Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Amber Lyons: All American Hero

Finally, a journalist that calls out her employer on skewing the news. Amber is an Emmy-award winning journalist formerly of CNN. She went to Bahrain March of 2011 to shoot a documentary and found out about how phony all the "revolutions" over there are. According to the Guardian:

In the segment, Lyon interviewed activists as they explicitly described their torture at the hands of government forces, while family members recounted their relatives’ abrupt disappearances. She spoke with government officials justifying the imprisonment of activists. And the segment featured harrowing video footage of regime forces shooting unarmed demonstrators, along with the mass arrests of peaceful protesters. In sum, the early 2011 CNN segment on Bahrain presented one of the starkest reports to date of the brutal repression embraced by the US-backed regime.
Despite these accolades, and despite the dangers their own journalists and their sources endured to produce it, CNN International (CNNi) never broadcast the documentary. Even in the face of numerous inquiries and complaints from their own employees inside CNN, it continued to refuse to broadcast the program or even provide any explanation for the decision. To date, this documentary has never aired on CNNi.

Here she is telling her story:

Bottom Line: Foreign governments are paying for content in OUR American media. This is not limited to CNN. Recall that the Saudis own a significant portion of Fox News, with Prince bin Talal the second biggest shareholder. Isn't it interesting that the religious and financial arch-enemy of Saudi Arabia is at the receiving end of the bomb, bomb, bomb propaganda? You don't need to think too hard about that one.

  1. Unfortunately the conservative community is so infused with neocons pushing the grand narrative screaming for blood, conservatives are acting like a mob of enraged Muslims they so abhor.

Don't dare question the narrative. You won't get stoned, per se, but you will be excommunicated for heresy and blaspheme.

and haven't we all - who have been telling the truth - experienced 'excommunication' type behavior on the part of those around us--

      Sad-and true!!

    2. You won't get stoned YET. There is nothing new under the sun, the world rejects the Truth of the Gospel AND common sense truth AND the truth of history repeating itself.
