So if you read Drudge, you've already heard something about Herman and some sort of harassment scandal while he was a lobbyist for the National Restaurant Association. I know, just when you thought you've heard all about Herman, you go and find out he was a lobbyist. It just keeps getting better. This calls for a bulleted list to get our minds around this guy:
Where the Sphere of Domesticity is Fired Up! And the Memory Hole Gets Stopped Up!
Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Banking History
If you're like me, you don't naturally pick up economic lingo. Found this great little video at TN Sons of Liberty that takes you through the last 150 years of banking and how it has changed. Banks are not about the free market. I hear a lot of conservatives screaming about the free market and liberals occupying Wall Street. Both sides don't seem to be aware that the banking industry is NOT the free market. Lots of great analogies to help you understand it all in this video:

The Real Newt Gingrich
While Gingrich talks like a conservative, this enlightening video will illustrate that Newt's actions in his political career suggest he his more of a communist than anything else. I'm not trying to be dramatic, it is what it is. It's time to face it. The man has done a lot to move along Agenda 21 by using his position to facilitate Federal land grabs.
And let me say in this regard that there is no elected official who has done a greater job of bringing to public attention the very serious problems raised by the operations of the Federal Reserve than Texas Congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for focusing our attention on the very real erosion of American freedom and prosperity caused by the actions of the Federal Reserve.

When I Stopped Listening to Rush Limbaugh
This is a story of my own personal odyssey through American politics. I'll start at the beginning, which would have been when I started listening to Rush. I was a typical latchkey kid living in the sticks with nothing but staticy network TV reception. This would have been around 1992, so the internet wasn't quite in the house yet, that would come a couple of years later. I was 12 years old and had discovered the wonders of AM radio. I left it on talk radio all day long, and the rantings of Rush Limbaugh became my soap opera. I listened with rapt attention to all of the scandals happening in our nation's capital. It was outrageous. I was probably one of just a handful of teeny-boppers who could tell you about the missing FBI files, the wronged women Clinton abused, Vince Foster (no powder burns in mouth; no footprints around the body!), Hillarycare, the Commerce Secretary felled from the air, etc. I'll tell you right now this stuff blew my mind. Why didn't anyone care?

Busy Busy Busy
If it seems like I've been out of pocket, it's because I've been moving myself, kids, cats, and stuff across the state. Going to go clean out the old house today, but while I'm gone, leaving you with some consistant Paul:
And did Rick Santorum just admit that Ron Paul has a deep understanding of foreign policy?
Starts at 11:00.

Herman Cain: Globalist RINO Statist
Ouch. That's kinda harsh I can sense some of you saying. Let me just lay out the reasons. Several weeks back, I posted a piece where I was befuddled at the supposed Tea Party support of TARP supporter Cain. Most of these simple souls have absolutely no clue what his positions on the various issues are, or what his philosophy is. Truth be known, he doesn't really seem to have a coherent philosophy, but rather a demagoguery that rings the collective conservative Pavlovian bells. Let's just go through the issues:
