Cindy at Get Along Home has written up a great post about why the whole Homo Matrimony Discussion/Distraction is just the end product of a very long slide:
As long as we’ve still got easy, no-fault divorce, and a culture that excuses and applauds all sorts of “straight” perversion, I’m afraid I just can’t get myself all worked up about a mere one or two percent of the population wishing to do what the rest of us have been doing for a couple of generations now—have a temporarily monogamous life with the person of their choosing, along with all the privileges that the State has chosen to attach to that temporarily monogamous lifestyle. Please read the rest
Let’s face it, Christians, we’re not having this conversation because homosexuals pose some kind of threat to our way of life. (They don’t.) We’re having this conversation because we’re finally at the bottom of a slippery slope that we polished to a glossy finish for ourselves when we separated marriage, sex, and procreation from each other, making the union of matrimony about our own happiness rather than about familial and social stability. Now we’re just trying to stop the slide before we fall off the cliff entirely. But we’re not much interested in doing the hard work of climbing back up to marital sanctity ourselves!
Modern marriage is about being allowed to live in a long-term sexual relationship with whomever you please, for as long as you wish, as long as you both love each other.
If Christians had ignored the Episcopal church (and others, but they were the first) saying contraception was a-ok back in 1930, and not hopped on the planned parenthood bandwagon, we'd be living in a different world today - way different. The National and World Councils of Churches had a large part in pushing contraception onto mainline churches in the progressive era. The Catholic Church stood strong against this, giving them a reputation. Even now, us large family fans of the Reformation get asked "are you Catholic?" The Rockefellers, who put population reduction on the top of their agenda, finally brought Notre Dame president Theodore Hesburgh on board with them. From that point onward, and I suspect multiple inroads were being made to take down the orthodoxy of the Roman Catholic Church at that time, you can see a free-fall in devoutness among Catholics. Just look at those in Congress claiming the name. This philosophy of the world percolated into all your congregational type churches via media and basic worldliness. It's very hard to top-down control autonomous churches, but using the monkey-see, monkey-do qualities of mass media, you'll get them repeating what a pain kids are, how expensive they are, how we don't need as many in a modern society, etc.
Like Ken Ham says, the Answers are in Genesis. They use evolution as their scientific basis for determining the future of the human race. Notice that "they" are doing the directing.
If you don't get anything else from this post - understand this: monied interests have been working overtime for decades to eliminate your family from the human race. That sounds crazy because it is crazy, but if you ever are bold enough to launch yourself into a full-fledged study of eugenics, you'll find them in their own words admitting it. Our own State Department issued a document, NSSM 200, calling for world-wide depopulation (located in Section II).
I would argue that just like in 1984, the Elites are trying to divert sexuality somewhere where it doesn't procreate. If they can get you to sterilize yourself voluntarily, well that's just swell. No need to set up a Dr. Mengele
This stuff is pure demonism, and maybe I'll get around to a post connecting these people to their Dark Lord. Just look up Lucis Trust and Theosophy and things will start to add up or just blow your mind. One of the two will happen, I guarantee!
So to recap, the family, the building block of civilization is under attack and has been for decades. I'm sure you knew that. But if you want to protect yourself from these people you need to understand how they operate - so you don't unwittingly go along with their agenda. "The serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field."
Check out this series by Dr. Dennis Cuddy, another North Carolinian giving you an overview of the master plan of which this homo stuff is just a mere piece.
Thanks for the link. Good info in this post, too. Linked you from my FB page. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for writing this post to begin with, really made me connect some dots.
DeleteIt's so sad, but this truly makes sense. Ever since I was in high school until a couple years ago, I used to wonder why the first thing Christian voters seemed to look for in candidates is whether they support abortion and/or homosexuality. I realized only a couple years ago that these two sins are specifically used by Satan as a way to prevent further procreation - God's creation. These two sins are specifically used by Satan to steal, kill,& destroy people. I'm also realizing that many (I'm still debating on whether that word should be all) forms of contraception do the same.
ReplyDeleteYes, Satan really hates humans because we can be redeemed and he can't. He especially thinks little baby humans are the grossest things ever. It's a shame that so many Christians don't realize that they're contributing to the atmosphere of anti-children with their worldly attitudes. They don't realize what they're missing.
DeleteThanks for stopping by.
This is so true.Gay marriage is not the beginning of the so called slippery slope,it is the bottom of the slope with our culture planted face down in the mud of sin and moral degradation, because we unsanctified marriage and made it a secular institution instead of Holy matrimony as it was ment to be.
ReplyDeleteBoy, the "holy" sure has been separated from the matrimony hasn't it?
DeleteRM, was having a discussion the other day about whether married couples were 'more responsible' back in the 40's, 50's, 60's. Someone proposed that with women not working for the most part, that instead of being responsible, they were trapped and did not have the options that women do today.
ReplyDeleteI'll agree that morals are no where near what they were, but this argument makes a lot of sense.
As far as "Marriage", I think many are using this as an attack on Christianity. God doesn't like them, therefore they don't like God back.
Vox Day has done posts on the real statistics of women working. 1/3 of women have always worked in some manner. It was when the number of women working exceeded the number of men retiring that wages started to go down, supply and demand style.
DeleteWant to talk about being trapped? How about having a $300+ student loan payment, spending $500-600 on daycare, having a husband that views you as a paycheck, and you still have to do all the housework! That doesn't leave much time to pass on Western Civ to your kids through example, does it?
I would say the adultery that went on in the time frame you're discussing, paved the way for the more modern perversions. Following God's call to have children is responsible - because Judgement Day's coming. Good for evil, evil for good. Those who are putting up a fight about homos are identifying themselves as resisters to the twisted powers that be.
First of all, pray that those that profess to be Christians quit using the word Gay for homosexuals and lesbians. By using the word you have watered down the sin. QUIT! The first four of the Ten Commandments define our relationship to God and the fifth is the importance that God puts on the family, Honor thy Father and Mother. Anything that attacks the family attacks God. Keep in mind that homosexuals do not reproduce but "recruit" others into their life style. Always remember, "NOTHING BECOMES ACCEPTABLE IN SOCIETY UNTIL IT FIRST BECOMES ACCEPTABLE IN THE CHURCH." Think about it. Churches were ordaining homosexuals and lesbians before it became acceptable in society.
ReplyDeleteIf I recall, it was those same denominations where contraception was "deemed" ok that homosexuality became normalized. (Unitarians, Episcopalians, with the rest to follow).
DeleteMaybe we need to bring back the Seargent at Arms into the services.
