Picking and choosing what to believe and practice is what the majority of Christians do. We're limited by our flesh and cannot perfectly conform to God's standard, the Law of the Ten Commandments. Thankfully, He sent His Son to pay for this and promises to heal the world one day. Meanwhile, sincere Christians work through a process of conviction through our sins. I'm pleased that I'm not the person I was five or ten years ago because the Lord has grown me spiritually though the working of the Holy Spirit in conjunction with the trials of life. And for the record, I'm not a Catholic, but a Baptist who reads her KJV straight up with the kids everyday, well, almost everyday. But the Catholics have got their catechism down, and Jack Hunter couldn't help but notice that Mr. Santorum had not taken notice of what the Pope and centuries of Catholic teaching regarding war.

Worldview Weekend Scrutenizes Prayerful Perry

As some of you may know, I'm a real fan of the ministry of Brannon Howse, who is not afraid to go heresy hunting among the famed religious leaders of our day. We Bible-thumpers take the Bible as an American is supposed to take the Constitution, as literal as possible, but always holding on the the spirit of God's law.

What Burns My Grits

I've been out of pocket for a few days househunting and working on moving to Middle Tennessee. So I haven't had a chance to blog, but I did notice a few things on my trip that really burned by grits. (Warning: Rant ahead..)

• I drove past a church sign that said "God bless our students and teachers in the new school year." Let's think about this a minute: why would God bless an institution where His name is not welcome? hmm? Yes, let's hand our blessings from God over to an organization designed and run by secular humanists. I'm sure it makes Him so happy. Wait, why are young people leaving the church in droves? They're being converted into the religion of secularism, huh? Go figure.
• I pick up the USA Today Establishment rag that they put outside the hotel room, which I happen to slip all over trying to keep the 2 yo from getting on the elevator without us, and I notice later an article about Rob Bell. For those of you who don't know, Rob Bell is a big leader in the emergent church movement, which is what they are calling the liberal wishy washy church these days. Anyhow the article said we might not have to worry about hell according to Pastor Bell. According to him, Hell is what we do to each other here on earth. Man, if this ain't the Great Apostasy, I don't know what is. Here is the breakdown on Bell's Heresy from Twin City Fellowship. Pretty warm where you're headed Rob, if you don't get on the straight and narrow.

Oh, and for good measure, I've got to throw in this Rob Bell parody, because it's sooo funny.

• So I'm sitting in the lobby area eating my breakfast and they've got the annoying TV on. I swanee, I could hardly sit there and listen to it. Knowing what I know about the banking cartel that runs our country made Fox and Friends seem even more ridiculous than I remembered it. Plus they were talking about Rick "Merck's Man" Perry's presidential announcement.
• The number of "conservatives" going yee-hah over Perry illustrate what a dumbed down society we have truly become. The herd mentality is seen in the conservative media every bit as much as in the liberal media. When you recognize where the paychecks are coming from for these two viewpoints, it really shouldn't surprise you. I just really wish people could shift their paradigm faster and understand the root causes of what is wrong in our country - banksters.
• I hate red light cameras - big brother is watching and I don't like it.

Meet Your Elites: Crispen Tickell

I had never heard of this guy until I came across this James Dilingpole column I found at Lew Rockwell. It is by a guest poster Ishmael2009, and bills Crispen Tickell as the man who invented global warming. Mr. Tickell wrote the 1977 book Climactic Change and World Affairs in which he connects climate change and overpopulation. At the time, it was global cooling that was all the rage, but it doesn't matter because the human race is the target of the elites. Here is an excerpt:

We are, he believes, “a malignant maladaption in the corpus of living organisms, and behave and reproduce like a virus out of control” (2). We are “infected tissue in the organism of life” (3). “More than ever,” he writes, “humans can be regarded like certain species of ant” (5).The only relief from this that Tickell sees on the horizon is that “it is hard to believe that there will be anything like current or future human numbers in their present urban concentrations or elsewhere. Whether weeded out by warfare, disease, deteriorating conditions of life, or other disasters, numbers are likely to fall drastically. We must, I believe, expect some breakdowns in human society before the end of this century with unforeseeable outcomes” (4). That’ll teach us to pollute his nice clean world!

This dovetails with the previous post where we see that collectivists don't see the beauty of the individual, each uniquely created by God, but as a horde of groups and subgroups to be controlled and manipulated. Who else hates the human race this much or more? Oh, yes..

Get the picture? This guy is part of the founding families of the new world order, his great-great grandfather being T.H. Huxley himself.  One aspect of the elites I like to examine is their religious and moral beliefs. How convenient Mr. Tickell put up this interview about that very subject.

So you took instruction and became a Catholic, observing Catholic yourself.
Only for a very short time. I remember that the Jesuit who instructed me who was a well-known person called Father Martindale, whenever I came up against great difficulty he would put his hand upon mine and say 'Have faith my child, have faith.' But after a bit I realised that wasn't enough, and I didn't actually spend very long in the Catholic Church, because I was uncertain about its whole intellectual structure, and I still am.
Where did the doubts creep in then? Was this to do with fraternizing with the chimpanzees? (Laughs)
(Laughs) No. I just thought it was a very, very unlikely tale, the Christian tale - it seems to me that you're piling improbability upon improbability. And it goes back much more than people I think realize, to the extremely unlikely story of the Fall of Man. Because if Adam and Eve had not fallen, or if symbolically people had not learnt what sin was about, then you don't need a Redeemer, and you don't need all the rest of the apparatus. And so a lot of it goes back to the Fall. And when I became interested in anthropology, this seemed to me an extremely improbable phenomenon, because I see humans as being like any other primate, gradually moving in a certain direction with evidently mutations taking place, and gradually becoming aware of philosophy and understanding and language and art and all the rest of it. But I don't see anything like a fall. If you don't have a fall, you don't need a redeemer. If you don't need a redeemer, then what is this nonsense about, about having to be sacrificed on the cross for humanity? Again, you then get into the question of was ... Jesus God, or wasn't He? And it seems to me again it's an extremely unlikely tale that He ever was. I've always wanted all my life, to sit down with Him and have a good conversation.

You won't be sitting down and the conversation will be one-sided. He thinks humans are just monkeys, I guess his great-grandpa would be proud. Of course, this line of thinking makes culling humans morally justifiable, and we saw that with the Georgia Guidestones someone out there wants a lot of humans dead.

Isn't the point about Christianity that it, it's the unlikeliness of the tale that makes it the great faith it is?
Well I don't think so is the answer - I simply cannot believe this extraordinary heap of beliefs. And when you compare it with other beliefs and other religions as I think we all have to do, you realize that in many respects, Christianity is one of the most improbable of the lot. It's very interesting - how can people believe all this stuff? How did people believe the other things that they believe? I think the human mind is an infinitely flexible instrument which is capable of taking on almost any set of beliefs - sometimes you dress them up in reason afterwards - but the emotional reasons behind any religion are the most important, and I think the rationalization that takes place is, or is not improbable or implausible - and I'm afraid Christianity is among the most implausible.

If I'm going to believe in a God powerful enough to create the universe, then why would it be too hard to believe what He did in a Book which He wrote objectively explaining it to you? Apparently this concept is too hard for this poor, unregenerate man.

And did you, how did you fill the, the gap that was left then, as, as a young person you'd been a serving Christian. Did you feel a, a lack of an explanation or ideology? And indeed, where does Christianity sit now in your world view?
I think it's a system of belief that I respect in the same way as I respect other systems of belief, and I find it a very interesting subject. I find it's rather enjoyable to discuss it with people. You'd be surprised how few priests and other advocates of Christianity are in fact willing to get down to the intellectual foundations and have a look at them, because they don't like doing it. But filling a gap - I didn't really feel a great gap, because I think the most important thing that we have is life itself, and when I start to look at the improbability of life and its manifestations since the very beginnings probably 4 billion years ago, I find that of such interest, that I feel very much at one with living things wherever they may be.

He derides Christianity as not being intellectual and an emotional religion, which is just what the devil would say, wouldn't he? He speaks in opposite land where up is down and wrong is right. This statement is ludicrous given that it was the church that preserved the knowledge of the ancient world, it was Christian men determined to show God's order of the universe through scientific discovery that made the modern world possible. The rationality of a God outside of ourselves who instead of snapping His fingers and changing His Creation on a whim, which He is within His right to do, plays by His own set of rules. He is orderly, reasonable, and just. His Book has been preserved through the centuries unchanged as the Dead Sea Scrolls have proved. In it, the God of the universe describes the beginning, middle, and end of human history and His plan for it. The gobblegook spouted by Mr. Tickell is what is unrational-- just as God said would happen in the last days:


For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Have pity on these elites who live in such spiritual darkness that they don't even realize that they are in a horrible trap. The fact that God has put the world into a deep freeze with these people promoting global warming shows how they are like gnats to Him. These people will ultimately never succeed in their plans because God is sovereign and in control. I'm reminded of what God said in Genesis 15:19:

 ...for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

God is waiting for the resevoir of His wrath to be filled. Every abortion, every broken home, every blasphemy, every two-bit scheme like AGW puts a drop into His wrath bucket. The time will come when it will be filled and like a threatening parent, that really will be IT. Game. Over. Man. Those who mock Him with their stupid assertions that a God who purports to have created the universe wouldn't be able to do the math on human reproduction and the surface area of the earth- are in for a rougher time than we mundanes. Pray for Crispin Tickell, as he is lost without hope, and is not above using deceit and trickery to push eugenics on the world's population. 

Richard Land Needs to Read His Bible

In a recent Politico article, Southern Baptist big shot, Richard Land said of amnesty for illegals:

First and foremost, it’s a kingdom issue, and, second, it’s a moral issue, “We have hundreds of thousands of Hispanic Southern Baptists and many of them are undocumented. … It’s no secret that we practice aggressive evangelism. Many of these people were converted after they got here.”

 Newsflash, Dr. Land, national sovereignty is important to God.  There are a lot of dry passages in the Old Testament where He painstakingly describes the boundaries of the Promised Land as well as each tribe's portion. It's great that we're reaching Hispanics for Christ, but that doesn't mean that our established law no longer applies. He then goes on to equivocate in the article that Hispanics will turn out to be easier to Americanize.

“Realistically, I think it is probably more politically feasible to do this because the overwhelming majority of the people that we’re talking about come from a European civilization,” said Land. “It would be more problematic if we had 12 [million] to 14 million undocumented people and they were either Oriental or Islamic. … Whether that is right or wrong, I’m just giving you a realistic political calculation.”

 Consider Acts 17:26:

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Mexico is a dangerous place these days and the Gospel is more easily accepted by those under hardship. I would like less political calculation out of SBC leaders, and more consideration of the times in which we live. Forces are at work to disintegrate national sovereignty by making borders meaningless. This lines up with what the Bible prophesies as the One World Government. Why such an education theologian as Richard Land can't see that is beyond me. For anyone interested, I have an End-Times Scriptures tab at the top with a special intro by Sir Isaac Newton himself. Homeland Security is Deporting My Brother

My brother in Christ, Mosab Hassan Yousef, is being targeted by Homeland Security for deportation. Maggie's Notebook has the initial story which I saw on Camp of the Saints. From Maggie:

Mosab Hassan Yousef, known as The Son of Hamas, has been targeted by Homeland Security for deportation. Yousef is a Palestinian. His father is a Hamas leader. Mosab was an agent for Israel’s Mossad for many years. In a strange turnaround in his life, Mosab was imprisoned in Israel for ten years, witnessed the torture of Hamas members by Hamas member and met a tourist who led him to convert from Islam to Christianity.
Today, Mosab Yousef lives near San Diego. He is officially seeking asylum in the United States, but Homeland Security says he is a security threat (translated: he’s a Muslim with the audacity to convert and…he supports Israel); DHS wants to send him back to Palestine where he will be put to death. Yousef will go before a San Diego judge on June 30th to determine his status in this country.

How long before the rest of us our security threats (to their collectivist agenda)?

The Courage of Stonewall

In the times we live in, a lot of people are overcome with fear. We Christians know that we live in a lost and fallen world headed for judgment. Remember that Jesus said, "Fear not, for I have overcome the world." That sounds good, but sometimes we get all panicky anyway. Sometimes a godly example can help one get their attitude adjusted. Stonewall Jackson was one of the greatest military men that North America ever produced, and his integrity was respected by all who served with him. From the book, America's Providential History, I give you the following excerpt via the work of Mark Grimsley:

He displayed extraordinary calm under fire, a calm too deep and masterful to be mere pretense. His apparent obliviousness to danger attracted notice, and after First Manassas someone asked him how he managed it.

Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed,' Jackson explained. 'God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me.' He added pointedly, 'Captain that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave.'

As field commander, Jackson's religion came into play in various ways. During military operations he prayed frequently, lived simply, and in his reports habitually gave God all credit for the slightest success. 'Without God's blessing,' Jackson declared, 'I look to no success, and for every success my prayer is, that all the glory may be given to Him to whom it is properly due.' Whenever possible he also avoided marching or fighting on the Sabbath.

The perfect peace he exhibited on the battlefield is a testament to the trust we can have in the Lord. There really is nothing in this world that can eternally harm a blood-bought believer of Jesus Christ. This reality is what allowed those early Christians to sing hymns in the arena. Polycarp didn't resist being tied to the burning stake, knowing that he would soon see His Lord. No matter what comes our way, we can live knowing that God is sovereign and will give us the courage we need for every situation.

Remember that today is D-Day and the courage of many bought our freedoms in this temporary life.
Also remember the courage of Jesus to drink from that cup of wrath bought our eternal freedom in our real life.

Americans without religious affiliation? No Kidding

Gallup is out with numbers that say that Americans increasingly have no religious affiliation: (I can't get their stupid graph to come up so go look at it and pretend I put it here:)

Pay attention to the year 1963, the year that nonsectarian Bible reading was banned from school. From what I see the unaffiliated rate was pretty constant until that year.

It's pretty ridiculous for Christians to be surprised at these numbers. Like it says in Romans 10:14:

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

If every Christian parent had pulled their child out of school in the early sixties, our country would not be in the shape it's in. The globalist/collectivist tool is always ignorance. Parents did not even consider homeschooling or alternative education methods because they were conditioned to believe education has to be practiced by "experts". The reliance on "experts" and the fragmentation of our society could be fodder for many more posts.

Demoralization of Ideas - Commercializing Religion merges with Show-Time Religion

In this previous post, I ranted (can't call it a well-structured essay) about how liberal philosophy infiltrated existing denominations and the subject of faith itself has been politicized in public discourse. Just go to Wallbuilders or read the unabridged writings of the founders to know that God and His Word is the bedrock of our Constitution. John Adams famously put it:

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.

So how does one unbridle the restraints of morality and religion on a whole society, and subsequently bust that ol' Constitution wide open?  Ex-KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov, who specialized in subversion and propaganda explains: 

All subverter has to do to remove the spiritual backbone of America is to help you to POLITICIZE, COMMERCIALIZE and 'ENTERTAINMENT-ALIZE' the dominant religions. There are many other contributing factors the subverter can also take advantage of, such as the development and spreading of various religious cults, including Satanic and Death cults; preaching moral relativity and removing religion (and prayer, ANY prayer) from schools; creating 'personality cults' in religion whereby the preacher becomes the center and object or divine worship, not God (often your religious charlatans claims to be 'incarnations' of God, or even God Himself) etc.

I have selected the above three main methods because I am most familiar with them. These methods were used by myself and my KGB-Novosti colleagues and these methods have proven to be sufficiently efficient. We did not have to bother with such silliness for example as recruiting Billy Graham and forcing him to tell outrageous lies about “the existence of religious freedom in the Soviet Union” in state-run churches in Moscow.

Let's look at the contributing factors:
Cults-  are they on the increase? I haven't really researched this, but I'd bank on it. Remember, 1963 was the year that the Bible got the boot from schools. By 1973, these kids were a zillion times more likely to be in a cult than someone who grew up  in the 1930s.
Moral Relativity- this is "preached" to kids in the school system and in the media (all their cute little shows). It's not very overt in the early years, but they lay it on thick the later grades. What is right and what is wrong and why is not at all stressed in public schools. Think about the moral dichotomy that is set up for kids when they have to sit out of recess for talking in the hallway, but the kid next to him gets off scot free even though he bullies kids and uses crude language. How is his sense of right and wrong being formed? There are books and books on moral relativity, so I won't go on.

Let's talk about entertainment and the church. I could devote an entire blog to the  churches that spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on lighting and sound systems so as to stimulate a rock concert experience at their church. I could start another blog just on Rick Warren and his custom church services that vary depending on your musical preference. Fortunately, someone has already done the work for me. Check out the radio archives at Critical Issues Commentary to hear a 15 part series that exposes why Rick Warren's ministry and his best-selling book, The Purpose Driven Life, are unbiblical case studies of "ear tickling"

Again, Yuri explains why this is beneficial to proponents of a collectivist, tyranical governement, and he said all this almost 30 years ago:

Let's start with the most 'innocent' method of destroying religion, namely, making it ENTERTAINING. To attract people AND MONEY to 'established' religious organizations some churches have literally become theaters conducting variety shows featuring celebrities from the entertainment 'industry' who perform for 'fees.’ The KGB Agents of Influence may or may not have to physically manipulate these entertainment arrangements. The indiscriminate choice of the 'celebrities' for these church 'performances' is usually quite pleasing to the KGB. A group of rock or pop-musicians with a message of 'social-justice' sugar-coated in popular 'spiritual' tunes can be actually more helpful to the KGB than someone standing in the pulpit preaching Marxist-Leninist doctrine. The sugar-sweet messages of social equality from the crooning mouths of the entertainers is quite enough to accomplish the aims of the KGB without any overt activity on their part.

Is this happening today? Let's dissect this paragraph:
Churches have become theaters -Need I say more?
Celebreties that charge fees - There is a difference, I think, between fees and a "love offering". But when some of these "Christian" celebrities are living it up in mansions here on earth, I think that an abuse of trust has occurred.
Social Justice message sugar-coat in today's Bubblegum music - I'm not really into CCM, so I can't comment on what percentage of that type of music would count as social gospel propaganda. Propoganda can take any form in music, so I always make it a point to pay close attention to the words and ask myself, how biblical are these lyrics? What Scripture would back them up?

This point of social justice reminded me of Rick Warren's ambitious P.E.A.C.E. project wherein he colludes with nonbelievers (without making a witnessing outreach) to achieve worldly goals. i.e. well-digging, education, medicine.

Yes, let's make church-goers think that they are changing the world with the social gospel. Just ignore that other Gospel where the Son of the Holy God of Israel willingly got beaten to a bloody pulp and took on the sin of the world on Himself, died, rose on the 3rd day, and vowed to return when the time of the Gentiles was fulfilled to take out the trash. Eww, that's offensive! Let's go dig a well in Nigeria without mentioning the Bible in threatening way so that the Muslims will like us better! Yay! Rob Bell and his glasses are soo kewl! The emergent church is what has come along to replace liberal theology in the church. It is prevalent in youth and college groups and does NOT lead to the straight and narrow. I've done a lot of research on this, due to a brush with it in my own church. It does tie into many of the points here, so I'm just mentioning it.

Moving along to the subject of marketing and Je$u$ junk, we discuss Commercialization. Observe the following little play:
Congregation: What do we do? Young people aren't coming to church anymore! We have to DO something!
Church Growth Pitch Man: You guys can't draw a crowd because you're not relevant. The Baptist Hymnal? Seriously. Look, we've got proven plan to get a church going again. Get your deacons together and come up with a vision. [Make this look like it was ya'll's idea.] You guys will need some tools to get started. May I suggest Church- in -a- Box? You will also need a super-cool youth guy or gal and to ramp up your music. Don't forget programs, programs, program! You'll also want to follow these transitioning guides. Do a survey to see what your congregation expects. These methods have been proven in the marketplace when improving brand. You might want to think about finding your niche. No matter what: emphasize giving!

See that? He's promoting the world's way over God's way, leading us to further decline. He said He would build His church, not us.




Again, years before the church growth movement was ever heard of, Yuri nails it:

Faithful people do not have to be ASKED for money, [He's talking about televangelists here.] they tithe to their churches voluntarily and eagerly. Unhealthy competition for donations between various 'electronic churches' does two things beneficial to the subverter (KGB): 1) it makes religion dependent on the most successful 'salesmen' of God (and these salesmen may not necessarily be, they DONT HAVE to be, of the highest moral standards) thus, truly moral, God-centered people are turned off by organized religion and 2) it EMPTIES regular churches, where you have to practice your religion by personal physical presence and participation and involvement. All the subverter has to do now is to keep on further discrediting the main body of the church, by harping at religion in general as “just another means of the capitalist exploitation of masses, and a profit-oriented opiate of the people.” And the Soviet propaganda, and its fronts such as 'Novosti' Press Agency does exactly that, and quite successfully, through thousands of 'liberal' and 'leftist' media establishments in the USA.

 Every crooked preacher on TV has probably closed the hearts of hundreds if not thousands of people. Does the US media ever highlight what good churches are doing in their communities. Maybe if you live down South, it will happen occasionally. I would say the vast majority of media stories on Christianity are designed to cast us in a bad light, never saying the hypocrite word, but making you think it the whole time. So many have left the church over the last 30 years. The church tries to fight it by becoming more worldly, like some pathetic person who just wants someone, anyone to like them. As Ferris Bueller once said, "Its hard to respect someone who kisses your butt." Don't let it get you down, gentle reader, He has already overcome the world for us!

Jesus told us to get ready in Matthew 24:

Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ, and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Demoraliztion of Ideas - Religion and Politicalization

Everyone knows that the church in America is not what it used to be. Compare the fiery sermons of Jonathan Edwards or George Whitefield to the mealy-mouthed fare that is whimpered out of the pulpits in many churches today, and it is no mystery why attendance is down and the church has lost influence. In the face of our toxic culture today, Christians aren't bold in proclaiming the Gospel, but are apologetic and tepid when discussing The Way.

How did we arrive at this point? In the Revolution, ministers of the Gospel were crucial to outlining the moral case for rebellion against the Crown. Yes, folks they talked about politics from the pulpit, a LOT. Education was intertwined with religious education in the Christian faith, for it was understood that if the American citizenry did not revere the Bible and respect God's Law, then the Constitution would be rendered worthless. Consider the 1828 definition of education in Webster's American Dictionary:

EDUCA'TION, n. [L. educatio.] The bringing up, as of a child, instruction; formation of manners. Education comprehends all that series of instruction and discipline which is intended to enlighten the understanding, correct the temper, and form the manners and habits of youth, and fit them for usefulness in their future stations. To give children a good education in manners, arts and science, is important; to give them a religious education is indispensable; and an immense responsibility rests on parents and guardians who neglect these duties. 

Children in Christian homes do not automatically become Christians by sheer genetics. The Bible is clear that if one generation fails to pass along God's precepts, the next generation will be carried off into worldliness and the trappings thereof. For proof, just look at how the Israelites' favor with God would change depending on each generation's faith.

Refer to the subversion process chart and see that the goals of Soviet or Collectivists is to politicize, commercialize, and make it a source of entertainment. I think they have more than succeeded in this department.  Let's break it down further. Remember that crappy Billy Joel song, We Didn't Start the Fire? This is true when you trace back unbelief in churches in the Western World. The first preacher to sound the clarion call to arms was that Prince of Preachers, Charles H Spurgeon. He called it the downgrade, suggesting that since the time of the Puritans, more pastors focused on the "moral teachings" of Jesus and not on the Gospel. Read more here. I believe the beginnings of this speculative and starry-eyed faith was in the Unitarian movement that was centered in New England. You will notice that that part of the country was the first to totally abandon the fundamentals of the Christian faith and now has a very low church attendance.

At about the time of Spurgeon, you had Darwin and Charles Lydell come along and propose theories that were not meshing with a literal translation. Well, nobody, especially elite-types want to be against science, so the spin machine was switched on and the politics of the Bible vs. Science is still churning away. The false sexual research of Dr. Kinsey also opened the door up to politicize the Bible and deviant sexuality. The most important factor in politicizing religion would come in 1963.

For 150 years, the United States government and court system would uphold that the meaning of the Freedom of Religion would comprise of no national denomination, yet no unfettered religious expression. Prayer was allowed anywhere and everywhere and if you didn't like it, tough, go start an atheist colony, heathen. Our country began the plunge downward with the following:

 "School Prayer & Bible Reading" (Abington Township School District v. Schempp, 1963)

The Pennsylvania school system complied with a state law requiring that ten verses of scripture be read every day. The readings were without comment and any student could request to be excused. This case came to the Supreme Court at the same time as the Murray v. Curlett case, and the court ruled on them together. In a nutshell, the court's ruling stated that School Prayer and Bible reading were violations of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. In ironic fashion, the court established a secular religion for our school system, thus violating the "establishment clause" of the First Amendment.

The book, America's Godly Heritage by David Barton, has a slew of graphs that record rates over time of various social statistics.  Teen pregnancy,  violent crime, STDs, cohabitation rates, and divorce rates all skyrocketed after 1963. The only graph in this section of the book that shows a decline is the SAT scores. Granted, other factors were hitting our country at the same time, but the root of these other evils was unbelief. The Bible is clear that if we do not constantly remind our children of God and His Law everyday, they will be led astray. Deuteronomy 6:7-9 makes it plain:

 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

When compulsory school laws went into effect around the country, one of the main selling points is that school would bring Christianity to the children of those who were not believers. Once Christianity, and the reminder that there is a God in Heaven who watches and will hold us accountable, is removed, the innate sinful nature takes over and leads to chaos. The devout parents of an earlier age submitted to compulsory education without a worry because they knew that the Bible was faithfully being read and those in authority held it in esteem. If these parents of 150 years ago were raising children today, they would not for one second allow their kids to participate in a school where Christ wasn't Lord. Would you?


We have traced how Christianity itself became politicized in the media, but what of politics in the church itself?
The Episcopal Church USA has ordained homosexuals, divested funds from Israel, supports abortion on demand, replaced social justice for the true Gospel of Christ, and cheer leads for all things liberal and Marxist. (Apologies to the faithful holdouts still working inside the denomination, but you know I'm right.) Following the Episcopalians off the cliff are your various mainline denominations: Lutherans, United Methodists, and Presbyterian USA just to name the bigger ones. What happened here you might wonder, well, just look up the following organizations: World Council of Churches, National Council of Churches, and any organization promoting ecumenicism. Politicizing religion is the most efficient method of demoralizing a target nation. Once a nation starts giving to Caesar what belongs to God, and getting God involved in such things as 'social justice' and partisan political squabbles, it predictably loses what religion calls mercy and the grace of God. To put it in 'atheistic' terms, a target country allows the subverter to use the area of moral values for dissemination and enforcement of amoral ideas and policies. The most powerful instrument of this process is an organization called World Council of Churches, infiltrated by the KGB to such extent, that it is hard to distinguish, these days, a priest from a spy. Being a public relations officer for Novosti, I accompanied many foreign members of the WCC during their visits to the USSR. Some of them struck me as individuals pathologically unable to say or hear truth. They were simply allergic to any facts or opinions which would 'undermine' their 'spiritual' affiliation with the Soviet manipulators. Archbishop and president (!) Macarios of Cyprus was one such 'religious 'visitor. Skillfully combining both God's and Caesar’s things, Macarios was extremely effective in bringing the desperately needed air of legitimacy and 'holiness' to the junta of the Soviet mass murderers and oppressors of religion. His photogenic presence at various 'international forums' in Moscow great1y promoted ACCEPTABILITY of the Soviet influence in the 'non-aligned' and 'developing' countries.

When, after my defection to the West, I find Trotskyite publications in a United Church of Canada, or see Nicaraguan Catholic Church 'fathers' with Soviet-made Kalashnikov machine guns hung over their church robes, or read about 'humanitarian' aid from the American Council of Churches given to African mass-murderers and terrorists, who were trained in my old country by the KGB, I do not 'suspect'-- I KNOW these things to be what they are-- direct results of the Communist SUBVERSION of religion. I do not need any 'evidence' of 'links' between the KGB and the church. The complete confusion of God-related and politically subverted related goals are obvious.

The World Council of Churches promotes ecumenicism. Why is ecumenicism bad? Think about the Tower of Babel and apply the moral of that story to churches. These churches chose political action over the Bread of Life. As a result, the power of the Gospel to change lives was diminished and immorality took the place of what had once been the most principled nation of people the world had ever known. Now over half of our population are legally separated from the book that Western Civilization was built upon. We're coming up on two generations of students who where forced to go to a school that will not teach them the truth of our country, not daring to mention His name for fear of lawsuits. A majority of them now doubt the reality of right and wrong. They mock the very thing that could save them and their country, as it has been politicized by the legal system, the media, and the church itself.
