Keep this guy in your prayers - he's running against Bob "votes with Obama 61% of the time" Corker. This interview is soooooooooooooo awesome. You will feel refreshed at the very idea of this guy in the Senate!
Zach's motto:
Where the Sphere of Domesticity is Fired Up! And the Memory Hole Gets Stopped Up!
YES!!! good luck to you and all the good people of Tebbessee. That is the kind of Senator need so desperately.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, we didn't make it this time. I smell fish, but I'll have to investigate to confirm. The possibility is there that Tennesseans as a group are pretty stupid, but Lou Ann and Zach had lots of grassroots support.
DeleteWe did our best for Zach in Fayette county. He was the best candidate, and we want him to run again!
ReplyDeleteI can't bring myself to write about this right now, but something doesn't seem right at all. You don't want to see like a sore loser, but after witnessing what happened with the Ron Paul campaign (he really did win Iowa), I get the feeling we've been somehow slighted.
DeleteEveryone I talked to was voting for or had voted early for Zach. That was not true with Ron Paul--he was more of a lightening rod, yet he won 10 percent statewide?
ReplyDeleteZach had a strong following. While I was picking up signs, a fella rolled down his window and said " I voted for him"
I still cannot believe that over 350,000+ republicans voted for Corker. Those numbers are a little out there!
Our problem is within the GOP. TN --republicans in particular--has a long, unique history of supporting globalists, as you well know!
I mentioned Ron Paul because I know that in South Carolina, someone got hold of the vote tallies thoughout the day. Ron Paul started the day strong, but when he hit 4,000 votes, his totals went down as Mitt's went up. The statistics on that happeneing like that are unreal. It would be no big deal to code these voting machines that way, in fact, one programmmer testified to Congress that it is done.
DeleteThe numbers seem off to me because Corker was known as moderate back in 2006 and won because the conservative vote was split between Van Hillery and Ed Bryant. I remember seeing a poll done around 2010 with Corker loosing horribly to ANY conservative challenger. This is just a primary and not a general, most people don't even register that an election is going on. This just seems really off to me.
