Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Hatchet Job on 2nd Amendment Continues

With the horrific killing in Colorado, comes yet another fishy story that will be used to blame the 2nd Amendment. Let's review history:

Thomas Jefferson said :

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” (Quoting Cesare Beccaria)

"The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it."
If everyone in the theater had been packing, he wouldn't have gotten past the first victim, he would be dead, no expensive trial. No, our government doesn't want us to be self-sufficient in defending ourselves. Where's the crisis in that demanding government expansion and controls?

Fast forward to what I have previously written about, State Department Memo 7727, calling for the complete disarmament of the the American people. It dates from 1961, so this isn't anything that Obama just cooked up to those who like to blame him for everything under the sun.  To quote John Christian Rhyter on the Memo:

While most Americans today are aware of the fact that Publication 7277 called for the gradual transfer of all American military assets—men and machines—to the United Nations (which is forbidden by its charter from fielding an army), most people don't know that 7277 also detailed plans for the global disarming of private citizens as well. It would not bode well for the utopians to disarm the governments of the world and leave their people armed to the teeth.

From the LA Times coverage of 7727 in 1963

Remember that these globalist subversives went with the Fabian Plan for America, here's a little history from a NY Times site:

1871 The National Rifle Association (NRA) is organized around its primary goal of improving American civilians' marksmanship in preparation for war.
(back then, we still had a militia form of gathering all able-bodied men to defend the physical country in event of invasion---not a standing army which the founders would have abhorred.)
1927 Congress passes a law banning the mailing of concealable weapons.
(those who've read my FDR series, should know the banksters were firmly in control here and the 1930s reflected that)
1934 The National Firearms Act of 1934 regulating only fully automatic firearms like sub-machine guns is approved by Congress.
1938 The Federal Firearms Act of 1938 places the first limitations on selling ordinary firearms. Persons selling guns are required to obtain a Federal Firearms License, at an annual cost of $1, and to maintain records of the name and address of persons to whom firearms are sold. Gun sales to persons convicted of violent felonies were prohibited.
1968 The Gun Control Act of 1968 - "...was enacted for the purpose of keeping firearms out of the hands of those not legally entitled to possess them because of age, criminal background, or incompetence." -- Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms The Act regulates imported guns, expands the gun-dealer licensing and record keeping requirements, and places specific limitations on the sale of handguns. The list of persons banned from buying guns is expanded to include persons convicted of any non-business related felony, persons found to be mentally incompetent, and users of illegal drugs.
1972 The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms is created listing as part of its mission the control of illegal use and sale of firearms and the enforcement of Federal firearms laws. ATF issues firearms licenses and conducts firearms licensee qualification and compliance inspections.
1977 The District of Columbia enacts an anti-handgun law which also requires registration of all rifles and shotguns within the District of Columbia.

Twisted Gun Statue at the UN- Gee, what do you think that's about given their UN gun bans?

And so it goes...
1995 - Oklahoma City, no matter your opinion of what happened there, conservatives and those clinging to the 2nd amendment were made out to be the culprits for creating McVay and Nichols.
And here's some more from the about site to fill in the gaps, so that you may see the incrementalism in action:
1998 - November 30
Permanent provisions of the Brady Act go into effect. Gun dealers are now required to initiate a pre-sale criminal background check of all gun buyers through the newly created National Instant Criminal Background Check (NICS) computer system.
1998 - December 1The NRA files suit in federal court attempting to block the FBI's collection of information on firearm buyers.
1998 - December 5 President Clinton announces that the instant background check system had prevented 400,000 illegal gun purchases. The claim is called "misleading" by the NRA.

1999 - January
Civil suits against gun makers seeking to recover costs of gun-related violence are filed in Bridgeport, Connecticut and Miami-Dade County, Florida.
1999 - May 20
By a 51-50 vote, with the tie-breaker vote cast by Vice President Gore, the Senate passes a bill requiring trigger locks on all newly manufactured handguns and extending waiting period and background check requirements to sales of firearms at gun shows.
1999 - August 24 The Los Angeles County, CA Board of Supervisors votes 3 - 2 to ban the the Great Western Gun Show, billed as the "world's largest gun show" from the Pomona, CA fairgrounds where the show had been held for the last 30 years. (Typical Gun Show Rules& Regulations)
2005 - During Hurricane Katrina, the National Guard literally pulled the guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. Their weapons were the only things keeping them safe from looters and bandits. The army has gun confiscation protocols in place. But that makes perfect sense given what we know about the upper levels of control in the military. George Bush conservative my behind. Another example of how their's not a dimes worth of distance.
2010 - Gabrielle Giffords - her shooter was ran through the media as a rightwing nutjob, gunlover. That all fell apart when he was revealed to be a leftie pothead.
2011- Fast and Furious gunwalking operation results in dead border patrol agent in Dec. 2010. In 2011, the facts begin to come out that this was done with the full knowledge of the Justice Dept for the purpose of increasing gun regulations.
“Bill – can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same (licensed gun dealer) and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks.”   (email between ATF agents)
That's how it works all over, whether talking about abortion (like what happened to Jane Roe) or school shootings, these controller will always try to pivot the situation to where they have more control and you have less freedom.
2012 - Treyvon Martin - obvious attempt to tear down stand your ground laws and make gun owner out to be child murderers.
And now we have this mass murder by Batman. This is totally nuts, but I smell a rat. I find the lone nutjob story a little hard to swallow. The guy was a PhD student in neuroscience??? Um yeah, I'm putting on my tinfoil hat here, but hey, sometimes that's what it takes to get a good explanation. He had to have premeditated it, with tear gas and riot gear. I will need to do some posts in the future to fully flesh out my suspicions, but let's just say that the Manchurian Candidate and hypnotic assassination to be borne out in history. This guy may be a patsy, or he may be someone who was on psych meds, however, they don't tend to prep up like this.  His mother reportedly knew it was him, but how can we trust what the media tells us you know? Whatever the motiviation/control of this man, one thing is certain, the powers that be are coming for our guns.

The big UN small arm treaty is coming up and these clowns aren't going to let a crisis like this go to waste. So prepare yourselves for the inevitable: Should ordinary people have guns? How can we tell if a gunowner is going to go nuts? How did he come by the tear gas? How did he have specialty law enforcement equipment? blah, blah, blah. Remember this blast from the past by Eric Holder, when he was Janet Reno's sidekick:

God bless the poor victims in all this, who will be used as props to tear apart our second amendment.

  1. If there is any truth in these two stories from my tin-hat files, this country is toast.

    1. Truly scary stuff. You might be safer down there in SA than up here, ironically.

  2. I've seen at least one post on your site where you wrote, "It's our county sheriffs who are supposed to stand up for the Constitution...". Perhaps it's time you "met" Sheriff Mack. Alan Stang wrote about him and the efforts of other sheriffs across the country to uphold the Constitutionas rights of those in their jurisdictions against federal over-reach into local issues.

Unfortunately, Mack lost the Republican primary for the 21st district in Texas to the incumbent, Lamar Smith. Not that it would have helped secure a win but Mack failed to get Ron Paul's endorsement against another sitting Texas Republican even though Mack's views on liberty are much more in line with Paul's than Smith's are. Even Dr No has limits with what he can and cannot do within the party and going to war with a fellow 13-term Texas Republican probably would have done more damage to the Freedom movement than it would have helped.

    1. I'm familiar with Sheriff Mack and I believe he was at the Oathkeeper's rally for SWAT-murdered Marine Guevera. I had heard about the kerfuffle about endorsements, but not knowing the details, didn't comment on it.

I hate to say that Mack is the exception that proves the rule when it comes to local law enforcement.

  3. this is one of two comments I made at Malkin site RE: shooter-glad that you are asking the same type of question-are you and I the only ones who 'smell a rat'--or cover-up...
