Check out this cool video to see all the deleted footage the MSM doesn't want you to see. Also included is the anthem of Gilets Jaunes, detailing the generational theft that they are calling out. We've been following this story with great interest. Last week, a bureaucrat had his Ferrari taken and dismembered, the pieces being used all over France as emblems of their success. Before you get puritanical about that, know that it costs a fortune in tolls to cross France from one end to the other. The average citizen has gotten to the point where they cannot afford to travel in their own country between the tolls, speed cameras, and high taxes on petrol. Be aware, the country folk still have their guns, and they are now importing Spanish cops to deal with the amount of protesters. Some French police are actually protesting on their days off. The jails are overflowing, and can't contain all the arrested at once. These French people do amazing things in their garages, since they can't afford to go anywhere. They've got guillotines at the ready, and are doing amazing armor plating work on tractors. When you've been taxed to the point where you honestly can't live, this is what happens in France.
Look for exciting things to happen November 11th, the anniversary of the end of World War One. I invite anyone passing through to check out my Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution series to get background on Trump's meeting with Putin tomorrow. Also, a quick skim of War is a Racket by Smedley Butler will remind everyone how war is the Deep State's most profitable business. It enriches them and undermines regular people. World War One is the the war where they took this profit model international in scope and was the beginning of the control grid we now find ourselves in. If Trump is going to do something significant for Armistice Day, I will fully appreciate the poetics of any sort of justice related announcement he might make.

Armistice Day is also the day QAnon says will be significant. I, for one, am curious what will happen tomorrow.
In no particular order:

No one to play with - So many kids are in daycare/aftercare until suppertime. You look up and down your street and there are no kids to be seen, much less biking around the streets. The middle and high schoolers in my area don't come off the bus to close to 5 pm, so the older kids that might watch out for younger ones aren't around in the afternoon. Fortunately, my kids have a lot of siblings, but still, it's pretty lame to be told to go play outside on a barren lawn with no one to play pretend with.

Busybodies/Helicopter Parents - You can't trust that one of your neighbors won't rat you out to CPS if they think your kid is playing dangerously, too far from home, or has no "adult supervision". This could create a nightmare for you and part of this is what drives the "helicopter parent" dynamic. The accusation that you are not "watching" your child translates to you not being a good parent and to protect yourself, you just keep them indoors away from potential criticism. Of course other factors that create the helicopter parent phenomenon are people having fewer kids later in life and treating the children like projects instead of people. Human beings need to practice independence to become confident and mentally healthy, but that's another post.

Extracurricular Activities- In a "chicken-or-the-egg" scenario, parents now put their kids in structured activities to socialize instead of letting them play freely in their neighborhoods. Instead of playing stick-ball in the street with neighborhood kids, they have soccer practice after school, dance lessons, gymnastics, etc. The free fun of playing with kids of all ages in the street is no longer available in many areas. The skills of negotiation and cooperation that you learn in a multi-age group of kids does not exist in an adult-mediated setting. In those paid activities, an adult is always there to make sure that everything goes as planned and wraps up in the time allotted. It is not the same at all as free play. Therefore, these kids are growing up around kids, but not knowing how to independently interact with people without an authority figure directing all activity. No wonder these kids will embrace authoritarianism in college!

Outrageously High Insurance Co-pays - another factor that plays into the helicoptering, is the fact that if your kid falls out of a tree and breaks their arm, you might be on the hook for $5000 bucks or the full price of the x-rays, and casts, etc. Accidents can be a tremendous financial hit for a family that robs them of all their disposable income. These co-pays are so out of whack for what the average income is, the fear is not just "little precious" will hurt themselves, the fear is also that the savings account will be wiped out. Fortunately, for me, my family size gets me a great deal at the hospital should I need it.

Tick Borne Illness - Prior to those Nazis coming across the ratline and setting up shop at Plum Island, no one had to worry about ticks causing life-long diseases. Lyme disease is no joke: it's hard to get rid of and can get into a kid's brain and cause PANDAS, where the kid can't think like they used to and can become moody, anxious, OCD and all sorts of awful stuff. In addition to that, you've got the red meat allergy tick disease that makes you allergic to a suger found in red meats and forces you to really change your diet. Who wants to deal with that? I've heard about two people who've gotten this, so I don't know how rare it really is. Now what you are supposed to do when your child gets bit by a tick is to tape it to a card, date it and note the location of the bite and keep it on file for later, because these diseases often present themselves weeks later and are hard to diagnose. If you have the diseased tick, it's easier to prove your ailment is tick-borne and the insurance will pay for treatment. Because you didn't have enough to keep up with before:)

PedoGate - Let me preface this by saying that kid-snatching is in fact, very rare, but the mere possibility is so terrifying, that many parents just can't deal with having their kids out of their sight. Often quoted is the millions of missing kids statistics. But realize that every time a foster kid runs away from home, as they are wont to do, the foster parent is required to report them as missing. Some foster kids may try to run away more than once a day, and that is definitely skewing the statistics. Also, a relative or parent might take off with a kids and often, the Amber Alert is a parent in a custody battle saying screw it, they're mine. When it comes to family stuff, who knows what's really going on? The statistic we want is the random snatching per capita one. There was one study done 20 years ago that states that only 115 "stereotypical abductions" happen every year, defined as a stranger wanting a ransom. But there are about 58,000 non-family abductions per year that include being lured away by someone the child already knows. The type of abduction that is most terrifying is the one by a stranger that doesn't ask for a ransom and leaves your kid raped, murdered and face down in a gutter. Getting statistics that speak to the actual thing to be afraid of is difficult. That being said, I've noticed on the Missing Children map that Alexandria, VA is one place I'd watch my kids pretty closely. To summarize, parents start hearing the theme music from Unsolved Mysteries when letting their kids out to play and don't let them outside for hours of uninterrupted fun, because of the actual boogie-man.

So when you try to compare growing up thirty or more years ago to today, please remember none of these factors were in play then. When you complain that kids just play computer games, remember that they do no have much support or incentive to be out and about doing outdoor things. Their parents and community do not support them running through their neighborhoods playing. I can guarantee that neighbors would complain and call the cops on a band of kids doing little rascals type stuff and then complain about it on Facebook or Nextdoor, trying to shame the parents. The old biddies that would give you a hard time about your kid playing video games are the first ones that would call CPS on you for them playing past their yard. It's a very strange and artificial situation. It is not a good thing.

This post is of a more practical nature. Despite the plethora of homeschooling support sites, I found myself confused and unsupported when I sought to dual enroll my oldest at a local university. Dual enrollment is a program where high school students, usually juniors and seniors take college course work and get credit for both high school and college at the same time. Ideally, you should begin this process in tenth grade if you want to maximize the dual enrollment courses he/she will take.

So without further ado, here is what you do:

Step 1: Identification

You will need a Photo ID OR a notarized identification form if your child has not yet gotten their Driver's Licence or Permit. FYI: You have to contact your umbrella school to get the proof of attendance to obtain the Driver's Permit as well as study to pass the written test.

Step 2: Testing

Take the ACT. You cannot take the ACT without Photo ID, hence Step 1.
Make sure you list the college you plan to dual enroll at when you register for the ACT. You can choose up to four. This will ensure that your child's score gets sent directly to the college, which is important in the admission process.

Protip: Put your umbrella school's information on a card for your kid to keep in their purse or wallet. They are going to need it when they bubble in their personal info. This would include the school's name, physical address, and all important test number. Check your umbrella school's website to obtain this info. Your kid will need this throughout the rest of high school for the PSAT, more ACT's, Advanced Placement tests, etc.

Protip: Remember you don't have to get the highest score at this stage, just high enough to get through Step 3. Most kids won't have had all the algebra that will be on the ACT. However, check out crackACT for practice tests.

Step 3: Choosing the Right College

Evaluate your choices based on your child's score. Your kid will have to score high enough to meet the minimum standards of admission for the college you plan on dual enrolling at.

Community colleges (Vol State, Motlow State, Pellissippi State, etc.) need a 19. They will sometimes consider a 19 in the sub score area good enough.

Cumberland University requires a 21.

Middle Tennessee State requires a 22.

Tennessee Tech requires a 20.

Bryan University only requires a 3.0 GPA, so that may be one way to circumvent the ACT step.

Check out your local college's website for more details.

Some offer online classes, which can be a big help when you have transportation limitations.

Step 4: Apply to the College

Apply to the college, which will require you to contact your umbrella school for an official high school transcript. Your child might have to write an essay.

Step 5: Approval from your Umbrella School or LEA

Contact your umbrella school to see what forms they might require for the college course to count towards high school credit to square that end of it away.

Step 6: Hope Scholarship Grant

Apply for the Hope Scholarship Dual Enrollment Grant. Your child can take up to 24 hours in their last two years of high school. The Dual Enrollment Grant pays as follows:
<div style="background-color: #f9f9f9; box-sizing: border-box; color: #131e29; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 0.875rem; letter-spacing: -0.375px; line-height: 1.375rem; margin-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 10px;">
The award amounts at eligible two-year institutions and four-year institutions will be as follows:

<ul style="background-color: #f9f9f9; box-sizing: border-box; color: #131e29; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 13px; letter-spacing: -0.375px; line-height: 1.375rem; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding: 0px;">

Up to $500 – Course #1

Up to $500 – Course #2

Up to $200 – Course #3

No award – Course #4

Up to $100 per credit hour – Course #5

Up to $100 per credit hour – Course #6

Up to $100 per credit hour – Course #7

Up to $100 per credit hour – Course #8

It comes out to about $1200/year. I ended up paying out of pocket around $800/year, with my child taking four courses a year. That averaged out to only $200 per three hour class. When you compare that to what some of these tutorials are charging, it is a steal! But notice that the grant is front loaded so you won't pay much (if any) out of pocket if you just want to try it out and take only one class per semester. Colleges vary in how much they charge for a three hour dual enrollment class, but the one we attended charged $500 per class.

NOTE: They will take the Hope Scholarship money out of your child's freshman year award at college. "<span style="background-color: #f9f9f9; color: #131e29; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 0.875rem; letter-spacing: -0.375px;">Students who receive the Dual Enrollment Grant amount for more than four (4) dual enrollment courses over the junior and senior years will have the amount reduced from their Tennessee HOPE Scholarship on a dollar for dollar basis."
<span style="background-color: #f9f9f9; color: #131e29; font-family: "Open Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 0.875rem; letter-spacing: -0.375px;">

But in the scheme of things, we found the 23 hours of college credit she earned before she formally started college to be much more valuable than the measly $1600 bucks. Through scholarships and grants, she still had all her expenses paid.

FYI: You have to maintain a 2.75 GPA to keep receiving the Hope Grant.

Step 7: Choosing and Registering for Classes

Register for classes. You want to choose classes that are part of the General Education Core that practically every college kid in Tennessee will have to take. Safe bets are Speech/Communication, English, American History, Intro to Art/Music/Drama, Psychology, Sociology, etc.

Note: If your kid scores high enough on the ACT English subtest, the college may take that in lieu of credit. My daughter tested out of Freshman English on account of her high subtest score.

Step 8: Keep up with College Deadlines

Make sure you put it on your calendar to register for the next semester. You will possibly need to submit dual enrollment forms to your umbrella school and get approval. The dates can really sneak up on you, so it's good to go ahead and make a note.

Summary

So to summarize, you need and ACT and high school transcript for college admission, then you need the umbrella school's approval for the courses you've chosen, then you may register those classes, and in the mean time, applied for the Hope Scholarship to defray costs.

It was a great experience for my daughter, who gained tremendous confidence from it. Her professors were encouraging and she knew that she was well-prepared.

I hope this has been helpful to someone out there.

First off, it's so nice to see so many people taking advantage of the internet to fact-check government goings on and holding people accountable. It seems that many are already covering the first two legs of the Antichrist System:

Leg 1: The economic "mark of the beast" cashless society culminating in a global currency. This is why the military industrial complex deep-state wishes to have Russia, Syria, North Korea et. al. under its control.

Leg 2: The One World Government that will be united with the cashless society. First, the economies of the previously mentioned rogue states must be rolled up for this piece of machinery to launch into operation.

Now Leg 3 is the one that many aren't paying attention to. It involves the Spirit of Antichrist. Many may ask why people will go along with Legs One and Two, but the answer to that is Leg Three.

Following up my last post about the SBC and George Soros, we can see that there has been a very big shift in power in the evangelical churches over the last twenty years. Now I'm not provincial enough to think that my little subculture reflects on the world at large, viz. people in Timbuktu aren't directly effected by church drama in Tennessee. However, a different spirit has definitely taken over the Bible Belt here in America.

You may not recognize it as the Spirit of Antichrist, but rather as the Spirit of Professionalism. When I became involved in church regularly nearly 20 years ago, classes were put together by a church member passionate about the subject. Sometimes they would use a published resource, but only to supplement their own views. Now this has become completely flip-flopped, beliefs arrived at by individual Bible study are almost non-existent. Now everyone believes what the authority figure tells them via workbook study, webinar, video simulcast, book studies, or the weekly TedTalk, previously known as a sermon. If you disagree with what the "professionals" are saying, try speaking out against it in that environment. Your church "family" will side with "professional" almost every time. The ego investment that people have in these modern study methods is ridiculous.

You see, the Bible teaches that we all have gifts and are part of the same body. If one part of the body suffers, the rest feels it too. If you have a huge gash in your leg, your brain activates and remembers the first aid protocols, then you other leg hops around looking for a washcloth or something with which your hand will apply pressure to stop the bleeding. All parts of your body, even at the cellular level, work together to maintain a healthy, stable organism.

Now in the early, New Testament church, we see local bodies "rolling with the punches". There is not the professionalism and specialization we see today. Rather we see those older in the faith mentoring those younger in the faith. Recall how Paul told Steven not to take any flack because of his chronological youth, but that he had been a believer for quite awhile compared to some. "From a child thou hast known the Scriptures".

I'm not prepared to get into the twists and turns of church history that have brought us to this point. But I will say that up until fairly recently, there was a general belief among those in the evangelical church (Note: no one in the evangelical church refers to themselves this way, only focus groups from Yankeeland use the term.), that the congregation was the body, with the preacher being a part of that overall body. It's called the priesthood of believers, none is greater than the other in the eyes of God, or the reality of the Spirit World. All born again believers have an inheritance from God and are co-heirs with Christ. All have gifts and talents that God intends for them to use, but sadly, the rise of professionalism has cut out the lowly pew sitter, or as some in the "biz" refer to them, giving units.

These seminaries are cranking out ministers with student loan debt and an attitude that the world owes them a living. Case in point: a family member had the job of children's director, not minister mind you, because she was female. She worked on putting together all the kids lessons and activities and did it for free around her full-time healthcare job also that required "on call" availability. She was paid the grand total of $0.00 for these services. She did this job because she loved Jesus and the children and wanted them to come to know Him. Fast forward a few years and she is dismissed from this position so they can hire a full-time man and pay him a full-time salary. They are brow-beating the congregation of this for more money to pay for this type of clownery - a full time salary with was previously handled by a "layperson" in her spare time.

So one thing I've noticed in recent years is this layperson terminology. Previously it was only associated with mainline churches and the Roman Catholic church which both clearly state where you stand in the pecking order. The born again, evangelical church is supposed to be one body, with everyone edifying everyone else in the body, all priests and co-heirs of Christ. That's why we used to call each other Brother so and so and Sister so and so. We are supposed to be a family. How can you have that relationship when one of you is getting paid? That's like those fraternity kids that pay for their friends. If I have to pay for you to care about me, then I'd rather you not bother.

So the point I'm trying to make is that the Bible Belt of America is on the fast track to every other religion on earth, a hierarchical pyramid power structure where the "enlightened" dole out knowledge (gnosis) to the bottom of the pyramid. This same power structure is found in almost every aspect of society and that is one way the Spirit of Antichrist is at work.

This wicked Spirit forms over time a top-down control structure just to control the top. This is currently happening in evangelical America. The Spirit of Antichrist also controls, as readers of the blog know, the New Age movement,.the Coexist attitude, as well as everywhere we find this pedophilia/Pizzagate business. Recall that Father Malachi Martin wrote about the satanic masses that were taking place in the Vatican. Lord only knows the depths of depravity that are going on in high places.

Much more could be written about the Spirit of Antichrist, but I'll just leave you with this: the Spirit of Antichrist accuses the brethren, but the Holy Spirit convicts. Which one is in your life?

I know I haven't been blogging at all lately, but that doesn't mean I haven't been constantly studying and analyzing current events. My interest lately has taken me to the religious sphere and what the Enemy is doing there. I'm so relieved and gratified to see so many more people take a closer look at the globalists and money changers doing their devious deeds, but the religious arena is not getting as much attention.

Background

I have a varied religious background- my dad was in the New Age movement, which means you just read a lot of books about it. Yet we put forth the Christian front in public. We didn't go to church much growing up, but everyone I grew up with was either Church of Christ or General Baptist. After I got married, I got baptized in a Southern Baptist Church, then spent some time in a KJV church, after which I worked hard in another Southern Baptist Church, and since have floated in similar style churches. The point being, is that I have personally witnessed how Southern Baptist churches have changed in just the last 15 years: there is a different spirit in the house!

Russell Moore

So the SBC has this thing called the ERLC, the Ethics and Religious Liberty Council, which is their lobbying arm that hangs out in the Swamp of DC. The guy in charge of that outfit is Russell Moore, whom Donald Trump called a nasty guy. He used to be a democratic staffer for Gene Taylor. He's all down on the Confederate Flag and what he calls the Alt-Right movement. He also heavily intimated that evangelicals who vote Trump weren't real Christians.

So when the SBC had their annual meeting this summer they denounced what they called the "alt-right" movement. They are painting the picture that all the alt-right, a label that many might use to describe myself, are skinhead white supremacists. As anyone who has been following this movement of populism for the last 10 years knows, this movement involves freedom loving people from around the world from every color and creed. But the SBC is trying to redefine the term alt-right to its people as hateful skinheads or something.

Problem-Reaction-Solution

So when that obvious false flag provocation in Charlottesville happened, Russell Moore and his buds are on it like white on rice! He's tweeting up a storm about these dastardly alt-right people

The so-called Alt-Right white supremacist ideologies are anti-Christ and satanic to the core. We should say so. #SBC17

— Russell Moore (@drmoore) June 14, 2017

Oh, and he's holding up Senator Ben Sasse as a model statesman. Recall that Ben Sasse was the guy who was a tutor in the Congressional page program when Denny Hastert was still the big dog. Ben is also the guy that Jack Probisec attempted to interview (links to video) and absolutely freaked out and ran away, saying "you're a liar!!!", like a toddler. Weird. I follow the twitter accounts of these leaders in the SBC and it can be quite amusing to watch them sit and tweet at each other all day long. Seriously, it's taken me six months to scrape out a few minutes to slap this post together, but these guys literally sit and tweet at each other in their cushy offices every fifteen minutes. They then take incredible vacations, but will harp on how Christians need to give more. It's disgusting, so back to this issue at hand:

The ERLC is part of the Evangelical Immigration Table, a group that receives George Soros money, about 3 million in the 2009-2010 fiscal year alone. That year it also recieved a million from the Ford Foundation. Added to this, Ken Barbic, also the Chairman of ERLC is a big lobbyist for big Agra who benefits heavily from the cheap and easily exploited immigrant population. These big wigs at the top of SBC are sold on the idea of immigrants replacing the diminishing native SBC congregants.

You may have heard of the old joke, these kids come to school with a something that represents their faith. The Jewish kid brings a menorah, the Catholic kid brings a crucifix, and the Baptist kid brings a casserole. The SBC brand has been completely destroyed by a number of different factors: failure to preach on reality, Calvinism/Lordship Salvation, music changes, manipulative outreach techniques, a new way of doing things every three years, and brain drain. Each one of these could warrant its own post, but you get the big idea. The deacon who arrives at church with a Sons of the Confederacy bumper sticker and loaded down with sweet potato casserole is in the cross-hairs of Russell Moore's SBC.

So we all know this Charlottesville thing is about as phony as a $3 bill. The fact that these SBC "leadership" types are calling the alt-right the Spirit of Antichrist on cue after demonizing the alt-right just a couple of months ago makes me think this whole thing is a psy-op to keep evangelicals and SBC people from forming a coalition with the alt-right, a group that includes all of our conspiracy analyzing friends. I can tell them that all the good ol' boys out there love Donald Trump and nothing in the world is going to change that. When Donald Trump called Russell Moore a nasty guy with no heart, he nailed it.

I'm so happy to have her here on the other side of my tummy! The insomnia associated with the restless legs syndrome is finally over! She was 8lbs and 7oz. She had some trouble breathing upon being born and had to be transported to the NICU from the birthing center. By the next morning, she was doing fine and had graduated to the regular nursery by the end of the day. I think we have met our family out-of-pocket now! Thanks Obama for taking all of my disposable income!

Seriously, when my 13 yo was born, the individual deductible was $250, and now it is $1500. The out of pocket max was maybe $1500 and now it is $4000. I used to be able to budget around $1500/pregnancy and now I have to basically plan on the full $4000 for the same services I've always gotten. We had a hospital admission last spring for my younger boy, who apparently has some birth defects that were undetected, already costing me $4000 on him. Our calendar year starts over in April of all things, so I'm trying to think of what else to do medically before it starts over. I so hope we see the insurance rates come down to where they were just ten years ago!

Nov 14th: Wikileaks releases insurance files, SHA-256 hashes do not match those tweeted in October.

We also find a fair amount of oddness in the recent John Pilger interview of Assange where we see evidence of Morph cutting and no pictures of Assange and Pilger in the same shot.

What does it all mean?

It could mean that Wikileaks, if it is compromised, could put out info on whoever they want using the credibility 100% accuracy track record over ten years that Julian and his cohorts have established.

Julian may have someone out there who is not supposed to throw out his dead man switch until it is confirmed that he is in fact dead. The parties responsible for this bizarre situation may be keeping the illusion of him being in the embassy to further their own goals, or just be in a holding pattern until they figure out what to do.

Julian may be alive, but renditioned to who knows where (this article surmises Charlotte, NC). There is an old joke that a $2 wrench will be break the tightest encryption when applied to the encryptor. I sincerely hope that's not the case.

The original Wikileaks caches has been archived, and there's plenty there to chew on. It's shown us that that the DNC conducts themselves like junior high school girls and not professionals, which is reassuring. It's shown us that those in the inner circles are compromised and probably blackmailed what with all this satanic spirit cooking and pizzagate mess. We also learned that Hillary smells of boiled cabbage, farts, and urine according to Podesta. Yes, we have learned lots of things from the bravery of Wikileaks.

Many people have been totally freaked about the Spirit Cooking stuff. My daughter was witnessing to many online who were atheists, but are now reconsidering that position based on sheer creepiness of those images. I hope this all serves to wake people up to the true reality that the Bible state:
I don't know how much more blatant it could get when you check out the satanic images associated with it all.
This will have to be a bullet-form post, as I am on my seventh baby and am getting about four hours a sleep a night if I'm lucky due to restless legs syndrome. Yes, I've tried Magnesium and continue to try different things to get my leg muscles not to twitch at night. My due date is New Year's Eve, so I've got a ways to go with this. I've been dealing with it in earnest since sometime in September. I've dealt with it in the past three pregnancies - on the fifth, I was given Ambien, but I'm going with midwives this time and they aren't allowed to give that. I've got my 5 and 7 year old going to school on account of their severe speech problems, so I have to get up at 5 to get them on the bus at 6. Meanwhile, my oldest is off to a local college most days doing the dual enrollment thing. This leaves me with two kids, 11 and 13 to homeschool. They're having to learn to be independent, which is what I want. They both have some learning "issues" which makes it complicated, but hopefully everything will work out before they grow up-ifkwim.

The Amish are becoming politically active. I was sitting in a waiting room at Vandy and an Amish lady in full attire came up to me and asked if I would be interested in some literature. Knowing that they're not known for being evangelistic, I happily took her pamphlet to see what it was about. It was all about the Mark of the Beast microchip and the testimony of a scientist that worked on it. Also included was how the Council on Foreign Relations was pushing for a one-world government, etc. So the kind of things I've blogged on were being passed out in print by plain people. Pretty cool. I've got to figure the harassment that they've endured under Obama regarding raw milk and Ag Dept. regulation has woken them up.

The Wikileaks had a huge impact on proving without a shadow of a doubt what we've been saying all along about how things work behind the scenes. The way the DNC talks internally is akin to high school girls plotting. My oldest daughter actually read every Wikileaks dump and gave me a synopsis after each one. According to her, they should have listened to a guy named Brent, he kept telling them that they were going the wrong direction, but no one would listen to poor Brent. The blatant collusion in DNC to shut out Bernie, their populist candidate, was beyond shameful and many of the Bernie supporters did not show up to vote for Hillary like the dutiful minions they were thought to be. Yes, alienating the principled part of your base is not a winning strategy. Wikileaks noted in a tweet, that the purpose of the primary is to get the most competitive candidate and this process was thwarted with the bogus DNC super-delegate scheme.

We also learned that Hillary's campaign manager, John Podesta is a complete freak. We learned that this inner circle is supportive of deeply satanic art and possibly ritual. That Spirit Cooking stuff really made an impact on blacks and latinos. My daughter was responding to different atheists with Bible verses as they recoiled from the stuff they saw when they jumped down that rabbit hole. Some of them were saying maybe there's something to this whole "God" thing after all. Yes, that's how messed up it is. The performance artist woman who used coagulated blood and body fluid to do her "art" has been on the cover of Elle, and consults with Lady Gaga and Jay-Z, etc. One big, happy Illuminati family. Which leads me to this picture:

So the significance of the 14 and the fish goes back to Egyptian mythology surrounding the birth of Horus. Recall that Blavatsky and Theosophy revolves around the ancient mystery religions of which this type of thing would qualify. The Spirit Cooking stuff springs from Alesteir Crowley's satanic Thelema religion.

Here is John telling someone last March what he really thinks about Hillary:

<div style="background-color: white; border-left: 5px solid rgb(221, 221, 221); box-shadow: rgb(238, 238, 238) 60px 0px 55px -35px inset; color: #363636; font-family: "Open Sans", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 24px; overflow: hidden; padding: 4px 15px 18px;">
People tell me that Hillary is acting ‘like a retard’ since her head injury. Frankly, considering her normal behavior, I’m surprised anyone noticed! (this is a joke!) Have someone talk to her doctor and see if there’s anything he can give her.

<div style="background-color: white; border-left: 5px solid rgb(221, 221, 221); box-shadow: rgb(238, 238, 238) 60px 0px 55px -35px inset; color: #363636; font-family: "Open Sans", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 24px; overflow: hidden; padding: 4px 15px 18px;">
Also, I’ve noticed she’s had an ‘odor’ lately. It reminds me of a combination of boiled cabbage, urine and farts. I’m guessing it’s either connected to her fall or simply the fact that she rarely bathes. Outside of encouraging her to take a shower once in a while, I don’t know what to do about this. — any suggestions would be appreciated.

Further down the rabbit hole is the confluence of pizza places in Washington DC that until this past week, sported logos recognized by the FBI as child pedo sold here signs. (Beneath these pizza places is an abandoned tunnel system.) Guess who in the Wikileaks went there for pizza a lot in very cryptic ways? Yes, the same ones that have filth as art in their homes. This is a line of investigation that I'm not prepared to go into, but I have blogged before about the Franklin Coverup and know that children are being trafficked by people in mighty high places in this country. We heard in that last weekend before the election that the NYPD had evidence found on Weiner's laptop that Hillary Clinton and Bill were sexually involved with children. Some speculated that Comey opened the investigation to seize that evidence from the NYPD. We know that the Clintons and Jeffrey Epstein took several trips to his private island for you know what. As anyone who's read my blog before knows, I like to get at the source of things, and not talk in talking points. Let me tell you what, the mainstream media doesn't want these things to EVER become talking points.

Now to Foundations. I'm proud that I did a lot of work (when I had fewer kids!) on understanding how foundations were used to overthrow our country. It all started with Carnegie and Rockefeller, and the Clintons just followed the proven technique to use this tax-sheltered entity to stash all your ill-gotten cash, socially engineer, and then spread it to your friends. My daughter has a great graphic she made depicting how this works that I need to get posted. My hope is that busting open the Clinton Foundation will lead the public to look at the rest of these foundations and the undemocratic influence they have. The Ford Foundation funding La Raza, for example. George Soro's Open Society funding all the rent-a-mobs causing chaos in our country right now. I hope President Trump will lock that scumbag up on charges of Sedition and Treason for all the junk he's pulled.

One thing I've ascertained in that Donald Trump is not a part of the inner circle that paints with blood and hates Americans like me. I'll be praying for his safety, that God give him and his family some more guardian angels. The last family to say proudly "America First" was the Lindbergh family and remember what happened to the Lindbergh baby? That's why we need to be vigilant about the people that surround him. I think everyone in the patriot movement is wary of the threat of neocon types worming their way in like they did to Reagan. It's going to be harder and harder for them to pull that kind of thing with the internet, may it always be free!

I voted on the very first day of early voting. I wasn't planning on it, but was at the park anyway with the community center right there, and I thought, why not? There was one guy in line who was 68 and had never voted before. Let me tell ya, he didn't look like a Hillary fan. I'm so proud of regular Americans coming out to vote to the extent that all the dead in Philadelphia and absentee votes in Broward County couldn't overcome it!

I think we can see where the problem areas are. Note that a lot of that blue in Mississippi represent sanctuary cities. So California used to be able to go republican before Reagan did the amnesty thing and now it s a solid blue state. Food for thought. But county by county, you can see how flyover country feels about the status quo bankster establishment. Left or Right, the people want the Wall Street bankster types out of our government. Hillary voters are too dumb to realize that she is bought and paid for by the 1% and the Saudi Arabia government, where gays are executed and girls have their privates cut up.

What kind of pardon will Hillary get? The thing is, when you start investigating all this stuff, Republicans will get roped into suspicion. It's all so mind blowing. I've been waiting for Hillary to get called out for a very, very long time, and am so happy we have a President who is willing to do it. Notice how Rudy on these TV shows is not ruling out letting Hillary go. We've got a major rule of law situation in this country and it needs to be rectified. I'm hoping that we all get to see some justice!

The King James Bible has no copyright. For the sake of argument, how do you copyright God's Holy Scriptures? How to you get the up the audacity to put a "copyright-use with permission" proviso on the Holy Bible? Also, does the Holy Spirit get a cut of the royalties? How does that work? Can you actually copyright the words of Christ? Unless, of course, the manuscripts they are translating from are not in fact holy. But that's a whole other post!

In order to get a separate copyright, the new work must be at least 10% different than the original work. Therefore, the butchered and twisted wording is an awkward attempt to get a new Bible published so that it can start making somebody some $$$$.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (I Cor 2:12)

One thing I have noticed is that the preachers that emphasize giving away their materials for free because of this verse above, are usually cut out of a different cloth than those that follow in lockstep with "Cloned Christianity". Contrast that attitude with the evangelical industrial complex that is making huge amounts of money with all their Bible versions and companion "resources". Here is a link to a Bloomberg article describing the tremendous revenue that this industry brings in.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. (2 Peter 2:3)

With this verse in mind, consider this excerpt from The New Yorker article, "The Good Book Business" by Daniel Radosh:

“I almost liken it to what happened in radio,” Wayne Hastings, the publisher of Nelson’s Bible division, said. “Look at satellite radio—what is that, a hundred and seventy-eight stations? And it’s all niched. We’re doing the same thing in Bibles.” In this process, style is nearly as important as content. Bible publishers depend heavily on focus groups, surveys, and trend-spotting firms. For cover designs, they subscribe to fashion-industry color reports. Tim Jordan, a Bible marketing manager at B. and H. Publishing Group, an arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, said, “It doesn’t have to be ‘a King James Bible in black bonded leather, and we might offer it to you in burgundy.’ In years past, that might have been O.K., but the game has changed.

There are also commercial incentives. The King James Version is in the public domain, but if a company wants to publish a study Bible or a devotional Bible using a modern translation, it will have to pay royalties to the owner of that translation."

Much more could be said about this and I encourage you to look at the article to see why the teen "Biblezine" volumes were created: So that teen girls could carry their Bibles to school without being embarrassed. (Ashamed of the Gospel are we?) That must be part and parcel of some kind of new teaching I haven't heard yet. Filing it away under "itching ears"...

Going back to the verse in 2 Peter quoted above, the Greek word that is translated to merchandise is emporeuomai: to travel in, to traffic, by impl. to trade (Strong's Concordance) I've often thought of the modern Christian bookstore as an emporium of itching ear "resources."

Zoom out a level here, and let's talk about copyright in general and how this is being used by TPTB (The Powers That Be) to control everything on our planet. Copyright law is used to control the patents that make proprietary medicine so expensive, as well as medical devices. Copyright law is used to control ideas and information in all forms of media, with Disney renewing copyright on Mickey Mouse in perpetuity, for example. Copyright law is used in our food chain, with Monsanto patenting their GMO corn and fining neighboring farmers for cross-pollination. Food, medicine, thought, is there any big area of human necessity I'm leaving out? It seems that this copyright/patent issue is a major tool of control for some mighty powerful people. It's also a way that information goes down the memory hole.

Consider this quote from Paul J. Heald at the University of Illinois as interviewed in this Atlantic article, A Hole in Our Collective Memory: How Copyright Made Mid-Century Books Disappear:

"Copyright correlates significantly with the disappearance of works rather than with their availability,"

To be clear, I'm not saying someone can't get saved from one of these Bibles, but I see many problems with them that is stunting Christian growth.

My husband had the radio in the car turned on yesterday, and it was more adoration of all things military. We already have Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, D-Day, Pearl Harbor Day, and now they're taking over July 4th. It's every other month the media and the small towns that listen to that same media constantly that pump soldier worship in our face.

Am I against soldiers? No, but you have to admit, it's starting to get pretty creepy. It's like Imperial Rome or one of those scenes from a totalitarian dictatorship where the public is forced to watch the military parades of power down the street. I am for National Guard and the original intent of men fighting for their homes when they are under imminent attack. I am for the Swiss style militia system where every citizen is trained to defend their country in an organized fashion. The United States once had a similar system, but given our massive size, it was deemed that the National Guard system was more efficient. In the long run, it has separated the masses from their part in defense of country and allowed a massive military-industrial complex to take over.

A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defence agst. foreign danger, have been always the instruments of tyranny at home. Among the Romans it was a standing maxim to excite a war, whenever a revolt was apprehended. Throughout all Europe, the armies kept up under the pretext of defending, have enslaved the people.”

It's almost as if the media would have us believe that the Founding Fathers and all their warnings about central banking and standing armies never existed. They'd prefer that you'd never think about the fact that such a small percentage of the colonial population overthrew the British Imperial Army. Don't think about how kids can't ride bikes or go to the playground without having a CPS investigation opened up on them - freedom!

Don't think about how you can't go buy a car with cash without the risk of being pulled over and having it all civil forfeitured away with no evidence of wrongdoing -freedom!

Don't think about how we pay more taxes than ever before to make some people exceedingly wealthy -- freedom!

Don't think about all those things, just wave the flag and be happy as the tanks rolls down the street.

I've been confused about what Kent Hovind was actually accused with. Here Coach Dave Daubenmire puts in plain English. Currently, he is in jail for structuring and is on trial for mail fraud for not hand carrying his court appeals to the court (because he's in jail). He is also charged with contempt for continuing to appeal. He was within his legal rights to do both these things. There are no charges right now for tax issues or anything like that.
In my forays through the Churchianity websites, I find that many are afraid of Isis. No doubt it is a brutal collection of the craziest thugs Islam has to offer. But where did this group come from and how are they so fantastically armed? You'd think with a multi-billion dollar military and intelligence network, the US government would have more of an explanation than the shrugged shoulders and exasperated pleas for <strike>military contracts and sweet, sweet free money</strike> funding and military action.

Here is Ben Swann, investigative reporter extraordinaire, explaining how Isis came to be.

I think if someone took time to track down all these funny sounding names, we could probably cross-reference a lot of them to CIA training camps and the like. I'm really getting tired of our churches telling us how evil Isis is, but then not acknowledging, caring, researching where these people are actually coming from. They won't because East Asia has always been at war with Oceana, don't you know? Come on, the antichrist has got to get us all organized before he can make his final moves. But the USA could never, ever be apart of that because: Jesus, apple pie, kittens!!! Oh say can you see....

The lie falls apart when people know the truth; the Truth sets you free, etc.

Disclaimer: This is not a comprehensive dyslexia post. This is broad brush look at what homeschooling with a special need (such as not being able to read) affects your life.

Background: My husband and I are extremely academic people. Straight A's, technical, scientific degree-holders, early readers, and self-professing nerds. We met on the school bus to math team competition, and found we both knew Rush Limbaugh's call-in number by heart. Get the picture?

My oldest daughter learned to read at five. I didn't want her going to kindergarten and getting screwed up with whole language, so I thought teaching her phonics before she went would head all that off at the pass. She learned to read without much effort on my part. When I pulled her out of school a couple of years later, I thought homeschooling would be a breeze. Teach them to read, then they'll teach themselves everything else. Simple. Easy Peasy.

Unless, your kid cannot read no matter what you do. I mean no matter WHAT you do.

My next kid was the most motivated to read child you've ever met. If I told her to stand on head and chew bubble gum to learn to read, she would have done it with zeal. I started trying to teach her like my older kid in kindergarten, but it was obvious that she wasn't ready. I said, hey this is what people must mean when every kid is different. So I tried again when we started first grade at age six. At first I tried A Beka, but she just didn't get it. Then I tried Explode the Code, then Hooked on Phonics, then just a random phonics workbook, then just flashcards, then just one word one day. We sculpted the word out of play-doh, we wrote it on paper, we said the words individually over and over. At the end of the day, I held up the word and asked her what it was. She acted like she had never seen it before. That's the moment I knew that there was something highly unusual going on here. Something that I was ill-prepared to deal with.

As a member of HSLDA, I took advantage of the Struggling Learner help-line and emailed my situation to one of their Special Education teachers. They emailed me back a plan. I went to the pediatrician and explained what was happening, and they basically said, yep, sounds like dyslexia all right. Here's a place <strike>that will charge you $75 and hour to do stuff you can do at home</strike> that specializes in treatment that one of our physicians <strike>that makes six figures </strike>uses for her daughter. My insurance would not pay for speech therapy, which she needed for a few sounds she still didn't have. So I had to formulate my own IEP, based on what the special education teacher at HSLDA advised me.

Background on this child: she was a late-talker, which has been the pattern for most of the rest of my kids. She would put together these 48 piece jigsaw puzzles over and over again, and for awhile I was wondering if she was autistic. When she began talking at 3 1/2, it was very garbled and remained so until she was five. By first grade, she was just down to about four sounds she couldn't make: f, v, th, and zh. Her hearing was fine, and the audiologist office informed me that a auditory acuity screen would be $500 which my insurance wouldn't cover. I asked what do you do when you find they have auditory processing problems? They said we tell them to do Earobics, a computer program that costs $60 at the time. I just bought the program, assuming something inside her head is not picking up on the differences between sounds.

So I put together a custom IEP just for her half way through 1st grade.

Speech Therapy - Straight Talk, a speech therapy program for home.
Earobics- a computer program that supposedly trains the ear to distinguish between sounds, it has mixed reviews.
The Secret Stories - a visual phonics program, which is key when you can't hear the sounds accurately. Each sound comes with it's own story and the letters are like people who "do" things. Like the letter O, when not saying his name OOOOOOOOO long superhero sound, is in disguise and doesn't like to go to the doctor and doesn't want that tongue depressor to touch the sides of his mouth when he says ooo, and that's the short sound he makes. It forces the kids to do a motion with each sound, which is important for dyslexic kids, who tend to be very kinesthetic in their learning style.
McGuffey Readers - free and downloadable online. I like them because they have the new words introduced at the top and you can make flashcards and just work on those words for awhile before diving into the story. I would keep our Secret Story book and every time we came to a Secret Story, we'd look it up, remind ourselves of the story and continue with the word.
Brain Integration Training - I'm not sure if it helped, but I tried writing eights and the whole slew of exercises as often as I could. She hated it and it was hard to get her to do them. I did get some helpful advice from Dianne Craft's website about putting pictures behind the words to stick them in the memory. I took the reading lists from the back of the Secret Stories book and made flashcards out of them, putting the picture behind or incorporating into the word, always making the phonics sound in the list we were focusing on in a different color. These word lists gave us some words in her memory banks to work with.
Saxon Math - I used the Saxon Math worksheet pad things to get her math facts in. Fortunately, math is a language she understands and has always done well at math. Of course her numbers are all backwards, but she gets the right answers.

Of course, I had already spent my budget for the year and this stuff came to about $300, where am I going to get the money to pay for all this? I pondered this as I walked to mailbox, and found a letter from my mom that contained a check for $500 that she sent for absolutely no reason except to answer a prayer I hadn't even had time to make yet. So I'm anxious for nothing.

Anyway, I kind of dropped my older kid, who could read just fine. I told her she's going to be ok in this life and gave her a basic of list of stuff to get done while I worked with her sister. Having a kid who could not read was a major crisis for me, MAJOR. I executed the plan above like a drill sergeant. Think Full Metal Jacket without the swearing. I chewed a hole in my tongue to keep myself from yelling "the word is happen, HAPPEN, HAAAP -PEEEN, AAUGGHHH!!

It was torture for me to watch her struggle with the obvious. We schooled through the summer and it took an eternity to work though that first McGuffey reader. My goal became the Fourth McGuffey Reader by Fourth Grade. It seemed like a reasonable goal if we kept at it. I'm happy to say that we met our goal and that the fourth reader blew me away with how tough it was. She was reading the Song of Hiawatha and Dickens, etc. I thought, man, I didn't read that stuff until 11th grade American Lit. Well, come to find out that the McGuffey Readers don't correspond with our modern grade system at all. Let me tell you how she bounced around the house to find she'd been reading on a much higher level than she thought she could. She started reading the American Girl books on her own, and this past year (a sixth grader) has been reading the Narnia books and more sixth grade stuff. Praise God. She still doesn't do well on standardized tests, and I may seek an official diagnoses for her so that she can take the ACT with dyslexic accommodation.

Of course, while I was putting my all into getting her to read, I totally dropped the ball with her little brother, who eventually learned to read kind of sort of with the 100 Easy Lessons. He still doesn't like to read because he's a boy or something. I try to make him read a chapter from a Magic Treehouse book a day. He's very quick with his math and while he talked late too, he hasn't had any speech problems that would indicate auditory processing issues.

The next kid, my redhead boy, is six years old and not very intelligible with his speech. He goes to the early intervention preschool and probably kindergarten next year due to the amount of speech therapy and occupational therapy he needs. I know when I'm out of my depth and don't want the pride of saying I homeschool ALL of my kids to keep one of them from getting the help they need. He loves school very much because of the routine. Whenever he does learn to speak intelligibly, he's probably unbelievable dyslexic underneath all that. Everyone who works with him says that he's bright and no, he doesn't have autism.

The next kid. my little ball of cute, also has speech issues. I can understand what she's trying to say, but she deletes the ends off of most all of her words. Her speech eval revealed she's 1%, as in 99% of 3 year olds speak better than her. So she does speech therapy once a week, and most definitely qualifies for pre-K. She can write her name and loves to color, cut and glue, etc. We were playing around with reading and she seems to get it except she can't pronounce many of the words right.

The next kids, my second redhead girl, seems to actually be talking on time. It's been so long (15 years) since I had a "normal" talking kid, it's kind of freaking me out.

So my initial vision of homeschooling with everyone reading silently while a cross-stitch and keep an immaculately clean house didn't happen. Schooling takes way more time than it does for most homeschool moms. We do a lot of things together and out loud. Many times, I do the writing and she does the talking because doing both will stress their systems to where nothing will happen. Learning is what's important and not comparing what you're doing to what "school" is doing is critical to moving forward with confidence.
This is kind of old news, but I'm trying to honor the request of Richard and Sabrina Wurmbrand's son, Michael who claims that the organization that his father founded has been 'jacked by unscrupulous persons.

I used to get the newsletter and thought it represented a sound organization. That was in my more naive days. It is public knowledge that when the police opened up a child molestation case against the president of VOM, Tom White, he proceeded to OD on prescription meds and alcohol at VOM headquarters. A suicide note was found in his car. The VP of the organization has a history of embezzlement. Michael wrote a letter to Lighthouse Trails, a great discernment ministry, detailing the shenanigans he's witnessed inside the organization that his parents founded.

Here are some of Michael Wurmbrand's issues with VOM:

Donors should be aware that:

* Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) spent $28 million dollars — not on the mission field but to build its own headquarter thus in economic times difficult for us all, encouraging construction in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, USA, a town of only about 32,000. To my knowledge, the previous headquarters of VOM in the same town cost in the neighborhood of about $90,000! To read more, [click here]. The present chairman of VOM is a former mayor of Bartlesville and was part of the city leadership.

Voice of the Martyrs headquarters in Bartlesville, OK

* This was done in secret, until the buildings were erected. Neither I nor the donors were told of such grandiose projects. It is hard to believe this could be done, but correspondence I display on the web (see link below), should convince you. I worked with VOM from Los Angeles, California, USA and never was part of the VOM board of directors. The donors only saw money spent for projects, and they trusted that the word “projects” referred to missionary work, like helping widows of Christians killed in Nigeria!

* A repeated offender 3rd degree felon, who as of 2013 was STILL UNDER A-10-YEARS CONVICTION SENTENCE AS AN EMBEZZLER was named the Voice of the Martyrs Vice President. Tens of thousands of dollars out of contributions for supposed missionary work were extended as a loan to him to pay back some of what he stole and escape parole supervision. To read more on this convicted felon, [click here or here].

*All of the above occurred while, at the same time, without any reasons proffered, they sent a termination of employment letter to me, Richard Wurmbrand’s son, who founded the mission, four days only after I asked for an independent investigation of the expenses and travels of the suicidal and suspected pedophile past chairman of VOM, USA.

* Voice of the Martyrs had agreed reluctantly in 2001 to help about 100 believers who were imprisoned 5-10 years for their faith in communist prisons in Romania, currently destitute in their 80s and 90s, with less than $1 (yes, one dollar) a month. As outrageous as it sounds, considering tens of millions of dollars solicited from you, it is documented. It was raised in the following year to the value of about 2 tanks of gas/month worth of help only because I wrote feet of email messages and renounced a total of over $100,000 of my salary over four years (I accepted being paid only $500/month!) just so these Christian martyrs would be helped. To read more on the “VOM claims of pretended lack of money,” [click here].

*A fundraiser for VOM was promised to be paid a percentage or cut of the funds he raised! We are far indeed from charitable actions through which one sacrifices for the interests of others.

Regardless your opinion on evolution, fundies, or things of that nature, you need to know that Kent Hovind is being persecuted by the government disproportionately to anything wrongdoing that was initially charged against him. If they can do it to him, they can do it to you.

The original charge had to do with tax evasion or mishandling money. Got news for you, they could charge any one of us with the same thing if they don't like you. I first saw a Kent Hovind video in Sunday School while I was in college. What he said about commercial bread not having any nutrients was something I filed away as interesting. What he said about seeds containing anti-cancer nutrients has also shown to be true. That goes along with what the Bible says about eating the seed of the field for good health. He's a very entertaining speaker, but when he speaks at the heart of the matter like this, you know that the eye of Sauron will soon be upon him:

Here he is doing a libertarian Christian rapid fire explanation of what's going on in this crazy world, as in everything a Christian needs to know in less than half an hour:

Needless to say, he's not BFFs with the US Gov.

Today he's going to trial again. Here are the details. The man has been in prison for several years now and its obvious its politically motivated with the money they've spent to prosecute him.

First off, there is becoming apparent, even to unbelievers, of a huge divide between a New Testament church fueled by the Holy Spirit and this counterfeit that is driving actual believers out of church. Spurgeon predicted this all over 100 years in his sermon: Churchianity vs. Christianity.

Whenever Churchianity has ruled, revelry and wantonness have been winked at, so long as saints' days, sacraments, and priests have been regarded. God's law is nothing to the high church, so long as church forms are scrupulously and ostentatiously observed. We should see maypoles erected and danced around on a Sunday afternoon within a year, if Churchianity had its way; the Book of Sports would be revived, and the evening of the Lord's day would be dedicated to the devil. Leave the church open, observe saints' days, decorate the altar, sing "Hymns Ancient and Modern," put on tagrags, and all goes smoothly with Churchianity: preach the gospel, and denounce sin, and straightway there is no small stir.

Can you disagree with any of that? Of course he's calling out the Anglicans, but one could also apply the same to Hawaiian shirt preachers and the forms that they all follow. Wantonness surely has been winked at in our time, just as the Bible prophesied about the ear ticklers that would be prominent in the last days.(2 Tim 4:3)

When I am looking for a church, I always strive to find the most Bible-believing one I possibly can. Even so, I have witnessed some of the craziest/sick stuff in church that I would never have thought possible. I've seen my Sunday School teacher's mug shot on TV while getting my five year old ready for kindergarten. He had a baby-sitter club going on in the youth group. I've visited the church of a close relative whose pastor was busted by the FBI for arranging dates with middle school boys via the internet. I can't believe I shook his hand - yuck. I've seen a middle aged woman who was supposed to be keeping the church's records literally run down the hall and screech out the parking lot when I asked for them. This only scratches the surface of what I've seen at church in the last 15 years. I could write a book, but it would be like Peyton Place.

And if anything like the above happens near or around you, you're not supposed to talk about it, because that's gossip and we don't want to spread unpleasantness do we? If you get hurt in these situations, just pray that God will help you suck it up and be quiet about it. Whatever you do, don't make waves, don't confront anyone because that is division. Remember your public school training about getting along, right? Well, the Bible actually tells us differently. I had to employ a Matthew 18 confrontation to resolve a situation in church before and it works beautifully. But the thing is, you have to be willing to go all the way with it -even before the church, which can be kind of scary. I realize now to fix the problems in that church, I may have had to do a couple more such confrontations to get the leaven out. Why me? Because no one else would and I just couldn't take it anymore.

One thing I've noticed in Paul's letters is that he usually either begins or ends with calling someone out on the carpet. He lists their name for us to read today and tells that church to mark and avoid that person because of bad theology or some other major problem. These verses never get preached on.

This is in large part due to the fact that people are "running to and fro" (Dan 12:4) Throughout most of human history, ordinary folk did not travel far from where they were born, giving you roots and your family a reputation. You couldn't just move to another town and start all over again easily. The early church was a community of believers in a fixed area and except for missionary types like Paul and his cohorts, they weren't moving around every 3-5 years as is now common nowadays. A pastor told me that once upon a time in countryside America, churches had sergeants-at-arms and church discipline was a serious thing. You went to the church you could walk or ride your buggy to, so this church "choice" phenomenon wasn't a factor in how the church operated.

Fast forward to the motor car era and now your choices of churches opened up quite a bit. Pastor too dry at your family church? Well, just go a few miles over to the next church, it only takes about 10 minutes. And so it began. With all the moving around, people became a lot less accountable. Whereas before, you lived your whole life in the same community of people, now just as your new church gets to know you, you might be transferred away or choose to go somewhere else. It's hard to gauge spiritual growth of someone in these circumstances. So we're left with this consumerist church as Spurgeon describes with the same introductory to Christianity pap that bores to tears those of us who have actually read our Bible through more than once. (Yes, we're the few, but proud - am I right or what?)

All this moving around creates a perfect storm where false teaching and chaos can breed. There's nothing new under the sun, however. Going back to Paul's letters, we see that the early church had issues as well. The difference is that Paul addressed them publicly so that the church would not get led into error. There are a few today who are filling that role, so I thought I'd share some discernment sites that I enjoy that keep tabs on error in the church - particularly the New Age/emergent/contemplative spirituality that is/will be a precursor to the Antichrist one-world religious system. aka coexist.

So anyway, I see two different camps in Churchianity: the seeker-sensitive feel-goods and the hard-core reformed types as personified by John McArthur (who denies the blood atonement-yikes). It is the dialectic at work- you have these choices and no others. Reformed churches are becoming popular as an alternative to the Rick Warren model. Both turn into a works-based system. In the former, you give your all to their organization, I won't call it a church. In the later, their Lordship Salvation is really a very Catholic understanding of grace, making one think that their "reformation" was not complete, but that's a post for another day.
This article is a great summary of why many Bible-believing Christians don't go to church anymore. Although Baldwin doesn't bring that up, he makes some great points on why the American Church has lost the First Love. For those who don't have time to read, I'll just summarize:

I. Major Problems
A. Success Orientation
B Statism - Misreading of Romans 13 - fear of feds
C Ignorance of Natural Law and Law of Nations
D Church is Filled with Hate

Here is an excerpt:

The American Church has focused on being “successful” instead of being righteous; it has capitulated to the lordship of the state; it fears the IRS more than it fears God; it has stopped preaching the “hard” messages of the Bible; it is popularity-driven, entertainment-driven, and comfort-driven; it has abandoned the fundamental principles of Natural Law and liberty; it has replaced genuine patriotism with statism; and it has used Romans 13 as justification for idolatry.

I've seen all the above and it rings true to me. I was considering visiting a local KJV church until I saw that the pastor enjoys taking selfies with Lamar Alexander and every other flag-waving holiday is a chance for idolatry of America. Uh, no thanks. So many churches have now equivocated being hard-core with being ultra patriotic, playing into the hands of the L/R dialectic.

I hope Pastor Chuck can get some traction with this conversation.
