Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Obama Squared

I snagged this little bit of snarkiness from LRC. My kids have been at Grandma's for the last
few days, which means I had to clean, clean, clean while I still had the chance.

Lemme tell you what is annoying about blogging on the tablet:

My pics won't load. I had to use the link to a url feature, which I hope doesn't get me in the doghouse being a bandwidth robber, but they won't upload on this thing.

I'm just now getting the hang of the copy and paste features, which can really drive you bonkers while you're learning how it works.

The baby can barely touch it and the whole post gets screwed up.

I did opt for the keyboard dock, which is nice because I'm typing on a standard size keyboard instead of the virtual keyborad thing.

I do like being able to take it around the house, putting on some interesting podcasts and such while I do mundane things around the house. I can do the same sorts of things on my Android phone. I just wish the picture thing worked because my kids got some toy cars while at Grandma's that are off the hook world government that I'd like to show you.

In the mean time, here's Son of the CIA, Barry Sotero, who's just like another Son of the CIA, George Bush. If you are confused by that, you've got a whole LOT of catching up to do. Go to the X-File page and start at the top and work your way down.

  1. I'm stealing this and putting it on Facebook. With attribution, of course. It's too good not to lose a few "friends" over. ;-)

    1. Ha, yeah you can title it meet the new boss, same as the old boss. The agenda marches onward, so there's nothing to be afraid of right?

You might could look up where GB pulled that mental health scheme to get every kid in America on psych drugs rolling and link that too in case some don't get it.

  2. rM, I would like your woman's opinion on something. I know you don't care if Romney wins or not; but I'd still like to hear your opinion. I just read a blog post (by a man) that contends that Joe Biden's behavior in the recent debate with Ryan cause many women that voted for Obama in 2008 to switch to Romney this time. Part of his argument was Biden's bad behavior is what many women have to put up with in the work place. It makes sense to me. What do you think?

    1. I think that women in general will change horses because of the economy, more than what Biden will do. Most women who end up voting don't watch debates, so many will totally be oblivious to what Biden said/did this last debate. I didn't watch it for the same reason I don't watch WWF -it's all scripted and people just watch for the screw-ups just like in NASCAR.

Women in the workplace also have to put up with little know-it-alls like Ryan, which also may be off-putting, depending on your experience. Most women working, like my mother have no time to watch debates or even know that they are coming on.

I have not worked since getting married and graduating high school, so I'm really not the one to ask. But I'd say that people are going to vote for Romney because 1. it seems that that's all you "can" do. 2. the Goldman Sachs money machine is now backing Romney (reminiscent of them dumping Hoover for FDR) 3. Team Obama is throwing it (whether their under orders I don't know) but of course sucking all the campaign money up from the useful idiots. The debate performance of Obama told me that this son and grandson of the CIA (he's no stranger to how this world really, really works) was staying true to what he said three years ago that he might just be a one term president.
