Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Anwar Al-Awlaki - ???

As some of you may be aware, I try not to get hot and bothered when the Mockingbird Media starts ringing Pavlov's bell. The big story is on the evil mastermind Anwar Al-Awlaki who happens to be an American citizen that supposedly hates his birth country with extreme vengeance. Let's just go through the time line for clarity's sake, ok?

For the comprehensive time line with supporting links go here.

I learned from the linked time line above that this guy had a real thing for hookers, which is something I didn't know. He also was charged with passport fraud, but the charges were dropped.

late 2001/2002
Al-awlaki does lunch at the Pentagon. They claim that they didn't know that he was a radicalized cleric. Either they're lying or  stupid. Could be either. He is a speaker promoting "moderate Islam". lol

Foot Hood Massacre
Even though there was reportedly an abundance of eyewitnesses to Hasan's rampage, a soldier who captured the whole thing on his phone, was ordered to delete it. That's pretty weird as a recording would be rock-hard evidence.
Defense attorney Galligan asked Aviles if he had taken a video of the shooting with his cell phone and if he deleted the footage at the instruction of his superiors.
"Yes, sir," Aviles replied.
Neither Galligan nor prosecutors asked about what the video showed and Aviles did not describe what the two files contained.   --AFP

Hasan was purported to have been advised and inspired by Anwar through email.

December 24, 2009 - Anwar was supposedly killed in an air strike.
Then this independent, muslim street beat reporter, Abdul Elah Hider al-Shaya claims that the air strike didn't kill Anwar.
There is no independent way to confirm Shaya’s account and U.S. intelligence officials are now ducking the question of whether they believe Awlaki is dead or alive. “His status is not entirely clear,” a U.S. intelligence official says.”  -Newsweek
Shaya also says that Anwar Al-awlaki wasn't apart of Al Qaeda, but refused to elaborate.
ok...

Underwear Bomber - Anwar was connected through the terrorist training camps to Abdulmutallab, the "underwear bomber", who admittedly was on that flight with the full knowledge of the State Department, despite his own father calling him in. According to Undersecretary Kennedy, it was part of a larger operation.  It was only a week later that the naked body scanners were ordered to make sure American citizens weren't packing PETN in their privates and the fourth amendment was disintegrated.

It's so easy to set a precedent killing someone that everyone hated. You won't get near as much push back if they had drone killed an American Sunday School teacher for mentioning God on school grounds. I know what you're saying, are you trying to compare that horrible insidious monster with a red-blooded American? As a Christian, I don't believe in dehumanizing anyone, because I recognize that doing so dehumanizes myself. I'm not shedding any tears over Anwar, just for my republic, which had a set way of taking care of these situations. We had to deal with pirates terrorizing our citizens 200 years ago and what did we do? Issued letters of marque and reprisal for those responsible. It was cheap, effective, and collateral damage was held to a minimum. In the Wild West, we had bounty hunters, who were of course charged first. I'm starting to highly suspec that the reason they're not using our established procedures is that they don't want us to see something.

Are you ready to get on  the Krazy Train? Here is our dear leader spokesperson, Jay Carney: Notice that Carney mentions the underwear bomber and the cargo bombs, both events were as fishy as all get out.

Note to White House: get a website and put your evidence up for all to see as part of the public record. Unless you can't do that for some reason, uh, yeah...I swear, if I had seen this video 10 years ago, I would have said who are those new guys on SNL, it's that surreal.

Well, Obama did warn the Jonas brothers:

“The Jonas Brothers are here; they’re out there somewhere. Sasha and Malia are huge fans. But boys, don’t get any ideas. I have two words for you, ‘predator drones.’ You will never see it coming.”  --Your beloved Presidente Obama

Yes let's get outraged about what a horrible person this Anwar dude is, while at the same time glorying over how "exceptional" America is. America is exceptional because we have those little niceties like due process, the rule of law, the fifth amendment, the right to face your accusers, innocent until proven guilty and all that jazz. I've heard this argument that it costs too much, we can't get him out to try him. I'm glad some people put a price on the rule of law so all may know how cheap their principles are.

Giddy-up, red-blooded Americans, Homeland now has eyes for you.
Get ready for false, trumped up charges to get rid of the trouble-makers.

  3. Dennis the menace? He plays about as much.

The war on terror is a joke. A few guys with machine guns and a gas can could terrorize a US city. We've got the TSA to terrorize us with our own tax money.

  4. RM, Don't you know it. Glad they Don't, at least for now. Yea, TSA... I won't forgive GWB for that one.

  5. When the SHTF, I predict the Bushes, Clinton, and Obama riding around in a golf cart laughing their behinds off at us all on their own private triple fenced paradise.

Continuity of agenda is for real. I mean if Obama is single-handedly shredding our Constitution where is President Bush, the shining stalwart freedom's majestic call? He has nothing to say on the matter. Like his dad said, it's a "new world order, and when we're successful, and we will be..."

Creeps me out just thinking about that speech.

  6. I agree, I have to admit I wasn't paying a lot of attention in those days, but when I see GHWB in old clips spouting about the new world order it does creep me out as well.

And as you say, GWB has 'no comment'. wtf? With the liberals, from the moron carter to the recent clinton having all sorts of 'comments' - this needs to be balanced out or at least countered. And if GWB isn't up to the job, who is? Maybe tea party, maybe not, maybe we don't ever find out. But GWB going silent is BS.
Both sides have to be represented. If a GWB can't find a way to do it with class and taste, then a GWB BETTER find a way to do it with class and taste or hire someone to figure it out for him.

Are they laughing at us? Hmm don't know but I tend to think no. I tend to think they've resigned themselves to the idea that 'no one can surmount the current structure from dependent citizens (or not citizens) to others too powerful to screw with. Leaves us stuck in the middle [class] and the bottom of the food chain.

RM, you hit the nail on the head here as far as 'what bothers me about GWB, GHWB and the standard issue "republicans" ' - as separate entities unto themselves.

Well, I'm glad neither Christie nor Palin is running. That's something.

I've taken a few liberties with conceptual life in America here. Maybe :)

  7. On March 1st I will be able to speak on this subject in more detail. Until then, I think this sets a very dangerous precedent.

  8. Kid, we're most definitely at the bottom of the food chain, but I'm encouraged by the promise that the "meek shall inherit the earth". bwahaha!

Trestin, I copy that and glad you agree, I sewanee, some "conservatives" out there seem to be enjoying their 1984 daily "hate" when a muslim gets blown up.
