Like I've said before this is the greatest political experiment since Goldwater. How will the Establishment organism react to having a real true-blue American in their petri dish? It's like an antibiotic, they recoil from it, and in the case of Oklahoma, turn off the lights.
I bet it really burns Romney's grits that the r3volution just sweeped Minnessota, got a decent fraction of his home state of Michigan all while taking half of his home base of Massachusetts.
I hope the Paul movement stays active in the Republican party after ron retires. If they can eventually elect camdidates to congress, they, along with the Tea Party folks will be anle to do some real good.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that some elements of the Tea Party are the ugliest to Ron Paul supporters. On one such forum, I've been accused of being a liberal, a druggie, etc. with as much venom as you would expect from a lib. just because I began discussing some of the issues that the Tea Party people will not discuss.
