is Deporting My Brother

My brother in Christ, Mosab Hassan Yousef, is being targeted by Homeland Security for deportation. Maggie's Notebook has the initial story which I saw on Camp of the Saints. From Maggie:

Mosab Hassan Yousef, known as The Son of Hamas, has been targeted by Homeland Security for deportation. Yousef is a Palestinian. His father is a Hamas leader. Mosab was an agent for Israel’s Mossad for many years. In a strange turnaround in his life, Mosab was imprisoned in Israel for ten years, witnessed the torture of Hamas members by Hamas member and met a tourist who led him to convert from Islam to Christianity.
Today, Mosab Yousef lives near San Diego. He is officially seeking asylum in the United States, but Homeland Security says he is a security threat (translated: he’s a Muslim with the audacity to convert and…he supports Israel); DHS wants to send him back to Palestine where he will be put to death. Yousef will go before a San Diego judge on June 30th to determine his status in this country.
He has written a book Son of Hamas, so check it out if you can.
Here he tells his story on Sean Hannity:

Please pray for my brave brother Mosab for God's protection. Here is the contact information for Homeland Security, if you feel inclined to let them know how you feel. This is an outrage of the highest order. The Bush protesters were right about Homeland Security being a unconstitutional. How long before the rest of us our security threats (to their collectivist agenda)?

Fear and Loathing in the Gulf

I found this video at InfoWars. Yes, yes, I know, you think I've gone all Art Bell on you. In fact, this is an interview from a UFO document-er. I only post it because we all feel that the whole story is not being told in this oil spill. Are they using this as a crisis to push cap&trade, which the globalists are hoping will fund the coming global government? Why has our premier "global citizen" Barry Soerto been so lackadaisical concerning the whole thing?  From Openyoureyes:
According to documentary film maker, James Fox, reporting from Louisiana, there is a massive media black out being perpetrated in the Gulf of Mexico BP Oil spill. While that much may have seemed obvious to many, James says that people with cameras are being threatened with arrest, and locals are seriously afraid to talk. The place is swarming with both government officials and corporate officials, and by the sounds of this interview it's a pretty scary situation.

Weird. Can anyone from the Gulf confirm or deny this stuff?

One Ring to Rule Them All

Brannen House of Worldview Weekend has a good synopsis of what is coming down the pike. He shows how those in the Obama administration are laying the framework for blaming Christians for not going along with the whole environmentalist agenda. For those of you who are unaware, the environmental movement is the vehicle by which the globalists are seeking to assume power. See the video here, I can't embed, but it is a sample from his two hour documentary. Pastor House does a lot of good work by exposing apostasy within the church. For those of you with kids, check out his Code Blue youth conferences. I've never been, but based on the great information that his organization provides, I'm sure that they're awesome, oh, and they're FREE too!  While you're there, take the Worldview test, to see how far you've been corrupted.

As you watch the video, pay special attention to the end. Here he cites that the "sustainable development" people are going to bring their goal about through education, their vehicle for getting everyone to believe the craziness of radical environmentalism. Like I said, the faster we get people away from public school, the harder we make it for them to achieve their goals.

We know from God's Word that these things must come to pass. The devil seeks total power over God's creation, of which he is very jealous. He really hates us of the man race, as we are made in His image. I don't have to cite examples to show you how much the Devil hates babies: Egypt's pharaoh, Herod, Margaret Sanger, and now Obama's science czar who supports forced abortions.  But the devil was thwarted again, and again. He will not win the ultimate victory, but he will use the pride and vanity of man to believe that they can wield the power of global governance. We have a lot of Boramirs out there who think if they just had enough power that they could alleviate the earth's problems. I intend to spotlight some of these people in future posts, but for now remember that Satan binds people in darkness with the promise of power. Whether it's the illusion that you can have complete power over your own life by not submitting to the Lord, or all the way up to not acknowledging the True Owner of this world, he has people convinced that there is no Light that will shine on them.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

Don't Wait Until November to Take Action - Part 4: Go Galt (If You Can)

Christopher Grey at World Net Daily has a list of tips for those of you who have more money than I. He explains:

The vast majority, possibly as high as 90 percent, of federal income taxes are paid by the top 1 percent of the households. If this group would take extraordinary measures, all within the current tax laws, to reduce tax liabilities, this would have a devastating effect on the ability of the federal government to fund itself.

For example, a 50 percent reduction in the taxable income of this top 1 percent probably would cost the federal government trillions of dollars of revenue per year. There is almost no way that the feds could replace this lost revenue or borrow this much more every year, so it would force them to cut spending or try to implement extremely unpopular new taxes on the middle class.

Some ways to accomplish a tax liability cut under current tax laws are: 1) if close to retirement age, simply retire early, 2) if your company allows you to do so or you own your own business, defer as much income as legally possible for as long as possible, 3) if you have the resources to do so, simple take a few years off from working and spend more time on other pursuits or with your family, 4) donate substantially more money to charity, 5) redirect investment capital into companies that don't pay dividends and state and local tax exempt bonds rather than taxable bonds, income property, or other interest or dividend generating investments.

By legally cutting off the funding mechanism for the federal government, spending reductions will become unavoidable whether the politicians want to do it or not.
Read the whole thing.

The reason why the reason of John Galt's speech doesn't connect with so many is because we have "Escaped From Reason." Let those who read Francis Schaeffer understand.

The Courage of Stonewall

In the times we live in, a lot of people are overcome with fear. We Christians know that we live in a lost and fallen world headed for judgment. Remember that Jesus said, "Fear not, for I have overcome the world." That sounds good, but sometimes we get all panicky anyway. Sometimes a godly example can help one get their attitude adjusted. Stonewall Jackson was one of the greatest military men that North America ever produced, and his integrity was respected by all who served with him. From the book, America's Providential History, I give you the following excerpt via the work of Mark Grimsley:

He displayed extraordinary calm under fire, a calm too deep and masterful to be mere pretense. His apparent obliviousness to danger attracted notice, and after First Manassas someone asked him how he managed it.
Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed,' Jackson explained. 'God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me.' He added pointedly, 'Captain that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.'
As field commander, Jackson's religion came into play in various ways. During military operations he prayed frequently, lived simply, and in his reports habitually gave God all credit for the slightest success. 'Without God's blessing,' Jackson declared, 'I look to no success, and for every success my prayer is, that all the glory may be given to Him to whom it is properly due.' Whenever possible he also avoided marching or fighting on the Sabbath.
The perfect peace he exhibited on the battlefield is a testament to the trust we can have in the Lord. There really is nothing in this world that can eternally harm a blood-bought believer of Jesus Christ. This reality is what allowed those early Christians to sing hymns in the arena. Polycarp didn't resist being tied to the burning stake, knowing that he would soon see His Lord. No matter what comes our way, we can live knowing that God is sovereign and will give us the courage we need for every situation.

Remember that today is D-Day and the courage of many bought our freedoms in this temporary life.
Also remember the courage of Jesus to drink from that cup of wrath bought our eternal freedom in our real life.

Rule 5 Sunday

This week in the blogosphere:

The heart-breaking case of the death of Henry Granju continues to perplex. His mother, famous blogger, Katie Allison Granju has said he was admitted to the hospital with blunt force trauma and a drug overdose. The police are saying there wasn't a crime that can be prosecuted because there was not a weapon. Something does not add up. Apparently,  Jack Bauer didn't kill as many people as we thought since he used his bare hands a lot.

The Other McCain will make you swell with pride and tears with this post.

At Big Government, there is a wicked awesome graph illustrating clearly what is wrong with the government school system.

Bread Upon the Waters has all of the info about the Mosque at Ground Zero.

Six Meat Buffet has a story on how we combat terrorism here in Tennessee.

Here's a heartfelt post from Get Along Home entitled Just Mommy. I saw it at The Other McCain.

There might be something about Andrea Bocelli that you didn't know  - check it out at Adrienne's Corner. BTW, Andrea is a dude, a dude who sings opera and will make you cry in a good way.

Here's another dude who can sing -  I just love this song!

Summarizing the Series So Far

I thought it worthwhile to take stock of what I've been writing on so far. I think a lot of these posts will be educational to those who haven't considered how deeply infiltrated the leftists are in our society.

Here is where we are in the "Don't Wait Until November" series:
Don't Wait#1 - Pull Your Kids Out of Public School - All our freedoms depend on it!
Don't Wait #2 - Cancel Your Newspaper Subscriptions
Don't Wait #3 - Pray

Here is a summary of our journey through the Soviet Subversion chart, also known as my Blogging Bezmenov series:

Ideas- Taking over the arena of ideas one institution at a time:

Religion & Politicization
Religion & Commercialization
Education
Media
Mass Culture

Structures - Taking over the legal, politcal, and protective infrastructure that governs and secures our land.
Our Government - Redefining Law and Order to the point of lawlessness
Our Protective Forces - Undermining our military and police
Social Relations - Rights vs. Obligations

For those who don't know what all this is about, Yuri Bezmenov was a KGB agent who worked in propaganda. He defected to the West and spent a good deal of  effort in the early 80s trying to warn America about what was coming down the pike. His story to us all is found via Useless Dissident's files and is called Love Letter to America. I've been writing about how his predictions have come true and where we stand now in each of these areas.

Here's the full video of his interview with G. Edward Griffin in 1984:

Teacher's Unions = Public Enemy #1

Like the Czech said, the greatest danger to America is the ignorant masses who elected Barack Obama. Here's that great governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, calling them out: (swiped the vid from hot air.)

Christie speaks in Washington DC, calling Newark schools 'absolutely disgraceful'

Demoralization of Structures: Our Protective Forces

The forces that protect the citizens of the United States includes the intelligence community, the police, and military. I don't really have to tell you that these groups have long been under assault by leftists in all areas of life: academia, media, and government. I am going to present to you what Yuri Bezmenov said over 25 years ago. Just think about how intensified this process has become since that time.

To demoralize America's PROTECTIVE FORCES it is enough to make your kids call the police “pigs” and “fascists” for a decade, disband police agencies watching over subverters and radicals by calling them “spies” (that is exactly what American Union of Civil Liberties did), stage campaign after campaign of discreditation and “investigation” of the “wrongdoings” of the police, and in 20 years you arrive at the present situation, when the majority of civilian population of this nation is virtually without civil laws or protection from murderers, lunatics, criminals, etc. Can you now expect your police and civil authorities to protect you and your family in case of terrorist attack or a major civil disturbance?
Joe McCarthy and Congressman Reece can testify to the campaign of discrediting that the ACLU perpetrated against them. I think every US History textbook in the nation has a little chapter about how wacko McCarthy was and will always mention the word "paranoia" in the same paragraph. As far as not having protection against lunatics and criminals, that is right on as we let these people out of jail who don't need to be running around loose. I can't let my kids out of my sight because you don't know what nuts are running around loose. That really bugs me as I'd like for them to go play a long way off sometimes.

The American FBI and CIA have had no better treatment. Americans are MADE to believe that your own security agencies pose more danger than the Soviet KGB. There were dozens of “revelations” and exposés on the CIA during the last 10 to 15 years. But there was not a SINGLE public trial of any Soviet agent of the KGB caught in the USA “red-handed.” There were numerous expulsions of Soviet 'diplomats' yes. But an equal or greater number of them came to America to replace their 'fallen comrades.’

There is not a SINGLE law in America which could be used to legally persecute KGB agents for ideological subversion. But there is a law that prevents your CIA from using YOUR media to vindicate their acts to protect YOU against the KGB subversion. Your media and your Hollywood entertainers lovingly repeat every fabrication of Soviet propaganda regarding the CIA 'atrocities,’ mixing it with truth, half-truth and blatant lie. Demoralizers like Larry Flint regularly entertain the public with juicy stories about ‘CIA assassinations’ sandwiched between pornographic pictures in his magazine. Do you remember when you saw an American film or read a book about the 'good CIA'? I do not imply that pornographer Flint or members of Rockefeller Commission on CIA are on the KGB payroll. But obviously pornography, as well as political prostitution pays. It sells 'Hustler' magazine, it sells politicians... and it kills the security of America. Criticism of the KGB does not pay. In fact, critics of KGB subverters may get killed in the process. What are you, my dear Americans? A nation of masochists and cowards? When you read and listen to all this dirt poured upon your security agencies by the media and politicians, can't you realize, that the most just and factual criticism of the CIA is wrongly addressed? Security agencies of America (unlike the KGB) are INSTRUMENTS in the hands of a nation and her elected POLITICIANS. One should not blame an instrument, when it is the OPERATOR's fault. If the instrument malfunctions-- CORRECT it, and don't use a hammer where a fine screwdriver is needed.
Are we a nation of cowards? We take a lot more crap than our forebears would have, that's for sure. We didn't stand up for our people in the intelligence agency back before and when Clinton was giving a lot of them the axe. I'm not sure if they've been replaced by leftist supporters by now, but we have failed in not pushing back against the media and the ACLU back when all this was just getting started. Why? We've been too distracted by our mass culture and buying cheap crap from China, not to mention houses brought to us by the Community Reinvestment Act.

Very often American media presents a picture of CIA and FBI as a 'mirror reflection' of the KGB and its 'fraternal services.’ False. The KGB is a POWER which systematically and ruthlessly MURDERED about SIXTY MILLION of my countrymen, and still engages in the killing of innocent defenseless people all over the world. How many were killed by the CIA? Do numbers (and 'quality' too) matter at all to you? Or was comrade Stalin right, when he said that ONE person shot is a tragedy, but 1 million is statistics'?
Yuri illustrates moral relativity on display, with absolutely no reason or facts coming into this thinking process. Don't even acknowledge the genocide-level exterminations perpetrated by the KGB, just tell the world that they're just like us!

Now let's look at how you treat your military. What is the image of the military presented to you and the rest of the world in the American press and the electronic media? If there is a U.S. general, he is called a trigger-happy 'warmonger,’ a 'hawk' and 'aggressor.’ One of the most popular TV series-- M.A.S.H.-- presents your military as a bunch of very humorous, hysterically funny bunch of psychotics, queers, alcoholics and otherwise rather unruly characters. Recently I saw a film titled “Rage,” where the Pentagon is depicted as a cruel experimenter, testing chemical weapons on unsuspecting American farmers. And it is shown on TV exactly at the very same time when Soviets are using chemical weapons in Afghanistan, Cambodia and Laos, and provide the same to their Iraqi 'brothers 'for their fraternal genocide in Persian Gulf. Have you EVER seen a movie or a TV series about THAT? Every American student knows the name of the Vietnamese village Mi-Lai and what it stands for, namely, an “American war crime.” Do you remember the name of the Soviet pilot who shot down the Korean passenger airliner with 269 passengers aboard, including some 60 Americans and a US senator? Do you remember the name of that senator [actually, Congressman]? Does anybody in America EVER learn from American media the names of thousands of Cambodian and Afghani villages TOTALLY EXTERMINATED by the Soviet military? Where is Jane Fonda and Dr. Spock, who used to express so much concern and love for Vietnamese and Cambodians when the US military was there?
And to think that we're gong to be giving away "restraint awards" to those soldiers who resist the urge to fire. It's so ludicrous, it almost has to be part of some kind of conspiracy. The name of the congressman Yuri alludes to is Larry McDonald, who I've mentioned before on this blog. He was to the right of Ron Paul, if you can imagine it. But the point is made that the media is very selective in finding a crisis. Guantanamo Bay has scrolled off the headlines as long as they didn't need it anymore. The American media never mentions the millions of Christians living under persecution in the world, many of them under Islamic tyranny. They only promote those things that will advance their own twisted ideology. The joke is, of course, is that they are the useful idiots that Mr. Bezmenov says will be lined up against the wall and shot as soon as their usefulness has reached its end.
The 'double standard' applied and enforced and LEGITIMIZED by the manipulators of public opinion in the USA is a direct result of the long-term process of the DEMORALIZATION of the IMAGE of the US MILITARY in the minds of millions all over the world. The result? Study the chart...

Let's look at the chart -  its says that the result of subversion of the protective forces structure or institution is defenselessness. Now who would want to do a thing like that?

Living in the Last Days

Part 1:

Part 2:

I highly recommend Pastor Roger's book, Understanding the End Times in Our Times, it's very, um, timely.

A Czechoslavakian Gets It Right

This quote from a Czechosalvakian was featured on Neil Boortz's show the other day, and I had to put it up because it so succinctly says what is really wrong with our country.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

We need to be busy educating everyone we know about the dire straights we're in. We need to emphasize personal responsibility, especially in education, for it is there where the leftists make their disciples.
