Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Wikileaks: Media Newspeak Hysteria

Vox Day has written my thoughts exactly:

And the lunacy of Government Newspeak. We have truly reached a point of no return if the provision of accurate information to the people about what their supposedly democratic government is doing is equated with terrorism by their so-called leaders:

The incoming chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee says WikiLeaks should be officially designated as a terrorist organization. Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), the panel's presumptive next head, asked the Obama administration today to "determine whether WikiLeaks could be designated a foreign terrorist organization," putting the group in the same company as Al Qaeda and Aum Shinrikyo, the Japanese cult that released deadly sarin gas on the Tokyo subway.

"WikiLeaks appears to meet the legal criteria" of a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, King wrote in a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reviewed by CNET. He added: "WikiLeaks presents a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States."
If WikiLeaks meets the legal criteria of a "U.S.-designated terrorist organization" then so does Wikipedia and the Encyclopedia Britannica. Governments always want to operate in the dark and keep their subjects in ignorance, which is why Julian Assange should not be assailed by the American people, he should be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, regardless of whatever his motivations in making all of this information available to the public might be.

WikiLeaks is nothing more or less than a technological blow for American freedom. Assange is no traitor; the accusation doesn't even make sense considering that he has absolutely no connection with the United States. But it should come as no surprise to the readers of this blog that the verbal attack against the organization is being led by one of those freedom-loving Republicans.

Moreover, the crocodile tears of those in the media who fear that the release of information to the public will "get people killed" is absolutely ludicrous given their support for the ongoing military occupations that have killed hundreds of thousands more people than any number of leaks possibly could. In fact, to the extent that WikiLeaks permits Americans to force an end to their leaders' pointless and unpopular wars, it will almost certainly save lives. After all, when one considers that numerous American leaders have waxed bellicose about the need to go to war to prevent Iran getting nukes, wouldn't it be pertinent for them to know that China is actively helping Iran obtain them?

"More than 250,000 classified State Department reports made public on Sunday reveal that China was urged to stop shipments through Beijing of missiles from North Korea to Iran, and that Saudi Arabia's monarch urged the United States to attack Iran's nuclear facilities."
There are two Americas people: Apple Pie America and Bearded-Spock America. Like twins on a soap opera one is nice and the other is evil and they don't know about each other. Because of the National Security Act of 1947, Bearded-Spock America has been given carte blanche to do whatever the heck it wants to. Us mundanes seeing their actions is one of their worst nightmares. They don't like being embarrassed and like the cowards they are, they hide behind real people doing actual work, ie. the American GI or foreign service agent.  Imagine trying to explain to the Founders why we are in Korea, how the Vietnam War came to be, the NSA, etc.  The whole foreign policy is crazy, and Bearded-Spock America has Apple Pie America convinced that it is necessary to protect them from terrorists, without of course, telling Apple Pie America that they have been setting up blood-thirsty puppet dictators through the Middle East for the last 50 years. As someone known to delve into declassified government docs, I'm grateful that now I won't have to wait until I'm in the nursing home to see them. They keep these things classified so long that everyone who could intelligently comment would too dead to do so.

I, for one, am enjoying seeing the elites exposed for a change.

How One Man Beat the TSA

Matt Kernan, writer of No Blasters! blog, decided he wasn't going to be scanned or groped or be treated like a terrorist on his native soil. What to do? He spent nearly three hours explaining his constitutional rights. Read his detailed account here.

I said, “Yes sir.  I understand the policy, but I still disagree and I still don’t think that I can be made to do these searches in order to go home.  Now am I free to go?”
They didn’t answer.
I repeated the question.  “Since you are actual police officers and not simply TSA, I am sure you have had much more training on my rights as a U.S. citizen, so you understand what is at stake here.  So, am I free to go?  Or am I being detained?”
Young Cop answers, “You aren’t being detained, but you can’t go through there.”
“Isn’t that what detaining is?  Preventing me from leaving?”
“You can leave if you want, but it has to be that direction.”  He points back towards customs.  Young Cop asks, “Why are you doing this?”
I explain that I’m worried that the Backscatter has unproven health risks.  And that for all he knows, I might be a sexual assault victim and don’t feel like being touched.  I say that the policy is needlessly invasive and it doesn’t provide any added security.

And here's some more, I won't copy the whole thing because the guy was at the airport for three hours, but I think it's instructive to see how he played "who's on first" between the TSA and the cops. Reminds me of how Mr. Spock put a logical question into an illogically programmed machine and made it blow up:

The cops come back and start talking with me.  Again, they are asking why I’m doing it, don’t I have a connection to make, etc.  They are acting more curious at this point – no longer trying to find a contradiction in my logic.
I eventually ask what would happen if I got up and left, and just walked through security.  They shrugged.  “We wouldn’t do anything on our own.  We are only acting on behalf of the TSA.  They are in charge of this area.”
“So if he told you to arrest me, you would?  And if he didn’t, you wouldn’t?”
“That’s right,” Young Cop says.
“OK well then I think it is best if we all talk together as a group now.  Can you call them over?”
The Supervisor returns, along with the Delta Manager.  The Supervisor is quite visibly frustrated.
I explain, “The police have explained to me that it is your call on whether or not I am being detained.  If I walked through that metal detector right now, you would have to ask them to arrest me in order for them to do anything.”
He starts to defer responsibility to the officers.  They emphasize that no – they have no issue with me and they are only acting on his behalf.  It is his jurisdiction.  It is policy.  They won’t detain me unless he tells them to.
So I emphasize the iPhone again, and ask,” So, if I were to get up, walk through the metal detector, and not have it go off, would you still have them arrest me?”
The Supervisor answers, “I can’t answer that question.  That is no longer an option because you were selected for the Backscatter.”
“Well you can answer the question because it is a yes or no question.  If I got up and left, would you have them arrest me?”
“I can’t answer that question.”
The moods have changed.  The cops are now frustrated with him because he’s pawning off his decision-making responsibility to them.  He’s stopping what is clearly a logical solution to the problem.  Meanwhile, the Supervisor is just growing more and more furious with me.
In another deferment of responsibility (which he probably thought was an intimidation factor), “Well then I guess I’m just going to have to call the FSD.”
Unfazed, I ask, “What’s the FSD?”
“The Federal Security Director.”  And he walks away.

This story has made it overseas at the Daily Mail, so you can check that out for the condensed version. Happy Boycotting the Airlines Day! Remember, our liberty is not worth turkey and dressing, people!

Quality Journalism & Operation Mockingbird

If you have half a brain, you take everything the media tells you with an enormous grain of salt, an internet search, and your own personal investigation. On important things, anyway. I would just like to take moment and highlight the great journalism coming out of Russia Today. For example, RT correspondent Anastasia Churkina got an interview with the infamous Bill Ayers himself. I would think that would be an interview that any journalist worth their steno pad would want - a controversial figure tied up with domestic terrorism with extreme views. Maybe you could get him to reveal something telling. One thing about Ms. Churkina and the RT correspondents, they actually just ask a question and shut up for 3-5 minutes and let their subject answer the question in complete sentences. They don't interject any attitude and have a very clinical manner when performing interviews. Here's the interview with Bill Ayers:

Bill O'Reily flipped out for some reason as did the whole Fox News apparatus. I don't really understand why, but RT's rebuttal video is something I found humorous, especially after he accuses Anastasia of not speaking English and responds in perfect English.

For more information on how the media became subverted, check out Operation Mockingbird.

Via The Government's Attic, come these excerpts from FOIA requests:

This is from a document labeled "Comments submitted to the CIA for the 1995 and 2005 decennial reviews of the operational files exemption, 1994 - 2005." This is a public comment of the decennial review:

"  Late 40's: Operation MOCKINGBIRD .... The CIA recruited American news organizations and journalists to become spies and disseminators of propaganda. Frank Wisner, Allan Dulles. Richard Helms and Philip Graham headed the effort. Graham was publisher of The Washington Post, Which became a major CIA. player; Eventually, the CIA's media assets included ABC, NBC, CBS, Time, Newsweek, Associated Press United Press International, Reuters, Hearst Newspapers. Scripps:-Howard, Copley News Service and more. By the CIA's own admission, at least 25 organizations and 400 journalists became ClA assets.

It's like David Rockefeller, the most elite of the elite said in Germany at the 1991 Bilderburg  Trilateral meeting in Baden, Germany:

"We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time
Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended
our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost
forty years."

"It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world
if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years.
But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national
auto-determination practiced in past centuries."
When you put aside the notion that every American is as loyal to the Constitution as you are, things begin to make a lot more sense. It is more than obvious that those who have been running our country since 1913 are not loyal to the principles and ideals of the Constitution. Some of these elite "play-act" like they're all red, white, and blue, but their actions, which are not reported by the Mockingbird media expose where their true loyalties lie. The Bible prophesied that the last days would be a time of great deception and here we are witnessing it! That's pretty exciting for the blood-bought.

That's My Congressman!

Around here, some of us were wishing that Jimmy Duncan would be more of a louder voice in Washington for freedom issues. Well today he made Drudge, calling out Michael Chertoff on the floor of the House. I've written about this, but the Washington Examiner has some even more in-depth information on following the money around these scanners. Here's the speech:

Montigue Williams III Mocks You

Telling it like it is to you plebes. (via Gerald Celente Trends Blog - never know what you'll find there!)

The Third World War

No, I'm not talking about World War III, I'm talking about the illegal, unconstitutional, immoral, and secretive operations carried out in our name as Americans. Most Americans have absolutely no clue what is really going on behind the scenes with our foreign policy and the flow of money through the military-industrial complex, which eats a huge share of our federal budget each year. If you even suggest of cutting any part of it, you're accused of hating the troops. Well, honeychild, the troops aren't getting that money now, and it shouldn't be a thought crime to wonder where the trillions of dollars have gone.

Here is a video that puts pictures to excepts from a John Stockwell lecture. He was one of the first of the CIA agents to come out and tell it like he saw it. He was in charge of the Angola Task Force, which is where the military/industrial complex went to directly after Vietnam. You see, they fear a break in the action. They use fear to further their own profit motives. . The underwear bomber and the scanners is a classic example. They create the problem by having an agent escort a man who has spent the requisite amount of time in an Al-Qaeda camp to establish his terrorist bona fides onto an airplane. His pants explode.  Solution: We'll scan or feel up everyone's naked bodies so that this doesn't happen again. Never mind the fact the powder wasn't dense enough to be detected, Rapiscan has to make some money for its parent company, OSI systsems, which is partially owned by George Soros, but I digress.

Throughout the last several decades, when it comes to foreign policy, it has been Dictator X is a communist. We say so. We don't want more communist countries, so we'll have to get rid of him and replace him with a democratic government. Looking back, we see that the governments overturned were not outright communists, except for maybe Cuba and it's still there. How about that? We also see that the people the US government put in as examples of democratic governments were anything but. They were often just as brutal, if not more so, than the preceding regime.

One thing I've learned from all this is that screwing America over is a nonpartisan endeavor. The agenda marches forward regardless of party. There have been very few in government who have stood up for the actual Constitution as written and intended. Wherever these braves souls have spoken up, they have been vilified and some have met with a premature demise.

Anyhow, here's a fun little video that takes excerpts from a John Stockwell lecture given in the 1980s. What he says has more meaning for us today than those attending his lecture 20 years ago.

John Tyner - American Hero

tThe man who turned it around on the TSA by threatening to sue if they touched his privates relates his whole story here. The TSA then threatened him with a $10,000 fine if the left the airport without being groped. This was probably just a bluff on their part to make sure he fell in line, but he said 'whatever' and left the airport. His freedom was more important than his hunting trip. If only every American would do the same. Our forefathers pledged their lives, liberty, and sacred honor to sign our Declaration of Independence. Many of those who signed lost all they owned, had their families murdered, and were hung. Is it to much to ask Americans to refuse this tyranny by not going along. If everyone were to make such a scene, how would the TSA respond. Who will be the first to blink?

Stay Safe Smitty

In case you haven't heard, Smitty-the hardest working blog sidekick in the whole sphere, will be deploying in the middle of November for Afghanistan. He says he'll be doing staff officer stuff with the Navy, read the details here, for his sake - please give this link a hit!

As a struggling blogger, Smitty has been kind enough to include my sporadic Rule 5 entries. The man is inhuman with how fast he throw up all those links. If making link-filled blog posts was an Olympic Sport, Smitty would win the gold! I really don't know how Stacy's going to manage, unless he starts one of his kids on an internship program.

So stay safe Smitty and thank you for your service. For those of us at home, let's follow Smitty's example of diligence in speaking out for the America our servicemen are supposed to be fighting for: one with sound money, just laws, "We the People, not We the Establishment", etc.

Join My Homeschool - Today's Lesson - Economics

Inflation

This phenomenon happens in stages which are caused by changes in the demand for money:

1.  While the government has been printing money, prices have started to rise to reflect the fact that there is more money in circulation. People save their money hoping that prices will come back down.

2. After realizing that prices probably aren't coming back down, people who were holding off on purchases start buying and the dollar is being circulated more, which causes prices to rise. The $10 bill is getting passed around more than it was in stage one, thus meaning it's doing the work of several $10 bills.

(You are here.)

3. The dollar is clearly losing its value, and people begin trading it for anything they think will retain value, whether it be precious metals, commodities, or foreign currencies.

And now a presentation from Catherine Austin Fitts, former asst. HUD secretary, and Wall St. veteran  in clear terminology on what is really going on with our economy. This is entitled The Looting of America, but it could also be called The Tapeworm Economy:
(Please take note of my Red Mike quote on the sidebar to illustrate to yourself that the more things change, the more they stay the same. )

Part 2                Part 3               Part 4

If that's too dry for you, however I find it fascinating, here's a Jesse Ventura episode of Conspiracy Theory I came across at Lew Rockwell.  This episode exposes some of the tentacles of the "vampire squid" with dramatic flair.

Blog News Regarding This Blog

News item #1 - I have a guest post up at The Classic Liberal entitled The Skivvy on Naked Body Scanners. It's kind of unpolished as I wrote it in a hurry as this issue upsets me greatly. But one of the reasons I started blogging was to overcome my perfectionism sin, so I'm Ok with it. Thanks to The Classic Liberal for inviting me to guest post!

News item #2 - You may have noticed the X files section on the side bar has shrunk. Hopefully, you have also noticed I have a whole other page devoted to my gallery of historical and political ugliness, shall we say? Here is where I am attempting to collect first-hand accounts and government documents of what's really going on in our country and who the heck is running it. I can't say that I've read everything I link to yet, as I am also using this page as my own reading list and investigation hub. I do try to only put up pieces from people who actually have experience in government, business, or intelligence. Some of them might be stark-raving crazy for all I know and will de-link any unsubstantiated material as I find it. I invite you, blog-reader, to check it out and see what you can discover in the buried history of these United States. Happy sleuthing!

News item #3 - I can't promise anything, but as I get it together, I hope to be able to add some series to follow on here. Such as "Join my Homeschool - history that didn't make it into Establishment textbooks", picking back up with "Meet the Elites", going through all the CIA coups, action alerts, etc.

Goldman Sachs is Scum

Here's a fabulous interview I saw over at GoldmanSachs666 (they let you know how they feel about Goldman) featuring Max Keiser and a French finance professor. I'll include the famous Carroll Quigley quote at the bottom about central banking for those of you who would like to follow along. Hello one-world currency - your time has finally come.

Part 2:

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."
--Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, 1966, p. 324

Everything would seem to be going according to plan.
