Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

In Honor of Protesting Teachers,

Here's a fun little video that touches on some subjects discussed on this blog. At the very end you will see a quote from a NEA report from the 1970s detailing how they plan to experiment on kids with drugs. It was in the 90s that the whole ADD/Ritalin push began. Seriously, your kids are better off at home just reading the encyclopedia and playing video games than going to school. Schools are penalizing kids for fighting back against bullies. Why? It's not just ridiculous leftist policy, it's a deliberate psychological warfare maneuver. When your kids are grown, will they have the courage (ala Robert E Lee, Stonewall, G. Washington - ya know, men they've never heard of) to fight back against oppression? Will they even know when they're being oppressed. I put it to you that our entire nation is under a form of control never before seen and most accept it, much less plan how to rid themselves of it.

P.S. We have too many teachers    psycho-behavioral therapists making too much money. Get a life people!

  1. Very powerful!

I am lucky to have escaped most of this nonsense (due to my age) plus having a very well educated and savvy mother. She read Spock's book which was all the rage when we were wee ones. She declared it a "bunch of crap" and threw it in the waste basket.

I was taught by old time nuns in habits and my education was top-notch. Pure phonics, real math, 6 years of Latin.

I have ADD and have spent countless hours studying up on the subject. I do not believe in "medicating" anyone with ADD. We just have a slightly different learning model (I think it's better - heh) and coping skills need to be taught - not drugging these kids into oblivion. Giving young children amphetamines is setting them up for addictions of all sorts.

  2. I have ADD, too. Only take off those last two d's. I have a different way of paying attention! Really, I just get bored quickly and need to move on to something else. I don't consider that to be a problem. ;-)

I'm not so sure about the fluoride thing. I'm going to look it up and see what I can find. Sounds a little out there, even for me. What do you think about fluoride?

  3. Setting them up for addictions of all sorts is the game plan! Making hordes of people so mentally screwed up that they cannot conceive of the very concept of freedom, is essential to these central planners dreams of a continually captive population.

Any public school student without ADD should be evaluated, because there is something really wrong with a kid who can take the crap that public education dishes out without reacting negatively.

When I was in college as a chemical engineering student, I learned that fluoride is the most electronegative element on the table and is quite dangerous. However, in salt form, like sodium fluoride, it isn't as reactive. But 5 - 10 grams of sodium fluoride will kill an average adult. It really doesn't have any health benefits to warrant putting it in everyone's water, in fact overdosing can be a big problem because you can't control how much water each person is drinking. I think that local water districts get financial incentives for putting sodium fluoride, which is a waste product from phosphate fertilizers, into the water. You see, if you or I dumped sodium fluoride in our back yard or elsewhere, we could be fined by the EPA for improper hazardous waste disposal. Japan is currently looking into adding Lithium to the water to reduce suicides, so there are people out there who think the water supply is an awesome way to deliver meds. John Holdren, our Science Czar said so in his 1977 book that sterilants should be added to the water to reduce the population. Great, huh?
