Although the women of the United States are confined within the narrow circle of domestic life, and their situation is, in some respects, one of extreme dependence, I have nowhere seen woman occupying a loftier position; and if I were asked... in which I have spoken of so many important things done by Americans, to what the singular prosperity and growing strength of that people ought mainly to be attributed, I should reply, To the superiority of their women.

Total Neocon Freak Out in Progress

Today I bring you some exhibits for you to consider:

Exhibit A: Rick Santorum using foul language on a reporter. Now, you'd typically be thinking good for him, right? What did the reporter say to warrant such outrage? He merely asked Rick Santorum about his saying that Mitt Romney was the worst republican in the country and was that true? Now, granted he may have been using some hyperbole and taking what Santorum out of context, but that was not grounds for a complete freak out. You be the judge:

In my opinion, Mitt Romney is the worst republican in the country. There's just something about flip-flopping on everything, taking money from international banksters via Goldman, setting up Marxist healthcare, being the governor of Taxachusetts and all round freaky deaky robot man that would definitely qualify him as the worst republican in the universe. Crud, I could write an entire speech on that theme alone and be proud of it. I don't understand why Santorum just doesn't smile and say, no I was speaking to Gov. Romney's healthcare record.  Maybe Santorum is the stalking horse for Romney. The media has been trying hard to push the Romney-Paul meme, which is totally asinine, so why shouldn't I speculate that since Santourm didn't have hardly any committed delegates or a big time ground game, that he wouldn't be dealing with the Romney campaign. This leads me to Exhibit B:

The mainstream GOP is freaking out in Washington State as Ron Paul supporters have learned the rules of engagement and are using them against those who created for their benefit so long ago. These arcane caucus rules were never a threat to the Establishment as they always had one of their own win the "beauty contest" straw polls that happen on election days in tandem with having their people as delegates, resulting in a totally dominated process. Like playing Monopoly with your five year old little brother, when the rules threaten their vision of winning, what do they do? Throw a tantrum and knock the pieces onto the floor. In this case, they manufacture an "anyone but Paul" delegate list, which will end up voting for Romney by the time its all over with. Oh, I love the way they call Paul supporters "savages". What? We don't own asparagus tongs? Maybe we eat candy bars with our hands. Or maybe we just don't belong to their country club. Anyway, I'm proud to be a savage if an open discussion of the rule of law, sound monetary policy, and questioning where the zillions of dollars in defense has gotten off to makes me a savage. While we're on the subject of civilized conversation, let's go to to Exhibit C:

Exhibit C:

Former mommyblogger and ham, Dana Loesch uses the tried and true, you're either with us or against us propaganda techniques to ridicule and shame Ron Paul supporters. Much to her chagrin, I'm sure, us RP folks are just commenting to each other, how many of the Filene Seven Propaganda Techniques are employed here? Let's see, we've got
1. Name Calling (Ron Paul - MaCaw) check
2. Glittering Generalities (vague sweeping statements - if you don't vote for Romney, you're going to actively vote for Obama) check
3. Transfer (moving authority from something we revere to something the propagandists wants us to accept. Here she makes fun of the words "liberty and Constitution") check
4.Testimonial (Dana is her own expert - if you don't agree with her, you're an enemy of the state or something) check
5. Plain Folks  - she didn't get to this .
6. Bandwagon CHECK CHECK CHECK!!!
7. Card Stacking - there were no facts in this clip to stack the deck with.

So yes, Dana, I do have a problem with it and am writing a blog about it per your advice. You give all republicans everywhere a bad name because it is clear that you can't handle any opinions that aren't on you're  Goebbels talking point memo.

Exhibit D:

We conclude this little museum trip through the neocon wilderness with the best: Herman Cain jumps the shark with this bewildering ad just in time for Easter too!

I'll admit I was just a smidge disgusted. If we want to talk about small business, let's talk about how 90% of new jobs are created by small business. Let's talk about how a law passed in 1953 says that 23% of federal government contracts are supposed to go to small businesses. What is in fact happening is that these huge corporations are forming front companies to act as small businesses to suck up that money coming from the money machine of the Fed through government contracts. They're even debating getting rid of the Small Business Administration, calling it outdated. You see folks, ma and pa stores are a thing of the past. Everyone will shop big box conglomerates, manufacturing will be done in China, and if you're lucky, you can be a hospital janitor when our medicine gets socialized. Got it? Oh, and by the way, any small businesses left out there will be taxed into obsolescence, meanwhile the big conglomerates are running their $$$ through the Caymans, getting rebates, subsidies, and assorted goodies back so that they're tax burden will be an insignificant part of their overall expenditure. And by the way, these big corporations don't produce ANY net job growth. That's a bunch of bull that Rush and Hannity feed us to make us all cheer when our local merchants and manufacturers get put out of business.

Added humorous fact: Herman Cain is Sick of Stimulus after supporting TARP???

Where do I find these gems? Where else but the Daily Paul, your source for the interesting nuggets of info really happening in America today.

Update: a little something else to make the Trotsky-loving Neocon's head 'splode:

Full Story
I've got an even better idea: let's just put the politicians who want war so much in the ring together? Lives can be saved, and no one will really miss them that much. Politicians are much more replaceable than the loved ones of ordinary folks. I guarantee the war trash talk would stop.

Mutiny of The GOP Mothership

Paul supporters have a message for all you conservatives out there: We don't give up and we don't give in!!! Daily Pauler ZooAmerica tells you how it is:

We are not leaving. We are here to stay, and we are taking over the GOP Mothership one state at a time. It's a big piece of ship, but we're slowly and methodically taking it over - legally.
Missouri is a prime example - Ron Paul is winning the majority of state delegates, as Rick Santorum won the frothy piggy pageant. Weee! Oik, oik as the old media says...
"Go third party now!" Jump ship! Leave! Go Away!
Wha? NO. Heck no! That's like punting on first and goal. Makes no sense. I SMELL BACON! We are winning the delegate battle in Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, Alaska, Nevada, Missouri, Washington, and Maine. That's about 1/3rd of the states that have already voted!
The GOP really kicked themselves in the ass by moving the caucus and primary election dates up a month. They thought they could easily sail candidate captain Romney through the political straights of America earlier than originally planned without encountering a storm.
Now they've got a political storm, and a mutiny on their hands. Romney is a shipwreck that's already happened, as Ron Paul's national delegate template starts taking over the GOP Mothership.
Drat! Ron Paul supporters have cloaked themselves as actual delegates! How could you let this happen!!

"If I became president, it wouldn't matter, if I'm the only one. If you want to change government you need to become government and if we all worked together we could take over the GOP in one or two election cycles."
-Ron Paul, 2008, Rally for the Republic

So to all you Insider monied men who think you own the Republican Party as your own property---Ron Paul supporters (who by the way, differ immensely from your rah! rah! candidate x supporters in that they actually believe in a set of unwavering principles) have spent a long time studying this thing, and are now pulling out all the stops. You may have more dirty tricks up your sleeve, more mind control, and more, but there is a tireless minority out there watching and anticipating your moves. Even when we loose, we win, because in the process, more people become awake to the sham election process.

GOP Delegate Sham in Atlanta

This comes to me from a reader who was an eyewitness to some shenanigans in Fulton Co (Atlanta) GA:

I'm disgusted.
What happened Saturday was a SHAM from the get-go
First they gave out NEW rules that morning, while making a big deal touting the procedure was to be fair for all. Then they handed out forms to fill in for delegate nominations ( not the norm.)  It was already known that the all the delegate & alternate slots were filled with the GOP faithfuls. When the committee came out, they had replaced very few names... adding for example, Ralph Reed (yes, the Ralph Reed... the establishment.. Shawn Hannity was there too), and replacing a husband with his wife, etc. That kind of nonsense.  In our district, not even 1 of the 35 applications was substituted in the 24 slots.
"Nominating committees are usually a fraud. The leaders hand pick who they want. The people put on a nominating committee are followers of the group leaders. The only choice is to "vote" for the ones the leaders pick. Then they pretend it was an "election". This method is used by corrupt political organizations on a regular basis. They get to force who they want in a position while pretending to be fair
They then had us vote by Congressional districts, but dictated that the paper nominations go through the State House District chairs; those folks then spread misinformation and lies about who was "allowed" to challenge whom. My chair did not sit in the designated area, nor did she make herself available to hand in the paper nominations. You had to hunt her down.  1 girl told me she over heard her say, " I can't believe 35 nominations!!"  Someone then asked her, "are they actually here?"  She had to reply yes. Another woman, who I had met earlier at the precinct meeting & is just waking up... told me ,"There really are Death counseling in Obamacare!" Yes, there are I told her. Anyway, she said she ask our House Chair 4 times about how she could fill out the form to nominated herself to replace one already cemented on the slate & the woman told her she couldn't.  Dusgusting!.. I wish I had heard her say that.
They also used the new congressional district maps (which do not yet appear on our voter registration records) to sow confusion and disqualify challenges.
They closed nominations via this unknown "paper submission rule" before the body of the convention had adopted that rule, which the convention chairman admitted when Nathan questioned him.  See the video of the GOP County Chair admitting it!

http://www.examiner.com/buzz-in-atlanta/fulton-county-gop-convention-chairman-admits-procedural-irregularity
In the end, there were not enough opposition present to overturn anything the way they rigged it.  If they hadn't have changed the rules at the last minute we would have gotten some delegates.  It was about 2/3 to 1/3.  The way they cheated & set it up the majority always eventually wins under Robert's Rules of Order.  I guess mob-rule.
Regardless, what they did was unethical. The die was cast before anyone arrived. Forked tongue.. "fairness" out of the mouth & working feverishly behind our backs to kick us out the door.  Give us your $40 and go away.  We are IN CHARGE.

Isn't that special? The GA GOP charges you $40 just to change the rules of the game when you get there. And if you complain, why you must be some sort of leftist, because every good conservative does what Sean Hannity and Co. tell them is right, right?

Last minute rule changes is a sign of desperation, it is a symptom that the wheels are coming off and people are starting to notice a real bumpy ride. Check out this great post by Ted at the Country Thinker calling for all patriotic Americans to bail out on the GOP. I'm game, are you?

I Won't Light the Match

Found this on the DP, a great rebuttal from a liberty-loving guy on the condition of the GOP:

The Dinosaur Media (90% of whom vote for Democrats) has been in the tank for Romneycare for the past four years. Why? Because they know he will go down on flames against Obama. Why do you think the Dinosaur Media spent all last summer covering the Soros-funded Occupy Wall Street whine-in 24/7? They were laying the groundwork for the Obama Administration (oops, I mean campaign) to run against Romneycare as the out-of-touch, blue-blood Wall Street stereotypical GOP patrician bankster that he is.
Ron Paul is the only true alternative to Obama. He can't be bought. His top 4 sources of campaign donations are members of the US Air Force, US Army, US Navy and US Coast Guard. He's the only Veteran running. The only one who will cut spending. The only one with a real plan to balance the budget in 3 years. The only one who has read the Constitution. The only one who has a real plan to create jobs. The only one who will restore the 4th and 10th Amendments. The only one who will repeal Obamacare. The only one who is more interesting in securing OUR borders than the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan or France and Germany (!!).

Look, the status-quo GOP Establishment is determined to nominate Romneycare. Why, I don't know. I'll never vote for him. He's utterly unelectable. There have been massive "irregularities" in Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Washington, and Alaska, allowing the GOP vote-counters to magically find piles of votes for Romneycare at the last moment. It has been the most corrupt election season in my lifetime (and that's saying something.)
The GOP is bent on self-immolation. I can't stop the GOP from drenching itself with gasoline by fixing elections for Romneycare, but I don't have to throw the lit match by voting for him. My right to vote was bought with blood and treasure, by generations of Patriots who died to give me what once was the greatest country on the face of the Earth. I won't dishonor their memory by throwing away my vote on yet another liberal, big-government Republican In Name Only.
Only Ron Paul has earned my vote. And he's the only man who's going to get it.

For those who think that Santorum won TN, know that the man did not have a single committed delegate in this state. All one had to do to be a delegate was get 100 signatures from registered voters and turn it in. I'm guessing the Santorum campaign is in talks with Gingrich and Perry delegates to turn them over. Like all things MSM, the true delegate count is a whole other ball of wax.

Going back to the "can't be bought" aspect of Dr. Paul's character. Here is the famous Jack Abramoff saying exactly that, noting that Dr. Paul could never be bought by lobbyists in all his time in Washington -
take note because the media will not share this with you:

Schizo Conservatism

That's what it's come down to, hasn't it? I used to be so proud to be a "conservative". In my juvenile world, Republicans were all about the Constitution and were going to reduce the government. Wow, that sure didn't happen. Now all we've got is backbiting and each one of the anti-Paul candidates has a big government record that would make FDR blush.

But nooo, they're "conservative" in schizo-con land. In Schizo-Con Land, it is perfectly OK for the UN to tell our boys (and girls) where and when to fight, because our Congress will bow down to them and vote for the money. This money which flows from the Federal Reserve Cartel, whose members are unknown, but highly suspected to be Goldman Sachs and friends, is based on nothing and can be manipulated by persons unknown on a whim. If you don't like any of that, then you must be a communist liberal. Go take a bath you hippie!
via Mises

Such is the mentality in Schizo-Con Land, where we all love rodeos, apple pie, old barns, and country music. And the UN! They'll tell you we need to kick out the UN and Agenda 21 while allowing the UN to dictate where our troops are sent. Support the troops and their UN orders!

Schizo Cons will also totally ignore any increases made in big government and will accept the complete ripping of the Constitution by someone as long as they sound and look OK on TV, and their mind minder like them.

Did I mention how much we just ignore parts of the Constitution that contradict our mind control talk radio masters? We must beat whatever democrat is in power now or it is the end of the world. Our nation is under attack, by golly!! But sadly Schizo Cons have the attention span of a gnat so they can't follow a detailed explanation on how the money supply and war are intertwined to make slaves of us all. They just can't be bothered to think beyond the 2-D Candyland world FoxNews Mark(MellonBoy)Levin, Rush, and the rest of the clowns paint for them.

It's just painful to watch. It actually reminds me of the Francis Schaeffer classic, Escape from Reason, where rationality exits stage right.

Check out this great interview of Jack Hunter doing the Super Tuesday Post Mortem, wherein he more eloquently, yet accurately describes the state of the Republican Party today.

Commie Conservatives

Found this excellent piece by Vox Day, articulating thoughts I've had on conservatives lately:

I find it extremely encouraging that both the Democratic and Republican establishments are training their biggest guns on Ron Paul while simultaneously attempting to play down the results of the Iowa caucuses. They never would have bothered to do so if Paul's message was not resonating with Americans across the political and ideological divides. We are learning a lot here as a result of the various reactions to the Paul campaign, whether it is the willingness of Republicans to play the race card about which they so often complain, the remarkable extent to which Newt Gingrich is big government moderate rather than the conservative flamethrower he feigned to be in 1994, and the way in which many Republicans who pretend to revere the Constitution do not, in fact, harbor any real respect for it at all.
