Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Secession? Obama Says Bring It!

TMOT lays out how the succession petitions are probably just identifying you for a Night of the Long Knives event. More down home wisdom from TMOT's Drive Time.

  1. Ha! Same exact conversation we had yesterday at breakfast. This secession thing is just plain silly and these people have handed over their identity to the enemy. Are people really that stupid? Silly question!

But then we have generals who think sexy emails are private. Good grief!

These are the same people (as our conversation evolved) who broadcast on their blogs how many guns they own, what kind, and what they just purchased at the local sporting goods store. Hmmmmmmmmmmm - not smart.

There are times I think I've gone too far with some things I've said. We're particularly vulnerable because I blog under my own name and it would take about 3 nanoseconds to locate us through our business website. For the people that think they're safe because they blog under a pseudonym it will take 5 nanoseconds to find them instead of 3.

    1. Yeah, they can track down your IP super fast.

We need to keep changing up the language because they use the word secession to invoke images of blacks in chains and such. In reality, the red counties would just like to eject the blue counties out of the picture. Maybe the correct word should be rejection.

    3. Yes, the internet was created by DARPA with the alternative motive for spying on us all. When you investigate the philosophy and value system of these Elites, you'll find them heavily into Luciferianism. And that leads us straight to the Book of Revelation.

However, God laughs with derision at these mortal fools and at the demonic entities that control them. Their fate has been sealed and what they intend for evil, God can turn for good.

  5. Anyone wanting secession is a nut job who is spoiled whiny rotten baby who can't get his or her way. Deal with it, there are people who think differently than you. That's the world over. Your way is not always the way of freedom. The world is not black or white. Christianity is not the only way to know God. Your way isn't always the way of peace. The way of peace is actually dialoguing with people who you don't agree with. That takes courage. Courage that is not found behind a gun. If you can't speak to liberals or others who are different than you without calling them stupid then it is you who has the problem and the same goes for the other way around. This is a far deeper issue than Obama or some conspiracy b.s. I find it really silly and hypocritical to say you want secession and at the same time say you are a patriot.

    1. Uh, there was nothing about me wanting secession in this post? I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Jesus said, I am the way, the Truth and the light, no man cometh unto the Father but through me. All authority has been given unto Him to judge the quick and the dead and his day of Judgement is rapidly approaching.

  6. There is no day of judgement. Every century Christians have been saying the same thing when times got violent. Revelations was written by a man going insane during the destruction of the Roman Empire. Jesus also warned about false prophets and rumors of his return. He was never about fear which I see much in your posts. Fear is the opposite of faith. I see a lot of claims that Obama is a Communist. This is promotion of fear and it is completely untrue. The funny thing is that the liberals and right wing have in common is that both think he is going to move to the left after this election that occurred. Nothing is further from the truth. He's moving to the right with policy. I've read a lot of your posts. Some you have correct but the promotion of fear is something I cannot stand by on either side whether it is from the Teaparty or from the left.

    1. It all depends on whether or not you believe that the Bible is the Word of God. It clearly says that there is a day of reckoning coming starting in the Book of Genesis. Our duty as Christians is to remind mankind that this day is coming and everything else pales in comparison to it. God's Kingdom will reign forever and one can be apart of it if they repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus told his disciples to fear not more than anything else, because having assurance is what gives a Christian the courage to stand against evil.

If you do not believe that the Bible is the Word of God, then it truly is foolishness to those who are perishing. And then you truly should be afraid, for he it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

The prophecies are coming true, and time is growing short. Everyday gets us one day closer to His Appearing.

  7. "The prophecies are coming true, and time is growing short. Everyday gets us one day closer to His appearing."

They have been saying this throughout history since the days of the Roman Empire. There is absolutely nothing new under the sun when it comes to politics, policy and the elites who run the country/empire. It's the same fear and religion used to send fear through the people to keep them down. History repeats itself, just with new technologies and new elites during every empire. There is absolutely nothing new with the U.S being the empire now. Same story different time.

    1. Who said anything was new under the sun? Not me. The spirit of antichrist has been at work. Just because the Second Coming didn't happen in the early church time period doesn't mean that it is not going to happen. The fact that history repeats only proves my point.

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but I'M NOT AFRAID. I am empowered knowing that knowing that the cycle of evil and violence will come to an end. Man tries to imply that it will through his own efforts, but this is the sinful pride of man trying to get the glory. Jesus Christ alone through His blood atonement has already won the victory.

I am not the one afraid here - but if there is one out there reading this who has not trusted in the Savior - Christ Jesus, you should be wetting your pants right now.

    2. The repeating of history actually disproves your point. The return of Christ didn't happen then, nor will it happen at the end of our empire. Only the shrill sound of end of times warnings keep repeating themselves.
Evil and violence will come to an end when mankind grows up and finally excepts taking responsibility for their lives and stops expecting a man on a white horse or a white cloud to rescue them from the hell they have created for themselves.

  8. 2 Peter 3 gives us the relevant text concerning those who scoff at the concept of the Judgement:

3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

  9. Words of Peter not Christ!!!

Even the ancient Greeks had apocalyptic myths. Much of the Bible comes from ancient Greek mythologies. This is the problem when people take the entire Bible as literal truth when in fact it is combination of myth (much to keep the population in fear of questioning the Jewish and early Christian Hierarchy), history and the genealogy of the Jewish people.

    1. Believing that the Bible can foretell the future is like believing in a fortune teller. The writers of the Bible were human, not gods.

    2. This is where we disagree. The Bible has a 100% accuracy rating when it comes to the prophecies foretelling the First Coming of Jesus. We know that the Book of Isaiah remained unchanged because of the 3000 year old copy found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. The words from that manuscript match the one in my Bible with a .5% typo error rate.

      Archaelogists use the Bible to find dig sites because it is so accurate. There are more extant copies of the Bible than any other book from aniquity. {Many, many times more in fact}

I can see why you would interperet the Bible as a controlling device, but it is really a message to the people of the earth, letting them know their true condition, the spiritual warfare going on around us, and that there is a Blessed Hope. I really hope you would study the origins of the Word more closely, as the evidence to disprove what you are saying is legion.

  10. Archaelogists may use the Bible to find dig sites because as I said it is partly a historical document of the Jewish people. There are more extant copies of the Bible than any other book because the Western cultures invented the printing press and created a new industry of mass produced books. And, it's a business. It is not a message to the people of the earth, it's a book about one tribe, the Jewish tribe, in the middle east. It was written by Jewish scribes to the Jewish people. It has nothing to do with the rest of the world because it doesn't include the rest of the world. I've studied the origins of the word very closely. I grew up submerged in it. You have no idea how much I know of it. The evidence has disproved what you are saying of it over and over again! BTW, the book of Isaiah was written by numerous authors over a very long period of time, over centuries in fact. And much that was written in Isaiah had been interpreted from the Hebrew Bible to Greek by writers of the New Testement. As a result much of it was misinterpreted as happens with most language interpretations since there is never any clear cut translations from one language to the next. Meaning gets changed and as a result changes ideology and beliefs.

    1. No, honey there are more extant copies from antiquity, as in toga times way, way before the printing press. The scroll of Isaiah that was found was confirmed to be 3,000 years old and is the same except for small typos as what is in the intralinear at the bookstore right now.

Interpretation is most definitely an issue especially in these Orwellian time. That's why I'm a KJV person. It is true that there are different greek manuscripts that change meanings. Recall what the last part of Revelations says about altering the Word a jot or a tittle - bad punishments in store for them. That's why I wonder at these "Christians" that handle the newer translations and the Word so lightly.

  11. Actually, the theologians and biblical scholars studying the book of Isaiah have studied the document extensively and found that the writing is from more than one author. Especially the last 3rd of the book which is said to be written by numerous authors. The Bible has also been re-written and re-translated and edited so many times through out the last 2000 years, which Bible are you talking about? The King James? That's just one of the many versions after other versions were written. It was one of the first English translations published with the newly invented printing press but it was not the first version of the Bible. It was ordered under King James of England to conform to the doctrine of the Church of England at that time. The scholars writing the text didn't consult the original document which they could have done. It was written in the King's English which is barely understandable by today's English Language. That is why newer versions are written. So people can understand them. Not to say they don't do their own censorship in writing them because they do. Like I said, the Bible is an interesting read but hardly a source for anything but the history of the Hebrew people and the land that shaped them.

    1. BTW, the copies that were around before the printing press were for clergy only. The lay people didn't get copies of the Bible because they couldn't read, they were illiterate. Most literate people resided either in the Aristocracy or in Papal service. Which is one reason why the Clergy wanted to ban the printing press and destroy the man who invented it. They viewed it as a threat to their authority.
