Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Rule 5 Sunday Detox Link Up

Giving you some uplift amongst the smoldering ruins of Western Civilization.

Adrienne exposes "Catholic" pro-aborts and the obvious lack of excommunication. It's time for the Catholic church to support the unborn in word AND in deed.

Quite Rightly asks what would Jane Addams think of the Wall Street squalor?

Bunkerville has a piece on progressive foreign policy in action - in Uganda. There must be yet another threat to our "interests"!

Common Cents has the explosive summary of Pat Buchanan's new book, Suicide of a Superpower. Pat Buchanan has run on the Reform Party ticket and is critical of the Establishment. He's a righteous dude, imo.

Jim at Conservative on Fire, tries to keep things positive. Good advice. Like Chuck Baldwin says, Duty is ours, Results are God's.

At Don't Tread on Us, Trestin says take the mote out of your own eye before calling those on the left useful idiots. None of us are immune from being used.

The Sacred Sandwich
Flyover Pilgrim shares some humor on love and dogs.

Freedom by the Way is screaming Stop  the Madness!!!
Sounds like a proponent to my "Repeal it All Plan" (word is Ron Paul will be announcing something similar very soon!)

The writers at GoldmanSachs666  are dishing on Corruption and Goldman Sachs.
Lest you think that corporations are as pure as the wind-driven snow...

The Classic Liberal says Teach Your Children How Government Works with a little help from the late Joe Sobran.

Stacy McCain is doing some intense journalism regarding the shifting around of dates in the early primaries. It's the RINOS of Florida at work yet again, but Marco Rubio, a known early FL primary supporter, disavows all knowledge. Greeting from the Future Ambassador of Vanuatu!

The Right Way shouts out to Hank Jr.

Terry at Thought and Freedom speaks out against our insane intellectual property laws, a pet peave of my husband, also a software programmer. It's so messed up, but Terry has some "thoughts" on the matter.

The Tennessee Sons of Liberty call out Candidate McCain on his dismal gun control stance. He says that while the Feds can't regulate guns the state can. This puts him to the left of the NRA and every American who knows that the 2nd Amendment is your gun license. BTW, Justice Sotomayor held this very same position during her confirmation hearings.

Vox Day points out Incompetence the Art of War. I find it telling that many conservatives will freak out over some public mismanagement, but when our war machine screws up and kills innocent people, they act like nothing has happened. Consistency is the arrow that points to true integrity.

TL at Washington Rebel says take down your American flag and put up the Gadsen in There's No Glory in Ol' Glory.

Cindy at Get Along Home is trusting in God's Provision as her medical coverage ain't covering like it used to. Go subscribe or give as you are led.

Teresa's America presents the History of the US Navy, especially during the Revolution.  John  Adams would be turning in his grave if he knew it was now billing itself as a force for "global good".

The Country Thinker writes on Rand Paul's national Right to Work law. A much needed piece of legislation.

Fuzzy Logic says eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. Break out of your conditioning!

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
