Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

  1. Good find. I'm going to use this in the sidebar.

  2. Yes, if we are "Not at War" and we are supposed to "forget about it and move long folks", then why all the enhanced security.

Scratch DHS, TSA, Patriot Act for starters. So some muslim blows their car in a tunnel. We have had violence and mass murder long before we gave up 50% (?) of our liberties in the span of a few years.

Exactly what I've been thinking about the last day or so.

  3. Also note the lack of accountability. When you wonder out loud how did the multi-billion dollar defense network epically fail, your just supposed to accept that "mistakes were made" and move along. There is no accountability.

We are at war is what I hear these RINOs talk about endlessly and you just need to suck it up and accept it or the mean muslim will blow you up. Why would he do that when he can sit back in bongo-bongo land and watch our own SWAT teams blow up Americans on suspicion of drug activity (from his very own poppy field)?
